This saga also has a Jared Leto Morbius-looking vampire who can run on water and trap people’s shadows, a woman who repels bullets, a big electric Soviet colonel who chants in Japanese to keep himself from being struck by lightning, a psychic who can break the fourth wall, an astronaut who explodes into a giant flaming skull, a 100-year-old sniper who can summon forest spirits to help him, a ghost, and a cyborg ninja who fights said Morbius vampire through a dance-off.

People who say the anime feel doesn't fit MGS obviously haven't played many MGS games. Kojima's style is like a mixture of anime and Hollywood. That said a J-pop boss theme is a first for the series, but PW was also the same entry that changed McDonald Miller's name to Kazuhira Miller so maybe they were trying harder to appeal to the Japanese audience over the Western one.

Actually, the singer is Paz's Japanese VA. In Paz's diary, she states that she was meant to sing it, and that Miller was writing it, but she was running out of time, and had to activate ZEKE before she got the chance.
Why does everyone say Kaz wrote this? He wrote the music. Paz wrote the lyrics. That's mentioned in MGSV tapes. That aside this is a genuine banger and it amuses me greatly that it was in a Metal Gear game.
Agreed it is a banger, but in Peace Walker’s audio logs named “Paz’s Diary” she talked about the song and only mentions how Miller wrote it and she got roped into singing it on stage, and in the last tape she describes what the song is about but she never stated she wrote the lyrics. Besides Paz in TTP was a literal hallucination and so were her cassette tapes.

I fully believe the events shown in them aside from Paz noticing time never progresses past a certain point are intended to be taken as facts given they're based on Big Boss' memories that were given to him.
This track is sung by Paz's Japanese voice actor, so I wonder why they didn't have Tara Strong sing a translated version. Lady has a good singing voice.

I just played this while fighting Jetstream Sam and MAN does it work well. It has moments of down time and perfect build up when Sam just circles you until the music really kicks in and you just go ham on him, I even managed to time his death near perfectly when everything settles down
Have to say this made a great track for the boss fight for some reason I could not stop vibing to it which is really frustrating when trying to fight a maxed out metal gear but the rollerskate move was what I could just never avoid. It's a completely different pace and style from the emotional trauma we went through in snake eater, granted the betrayal hit hard but as I said no where near snake eater emotion.
I would SO like to see this battle in a movie adaptation of Peace Walker. It would be the culmination of cinematography and anime adaptation we've all been waiting for so long

If Zeke was still operational or at least salvageable, wouldn't we have heard something? Personally, the lack of information regarding Zeke's fate makes it all the more bitter to swallow.

I had many problems with Peace Walker, but in all its weirdness (Fighting Paz, this Song, Big Boss lifting Zeke) its one of the best boss fights in the series
i miss the days when kojima was only focused in making "fun games" like PW... my wish in 2020 is for Kojima to develop a game not targeting the AAA audience or to see Konami develop a new Metal Gear game in a different style like Ac!d or PO and PW on PSP back then
Kojima just has a heavier focus on making serious art than "targetting the AAA audience". Not saying this hasn't been an issue in some way, only that he isn't trying to pander. He just has a different focus now if that makes sense.
Haste Plus it's only if you also complete the tasks of finding Zadornov, especially finding him one final time where Kaz will said that he has no idea where he is, which then this is the final search before leading into this, Plus another thing, the final boss is easy to fight, but if you put much better upgrades with a few PW gears, This is where Zeke becomes more difficult to fight

Very late but…you cant avoid the booster attack by trying to run between its legs.
When I fought Paz in the final battle, I kept the fight going longer just hear the whole song lol I really enjoyed it 😊😊😊.

I had many problems with Peace Walker, but in all its weirdness (Fighting Paz, this Song, Big Boss lifting Zeke) its one of the best boss fights in the series
The song becomes really depressing after listening to the diary and even more so after ground zeroes
i miss the days when kojima was only focused in making "fun games" like PW...
my wish in 2020 is for Kojima to develop a game not targeting the AAA audience or to see Konami develop a new Metal Gear game in a different style like Ac!d or PO and PW on PSP back then

Kojima just has a heavier focus on making serious art than "targetting the AAA audience". Not saying this hasn't been an issue in some way, only that he isn't trying to pander. He just has a different focus now if that makes sense.

This is a bonus boss fight, the true final boss fight was when you fought peace walker.

@Insurrective No, it IS the final boss. The game's plot ends here. It's not a bonus just because you didn't like it. The bonus is fighting it unmanned.
