I had the same issue and the Auto down up and down stopped working as well on the Driver's side front window and I am at 13000 miles and I found your video, after completely watching it, I wanted to try the same reset and when I pulled the button up one time and lo behold the glass went up all the way up and it closed properly, I am now surprised and shocked, how it reset itself before I tried your fix. I am happy that I no longer has the problem, but will definetly remember to solve it if I get the same problem. Thank you so much for uploading the video.
This happened on the rear passenger side window. I thought my son who always sits there was slamming the door or doing something to cause this. Then I coincidentally found this video. I can’t wait to try this in the morning. Thanks so much.
I also learned this from her video. It happened within days of leaving the dealership and again today (three months later). It’s totally random but she was a god send for her simple reset!
Awesome video and thank you for posting! I own a Badlands (we call her Big Red) and have been to the dealership 3 different times for the same issue. They told me that they had to reset the window either by an update or reflashing the firmware (I can't remember which they said) to reset the window. So, I don't think the dealership knows this fix- again, awesome tip! I've also experienced another issue with my windows and have taken Big Red in multiple times for that as well. The issue seems to occur after I do the automatic roll down (Press the unlock button then press and hold the unlock button for 5 seconds- all the windows roll down). I say "seems to" because I haven't scientifically tested this yet to see if it happens every time. The issue has occurred on 1 window and it is this: When I try to close the windows, the (affected) window reaches the closed position and it automatically lowers itself all the way to the open position. I try closing it again and have the same issue. I have to manually stop the close right before it reaches the top and hope there's enough seal to keep rain out until I get to the dealership. Same thing, they have to reset it again. The last time it happened we had great weather for a couple weeks and I didn't have to worry about rain getting in and after a few days the issue went away. The next time this happens, I'll try your hack to see if it fixes the issue.
I love my bronco but this issue annoys me every blue moon this happens. I’m glad I found something to help fix it instead of messing with the window buttons until it fixes itself.
I was wondering why I had a breeze going to work and had just noticed as I was putting my kids on the bus my Right rear was up passed the seal… your trick worked thank you! 🎉
Works. I have a 2021 Bronco Sport. Notes: Be sure to hit second click, auto mode, and hold! to go down +5 seconds then up +5 seconds. My issue was rear driver went up then immediately went back down, would not stay up, happened sudden. Thank You!
I think with units that have the Auto Unlock when you place your hand on the handle to open the door to unlock it, should at the same time drop the window down. Most people are having window issues because the window does not drop down fast enough when opening the door, or they are not using the remote to unlock the door before they get to the bronco. Ford should up date the software where when you place your hand behind the door handle it unlocks the door and drops the window.
My 2021 Two door bronco just started not wanting to go up with the one touch it goes down you flick the button and it goes down on its own without holding the button but when I go to roll it up it used to go up on its own with just a one touch you didn't have to hold the lever thing but now it doesn't but the other one still does it right
I’ve had this happen to me on 2 occasions!! The first time was my passenger side window, and then my back right passenger window. I understand the retro frameless style of door, but ford this is just unacceptable!
how did you make the problem appear in order to show the fix. mine is occasional and always on the passenger rear window. i'll try this when i pick it up from the dealer that has no idea how to fix it.

@@GemmyDonCars I tried it a few different ways. Holding it down, for 10 seconds even. Holding up for the same. Also tried holding it both ways after letting go.
