Excellent information. A question, I'm a 69 Y/O retired enlisted (E7 Master Sergeant) with a dual citizen Filipina. Your videos says officers, would I be able to apply? Thank You
I was told by The Philippines Retirement Authority, through email, that an authenticated DD214 and authenticated Honorable Discharge regardless of officer or enlisted status.
FACT! The Officer part is misleading. I had the same thoughts and question as well. I am a USMC Veteran/separated E-5 and combined Civil Servant employee of almost 38 years (just turned 57). I retired on 2 Dec of last year and received my SRRV Card, Passport Stamp and certificate shortly in the New Year.

Any military personnel can apply for SRRV. It is just the wording of “officer” in the description. Philippines has a different designation when it comes to their own military group but a “rank” is almost equivalent to the term “officer”. Just my opinion.
The process was simple. Just like being in the Military. Just follow the steps and procedures from the Agents, and you should have a stress-free experience.
I receiving my SRRV in just around a month and immediately went to Department of Finance (DOF) to receive the approval to have my 9,000 lbs Duty-Free shipment from Vicenza, Italy process.

i am retired us military and am looking to apply for the srrv visa.. my wife is naturalized us citizen and dose not want to be dual... dose she fall under the dependant wheni file for srrv and dose that mean she is also an srrv status while we live in the Philippines?
