i bet that all the people that got invaded didnt even read the instructions all the way, you can literally turn off invasions if you dont want them... it's in the same place that allows summons everywhere
Looking at the mod page, it's the other way round. You have to deliberately allow invasions.

"They play seamless coop because they don't want invaders" Whats even funnier is you can TURN OFF invaders in the config files, so they either don't know they can do that or just choose not to.
it's ON by default and they probably just missed that or thought that you need to know a password to invade someone
I think most people use it not to avoid invasions, but because the base game coop experience is so lackluster

So, the reason that the building falls is, that every destructible’s health is damaged by poise damage, the devs coded the standing up animation after a loading screen to do 99999999999999 damage to avoid getting stuck in some assets

This works since Dark Souls 1. It's used at one part in Sen's Fortress in speedruns to get through a wall.

I wouldn’t say that yet, the invasions still need a lot of work- along with invader groups- and they really need to implement some way to isolate players depending on their mods.
But the potential is amazing and the fact you can run a more difficult, modded experience with your friends is awesome.
I hope it will have multiple invaders, I’d install the mod to play solo just for that
The mod is great but PvP is just physically unplayable, tried it myself and due to the fact there was no anticheat about 1/5 invaders just teleported to me from across the map and summoned Consort Radahn as a spirit ash. Convenient? Yeah. Fun? Questionable.

@@anom2619 To be fair you are always capable of cheating back at their face. No anticheat is still an issue but it's certainly better than having Easy AntiCheat which just allows cheaters to cheat and non-cheaters have to suffer 100% of the time.

Hop on a decent modloader, tell it to install, super stable, and it runs. Only time it tends to break is because of an entirely different mod

I will say I'm glad they fixed the distance invaders spawn, cuz not gonna lie the warp thing from cheat engine is very annoying when most invaders abuse it. Most will use it in unfavorable positions. Things like being taken town a elevator just to warp up top. Other than this invasions are a nice spice to the seamless experience

To be Fair most people that play seamless co-op probably just want seamless co-op not that they want to avoid invaders don't know why you would think that. Base game Elden Ring has much to be desired as a multiplayer experience.
Yeah, I am actually really glad they finally added invasions to it
One thing to note is that in Seamless Co-op, there is no 'scaling'. If you're level 50 and your level 200 friend joins, they're at full strength. When you invade, you're just matched to the player with the highest rune/upgrade level, which is why a bunch of people just had no vigour and no damage.

The best part about these invasions is that you can steal items from their world that you haven’t gotten in yours. Unfortunately you get no festering bloody fingers and the spawn spots are shit

Pretty sure invasions with seamless coop are busted heavily in the invader's favor, lvl 70 invading people who are likely closer to 25-35 regardless of weapon upgrade level which likely isnt factored in or is heavily in favor of invaders again. Wouldn't surprise me if it seriously just doesn't check max weapon level or if a +5 somber / +25 smithing can invade a +2/+12
I think it scales the invader down to the highest level player in the party, but I've been trying to find actual info about it. In the DLC areas for example I think it doesn't account for Scadu fragments at all, which does make it really unbalanced in the invader's favor...
@@user-vd7io9jc8f In base game it scales the invader down but as we see in the video he invades a person who is about to fight Margit and who have 400-500 HP with starting gear and one shots him.
It matches based on the highest player present and weapon upgrade. No one is leveling vigor whic is why players pop like balloons. I've seen rl100 characters with base vigor.

at the time albino streamed seamless coop invasions the hosts he was fighting were usually half of his level: he would be level 70 fighting level 35 hosts
you can check by checking the amount of runes the hosts dropped when killed
You would assume people who know how to mod would have more braincells but it seems the opposite
seamless does it backwards. You invade lower levels since you're fighting a 1vX so that it's more equitable.

Invasions aren't level based like they are in elden ring. You will join *anyone* with invasions on, regardless of what their level is. So, when Bino invades, he's probably around 100 levels higher than the people he's invading.
Invading in Seamless is currently a very broken experience.

@@InsomniacUN most of us had already played and knew what to do so we just went straight to the download page, and the people that hadn't played before got the link for the download sent through discord. we legit didnt even comprehend what was happening until one of us died.
i used to be one of those people who hated invasions but ive changed and have come to understand that its an essential part of the souls experience and im glad its apart of co-op

11:56 I've played seamless for Main and DLC with 2 others, and every 30 minutes-> 1,2,4 hours or so one of us will either disappear, float, invisihorse, invisitree, loose key items like flasks/scadu randomly, and fall through the map. Good mod, bad handling of in-mem functions and bad handling of network recovery that cause it.
Fromsoft needs to implement or add something similar to consoles, it would save invasions and make them fun again
To save PvP is to remove broken shit like swift slash. And maybe don't let the host have 3 other players to play the game for them...? Either way, I think this mod is better for PvE-only co-op players.

-> Make taunter's tongue unable to be toggled on/off during active invasions. That will make it a lot better since, tongue is a big reason for invasions in this game sucking
And solo invasions would be good, even as an opt-in thing (i.e. off by default), since only being able to get invaded when you're solo by using tongue is a stupid idea and I have no idea why fromsoft made it work like that, I genuinely want to have the ability to be invaded when I'm doing normal gameplay without me knowing when it could happen but they just designed invasion PvP awfully for elden ring IMO
@@seraphi.m they made the tongue because the vast, and I mean really vast, majority of the fanbase doesn't like their game pvp. And I think they are right, but not for the annoyance of the invasion, but bacuse the pvp just really suck mechanically. I'd play any other pvp game instead.
@@giulioceresini1435invasions should depend on rune arc activation instead of summoning like how ember used to work. Make rune arcs easier to obtain and whenever you defeat a boss, you are rune-arced. But at the end of the day, making the multiplayer 4 players only really hurts both the co-op and invasions alike.
So for anyone wondering why albino got hit during the elevator seamless has had this function since early on my guess of it is that in order for it to be completely open world. the mod basically makes a phantom version of yourself that will always be next to the host and vise versa to keep things from deloading due to being far away. it will apear as them floating in the air or in the ground somewhere around you when you are far away from the other person it functions as the player itself normally it doesnt do anything the persons {clone or ghost you can call it} but if pvp is enabled and if you can reach the ghost youll do damage to the actual person even if they are in a completely different area {enemies also used to be able to aggro to the ghost and even damage them but that seems to have been changed since seamless got rehauled since the dlc} i have personally seen it happen many times using seamless for the past 2 years

I get cheating in items to be able to stand a chance in combat and also having the build you want instantly in ORDER to do said combat. But then also specifically allocating stats so that you'll invade lower lvl lobbies WITH DLC gear is pretty fucked up. Granted these players could've also just y'know... *turned off* invasions?
I get the idea that some would want fair invasions in low lvl lobbies when starting out, but that is an extreme minority and if you encountered that, then the players would also probably know how to deal with this BS albino is pulling off.

As a seemless player , I whant invasion, we allready play on ng+7 cause it's to easy other wise , we're a group of 4 player , invasion and ng+7 makes the game feel like original difficulty

seamless lets you invade everyone with invasions ON, no matter the level. also he gave himself endgame/DLC gear that the hosts couldn't even obtain yet.
There should be a setting to see the lvl of people, maybe you did invade newbies due to mod not having gear matchmaking or something?
If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend trying the Defuckenated mod.

Seamless co-op got me into invading. I like to change my name to famous youtubers and just do goofy shit and do fake outs. I’m good at pretending like I’m about to be really good at the game. My move is I always chug all my red flasks in view of the fingers/host and then I just bloodhound step around, spam annoying stuff that isn’t good just annoying and then I like to jump off a cliff after wasting as much time as possible being an annoying brat. It helps me sleep in my dark times.❤😂❤

The mod really needs a version of that teleport built in. Theres been many times where I got invaded and just never found them. Also the desync is an issue, had a few times where I couldnt be damaged and twice where I backed off and pretty sure they couldnt even see me. Not often but it does present a problem where I just beat on a dude I wanted to 1v1.

I wasn’t interested in base game invasions but I can’t stop doing seamless invasions. It’s just downright better.
I was playing seemless with a friend and didn't even know we could get invaded, randomly found some dude in Patches cave throwing poison mist at us and we thought it was an NPC cuz he just run at us and died lol.

Also for those of you interested in doing this, you dont *need* the cheat table now (but it helps), because they recently updated it so that you dont spawn 1000 miles away anymore.

Can you find random people to coop with in the game world like in vanilla? I'm thinking of switching to this mod if it means no more crashes and slowdowns from EAC. The only reason I haven't switched yet is my friend that wants to play with randoms.

So, my theory on why you're finding so many people with really, really low vigor is because of the Reforged mod. You can basically play the game like an MMO with tanks, healers, and DPS, so if you don't get hit, no point in leveling vigor right? lol
nah Seamless lets you invade anyone, even with a dramatically lower level. Also the hosts most likely were playing the game normally while Albino just gave himself OP endgame and DLC gear through cheats.

Honestly when they added this update and I was playing with a friend, we got invaded and I s2g I believed it was a hacker, I was tweaking, only to find out you can disable it XD
While it is funny to prostate exam and DK barrel throw the host to death, it's probably not when you're on the other side, and the poor balancing of Seamless's invasion (Can be invaded by a level 200 at lv 50 yknow) is already punishing enough, i feel like invading base game people with given runes and DLC weapons is kind of a dick move. :(
And yes ik you can deactivate invasion at any time, but i think new peoples trying out the mod for the first time either didn't read that, or expected some kind of balance.
And even if you say "well they just have to read all of the config" , may i remind you that people cried their heart out when they didn't read that you had to have a PSN account in order to play helldivers 2 on both steam, and the litteral first screen of the game besides the intro.
While im all against it and the entire executives team can burn to hell as far as i'm concerned , it was written plain and simple where you shouldn't be able to miss it, and people managed to say it's Sony's fault ,and it wasn't visible enough, and they "rug-pulled" the game for puting this rule into place month later after they announced it, and with multiples month to see it on screen and on the steam page of the game.
You should expect peoples to read the full config file and on screen text as much as you should expect Big Companies to do the slightest of good thing for the industry : You straight up shouldn't.
