Oh my ... ! What a great and smooth perfect landing Liina did and looking forward for more of her flights in the next channel on RUclips again. Thanks so much. Regards. From The Flight Deck .
Yes.....AirBaltic! Gear Up with F/O Liina! Good story she tell us.....and nice cockpit views.....JP...Many Thanks Again :-) Lovely evening! Greetings Betsy.
Only two things to say: 1- beautiful plane 2- I also saw Liina on another RUclips channel (air-clips) :P Oh, one more thing. Great video! :) Greetings from Argentina!
A220 is a beautiful aircraft! I've had a few jump seats with this operator a few times, and I've flown into Riga lots of times! I should do a video like this as well, like if you'd like to see that!
Unlike in the US where you can get all your licenses and certifications through flight school without ever having to step one foot into a college course. Although the price is typically close the same for getting all of your licenses through flight school or going for a bachelors degree. Both will run you around 100k for everything. Good thing for loans, grants, and scholarships though, plus even as a first officer you make enough to be able to pay that off fairly easily. Or do it the even better route, just be a corporate private pilot, not a commercial pilot. You can basically skip even being a first officer and go straight to being a captain depending on which position the company is looking for. Big factor in that though is how many flight hours you have and how many are as PIC. Some want 2k-3k hours minimum of you being the PIC before they will even think about hiring you.
@@oates76 Thats not true. Most large aircraft have a tiller to steer nose wheel on both sides. It's just airline policy that captain do taxi on the ground.
A. One air plane airline makes a lot of sense, Less to learn less to teach, everyone on same page( all pilots employed can fly all planes. And if there are stretched and shrunk versions there is still a lot of flexibility. The A220/CS300 makes sense to, because it is the most modern small single isle airliner and has the most subsidized development. Which means bang for your buck. It is also the most efficient because it has more carbon fiber in its construction. Subsidized development also means it is less likely to have development bugs as per MCAS in 737 maxes. Small aircraft means point to point flights rather than point to hub to hub to point flights.
Delta flies then right now - they have 45 -100s and 28 on order, 50 -300s and 0 on order. JetBlue has 70 -300s on order. Also Air Canada has 45 -300s with 1 on order.
That we still need two pilots is beyond me... The plane can easily fly itself and one pilot can serve as backup, Its not like 50 yrs ago when there was no computer (FCU) in the plane...

@@rocketPower047 oh the major incidents I know about. It's the times it's been AOG because of all the normal faults I'm wondering about.
I like it

Great landing by her😀😀
Would you fly as a long haul pilot
After landing, why the pilots change the control? saludos.
Many large aircraft have a tiller to steer the nose wheel on the ground, and most only have one on the captains side.
@@oates76 thanks for the info.

@@maxou5757 he was right. You are wrong.
Hayrullah Ceylan i fly an airbus A330 and I can assure you that all airbus aircraft with fly by wire technology have a tiller on both sides.

A220s have silent engines!!!
Mdr.
Que perigo... Mulher pilotando avião... Mal dirigem carro... 😂😂😂😂😂
Again with the sexist titles. Grow up.
That we still need two pilots is beyond me...
The plane can easily fly itself and one pilot can serve as backup,
Its not like 50 yrs ago when there was no computer (FCU) in the plane...
Erik S “the plane can easily fly itself” is definitely not true. That it has many functionalities to relieve pilots work, that is true.
Then what happens when things go wrong? Incidents like Northwest 85 or Qantas 32 might have been fatal without multiple crew onboard
I feel unsafe when women are in the cockpit. Seriously.😰😨😱
Most (if not all) human error accidents are caused by male pilots.
