I think this song perfectly captures the essence of humanity.
When two sides meet, and both of them finally understand, after all the grief, after all the fights, that in the end both of them want what's best. The realisation AS you are killing your foe that what they wanted isn't so far off from what you yourself are seeking, but that the unfortunate minute differences ultimately mean you can't reach a compromise.
And, in the end, realising that maybe you yourself aren't any better, and that perhaps your mutual destruction is best for everyone, so that something new and beautiful can arise from the ashes of the destruction you've unwittingly wrought.
Very philosophical, a beautiful analogy.
As time goes on I worry less about the clash of ideologies but instead about people who crave chaos with no real motive. People who have snapped and just want to see everything burn

even after my revengeance s rank playthough, which took in total 50 hours, because i suck, i still can listen to these songs without being tired of them, and the game too.

@@sagehashtag6215 i played through normally, on normal difficulty, watching cutscenes, so around 7ish hours, then hard, which again, im bad, so i would say that playthrough was probably 10, maybe less, and then very hard, that one took 10 again, since i got better, and then revengance was very difficult so, 15ish, and the other missing 7 hours, was me replaying bosses for fun, or practicing on higher difficulties before i ran all the way through

@@Victini7472 The song plays its kickass outro from 2:30 onwards, but if you listen to the "Soundtrack" version, there would be 2 more dramatic bars at 2:40 before the track finally ends. In this extended loop, at 2:40 it just throws a massive curveball by dropping you SEAMLESSLY back into the Chorus.

Playing Back4Blood with this playlist in the background, last level of the Act with a full melee deck, and ran to wail on a "Breaker" boss. The chorus of this song kicked in with a timing so perfect it must be the will of the gods, so I ditched the bat, and just went to town with the basic melee. With the buffs I had accumulated, that meant alternating punches at five hits per second while "Standing here, I realize..." blared in my headset. *I felt complete.*

by the far the best song in the game at least in my opinion since it's intense yet not as dramatic as the others, it just feels different more peaceful and calm in a way as it sprouts a beautiful end truly fitting for a final boss fight just an absolute beautiful aged piece of art and wonderfully shows respect to both armstrong & raidens character

The nostalgia is hard for me personally. I wish I could experience MGR:R all over again and not spending 500 hours on it. The game was so good that it literally came back to life in 2022. but now in 2023 it started dying out. Legendary game.

very climactic for a final boss battle. very fitting for two men settling it in a fight for what they believe in. you get to kill a politician so it’s a 10/10
