Came up with a great system for laying mines in defense: Get a Tank Crew, Scout Car with 4 crew spaces and Engineering truck. Put the Tank Crew in the Scout Car and send both vehicles out to your chosen mine field. Hop out the Tank Crew, select the whole squad and examine Engineer Truck inventory to fill all four members with AT and AP mines. Their inventory is basically empty so they can carry double the capacity normal AT and AP miners can, and they can externally repair vehicles / replace lost crew later in the defense. Tell the Tank Crew to throw away all items too (weapons, bandages) for even more mine space 🙏🏻
The best thing about conquest is stuff like this. Sometimes you get horrible luck and are forced to go to the last man and final bullet. Looting, scavenging for what you can to win. And other times you can sit pretty like this and just enjoy the show. These highs and lows I feel are what makes the game mode so damn addictive.
This really is the truth too. I've had missions that were just training sessions losing maybe 3 or 4 guys in the whole run, and the next one becomes a frantic meat grinder in the outskirts of a village in nowhere. Definitely one of the best games I've played
I had a terrible experience on this map when my AA fail to shoot down an enemy bomber 😢 Speaking of mines. I've been using this tactic for a long time: put AT and AP miners and also 2 supply trucks in my first-second tier of reinforcement. Then disembark the supply truck drivers and put one AT and one AP infantry in each truck. Then send both trucks in the assumed direction’s of attack (and drag the cannons to defensive position along the way). Also let the drivers chase the trucks :) Another very effective tactic only works with the US. It can be used to weaken the enemy attack in three directions. USA has a pretty fast car that only cost 2 points and can carry +7 infantry (and tow artillery). I put in the car not only AT and AP miners, but engineers also - because Normandy maps are full of ramparts and "tunnels” you can block one enemy attack just with X barriers. If you use pause to prepare the defense, you will be able to block three directions of attack in 6 minutes - one with X barriers and two with mines. Only after the battle should you return to destroy the stuck enemy equipment (the officer's binoculars help to do this more safely).
I hope you are going for the motorized Fallschirmjäger. Better than the Brandenburger. FG42 ftw. :P The 1F might be too outdated at this point, tho. because your Panzer 4 H has the same 80mm of armor and can wreck inf as tanks, while the 1F is anti inf only. Would have been amazing at the start, not at this time, tho. Just get the Wirbelwind, its def the best anti air and anti inf, you might want to ivnest into that. :P
@@PuggoRebornChannel If you love the Brandenburger, you will want to marry the Fallschirmjäger. They come with trucks, have more troops, same high HP and are just the top elite troops of the germans. Although not as fast. But thats why you have trucks. Usually I take Paks with me that those trucks carry and establish a quick front to have enough time in defense missions. Engineers can really help you with tank foxholes for your Panzer 4s and later Panthers and Tigers.

Awesome strategy man🍻
That first tank shot was just *chef's kiss* you love to see that fireball where an enemy tank used to be.

I might have to try this out
Amazing as always Puggo, good stuff! Now come to the dark side and play PvP with me. 😉😂
Effective defensive zones of concentrated fire.. sometimes the pathing has become too predictable.. love the road use fir sure. Well done!
This was an awesome defense, good job bro!

Wirbelwind is my next goal! I love the Brandenburger, and have to go that way due to the lack of research missions

An excellent defense!
They didn’t stand a chance
