That drive by with the valves open was GLORIOUS.
Just put mine on. Man am I in love with that sound! Thought it was to quite at first then realized it was in comfort mode. Put in dynamic mode and wow. Puts a smile on every time.
Happy you're happy!
How is the drone in dynamic for the highway?? It is between this and Milltek non res?
Can't wait for ours to arrive
those pops sound so good
Been waiting on this to drop
finally!
Please make an exhaust for the RS7, I’ve been holding off the money so plz make one so I can buy the car lol
I've been seeing different reviews on these exhaust systems. I'm still confused, does the switch path open/close valve still work with the original drive select mode in the cabin? Or is there an entirely separate switch and the current cabin button is useless?
You've come to the right place to get the facts, Nicco. The SwitchPath™ Exhaust retains the factory valve behavior, and acts exactly as the factory configuration does. We do not have a remote kit as of yet.
@@awetuning ok so when I chose "dynamic or sport" the valves will still open as they normally do only this time it'll sound more heavenly? Nothing separate from the OEM design?
You are correct.
@@awetuning how are the downshifts sounding? havent really seen any clips showing it. just curious, mine is on its way right now!
They're addicting, @@SqueakyNeekyTV.
Wish I never seen this video. I told myself I was done buying RS3 parts
Lmao
👌🏻😍🔥
Little too expensive IMO, probably just go for the mid pipes , especially in the US to get rid of the cats
So I guess I’m getting this
Hi , May I know is stock car ? I mean no remap anything and is this pure sound of AWE exhaust ?
That is correct.
Noice
Why does the car do a small shuddering like motion once it goes from a standstill to full throttle? Is that because of the transmission? can see it @ 2:42 and 3:01?
Traction control keeping the beast in check.
@@awetuning it’s not because it’s a DCT? And it’s also turbo? I’ve noticed when cars with dct when they don’t use launch control they takeoff weird
Can we keep the valves open at all times?
The valve obeys the car's ECU. If you are not worried about having the ability to go stealthy -- i.e. valve closed -- check out the Track Edition.
is the switchpath remote compatible with this exhaust? I guess that would be one way to choose between open and closed valves
The existing configuration does not as the valve technology on these cars is new compared to previous technologies. We are working on a solution.
allowed in germany? if so i will order

Is this California smog legal?
Will this fit the 8Y?
No fitment for the 8Y yet, but we are working on it!
@@awetuning Done yet? 😛 jk I just can't wait
Very soon 🫣
And why would you ever want valves closed lol? Have a full AWE TBE system on my gti and I don’t understand why you’d ever want it quieter.
The GTI and the RS 3 are different beasts, and some are considerate of their neighbors ;)
I had full awe system on my golf r and it was loud dude. Catted/resonated DP and switchpath exhaust. I kept it in quiet mode more times than not.
Sounds like pure sex to me
Sounds a bit too mellow in my opinion
