I wouldn’t say that yet, the invasions still need a lot of work- along with invader groups- and they really need to implement some way to isolate players depending on their mods. But the potential is amazing and the fact you can run a more difficult, modded experience with your friends is awesome.
The mod is great but PvP is just physically unplayable, tried it myself and due to the fact there was no anticheat about 1/5 invaders just teleported to me from across the map and summoned Consort Radahn as a spirit ash. Convenient? Yeah. Fun? Questionable.

@@anom2619 To be fair you are always capable of cheating back at their face. No anticheat is still an issue but it's certainly better than having Easy AntiCheat which just allows cheaters to cheat and non-cheaters have to suffer 100% of the time.
Frankly I would leave that to jei. Hop on a decent modloader, tell it to install, super stable, and it runs. Only time it tends to break is because of an entirely different mod

I will say I'm glad they fixed the distance invaders spawn, cuz not gonna lie the warp thing from cheat engine is very annoying when most invaders abuse it. Most will use it in unfavorable positions. Things like being taken town a elevator just to warp up top. Other than this invasions are a nice spice to the seamless experience
One thing to note is that in Seamless Co-op, there is no 'scaling'. If you're level 50 and your level 200 friend joins, they're at full strength. When you invade, you're just matched to the player with the highest rune/upgrade level, which is why a bunch of people just had no vigour and no damage.
To be Fair most people that play seamless co-op probably just want seamless co-op not that they want to avoid invaders don't know why you would think that. Base game Elden Ring has much to be desired as a multiplayer experience.
Pretty sure invasions with seamless coop are busted heavily in the invader's favor, lvl 70 invading people who are likely closer to 25-35 regardless of weapon upgrade level which likely isnt factored in or is heavily in favor of invaders again. Wouldn't surprise me if it seriously just doesn't check max weapon level or if a +5 somber / +25 smithing can invade a +2/+12
I think it scales the invader down to the highest level player in the party, but I've been trying to find actual info about it. In the DLC areas for example I think it doesn't account for Scadu fragments at all, which does make it really unbalanced in the invader's favor...

Invasions aren't level based like they are in elden ring. You will join *anyone* with invasions on, regardless of what their level is. So, when Bino invades, he's probably around 100 levels higher than the people he's invading. Invading in Seamless is currently a very broken experience.

Good mod, bad handling of in-mem functions and bad handling of network recovery that cause it.
I was playing seemless with a friend and didn't even know we could get invaded, randomly found some dude in Patches cave throwing poison mist at us and we thought it was an NPC cuz he just run at us and died lol.
If I'm not mistaken the dude hitting the wall with the saw assumed it was the *9999 hp illusory wall* Could have been, could not have been. Btw it only takes 1 damage per hit from any source.
To save PvP is to remove broken shit like swift slash. And maybe don't let the host have 3 other players to play the game for them...? Either way, I think this mod is better for PvE-only co-op players.

Make rune arcs easier to obtain and whenever you defeat a boss, you are rune-arced. But at the end of the day, making the multiplayer 4 players only really hurts both the co-op and invasions alike.
The mod really needs a version of that teleport built in. Theres been many times where I got invaded and just never found them. Also the desync is an issue, had a few times where I couldnt be damaged and twice where I backed off and pretty sure they couldnt even see me. Not often but it does present a problem where I just beat on a dude I wanted to 1v1.

So for anyone wondering why albino got hit during the elevator seamless has had this function since early on my guess of it is that in order for it to be completely open world. the mod basically makes a phantom version of yourself that will always be next to the host and vise versa to keep things from deloading due to being far away. it will apear as them floating in the air or in the ground somewhere around you when you are far away from the other person it functions as the player itself normally it doesnt do anything the persons {clone or ghost you can call it} but if pvp is enabled and if you can reach the ghost youll do damage to the actual person even if they are in a completely different area {enemies also used to be able to aggro to the ghost and even damage them but that seems to have been changed since seamless got rehauled since the dlc} i have personally seen it happen many times using seamless for the past 2 years
So, my theory on why you're finding so many people with really, really low vigor is because of the Reforged mod. You can basically play the game like an MMO with tanks, healers, and DPS, so if you don't get hit, no point in leveling vigor right? lol
nah Seamless lets you invade anyone, even with a dramatically lower level. Also the hosts most likely were playing the game normally while Albino just gave himself OP endgame and DLC gear through cheats.

Looking at the mod page, it's the other way round. You have to deliberately allow invasions.
