French ‘LMG’ from WW1
More or less a French BAR. Pretty cursed and pretty obsolete at the time ww2 popped off.

The thing is that Chauchat is still better then:
1)Breda 30;
2)having a bolt action(MAYBE unless it's swiss straight pull carbine or british jungle carbine);
3)better then no gun.
Imho, mass Chauchat sounds cool and quite close to its intended role as "mass LMG".
Also there are M1920 Bergman SMGs in a box next to it

At this rate you just get the best in terms of stats guys armed with bolt actions and rearm them to this combo. 1 Chauchat might not be the most accurate and 1 Bergman doesn't have the highest magazine capacity and rate of fire, BUT when there's 10 of them... Accuracy by volume of fire™
@@TheArklyte I think it is just this campaign mission, they are just a bit to the left of the spawn/truck area, also, I thought the accuracy was pretty good on the Chauchant compared to other LMGs?
@@ronanmcdonald6386 irl? It's somewhat average across the board, worse then Bren and MG34, but comparable to MG42 and DP-27.
Ingame? From what I've seen it's quite bad unless the shooter is prone. So it counts solely as machinegun. Walking fire is a bit too optimistic for it.
Well, it's still quite a huge thing compared to having bolt actions only. Pity that in Men of War series infantry is unreliable against AI:(

Tip, you can manual aim snipers, a lot faster and cool. Plus theres mod for all weapons 1st person.

@@owo1744 The Lapland War. The Finnish and Axis were more allies of convenience than staunch allies. Once the Axis no longer had the initiative against the Soviets the Finn's opted to not get steamrolled in the Continuation War. So they had the Germans leave.
