I had the 17-inch I love it just not big enough I think I'm going to go with the 28 in I found one for $170... it has the stainless steel face I found it on. I would love to get a 36-inch but I don't have $400 to spend right now...
@@dank9288639 I just bought one 3 months ago a 36 in Blackstone it was used but I got it for $200 it was only a year old. The people I bought it off of wanted one that had all the bells and whistles..
Hey - thanks for watching! Actually, I have a newer 'authentic' philly cheesesteaks (with onions) video here if interested: ruclips.net/video/7_D0g0jLu_s/видео.html
Hey Jim! I have some other cheesesteak videos where I load em up with peppers and onions.. even some 'philly cheesesteak' eggrolls this last summer with some peppers/onions. Check em out! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment - hope to see your comments on some of my other videos!
This is a philly cheesesteak.. you're thinking I need cheese wiz or something? lol. That's for the tourists that come here :). I do need some peppers and onions on the next cook, however.
No worries, I totally understand 👍🏻 ... I've lived in the philly area all my life and what I've gotten from it regarding cheesesteaks is the whiz is worth trying, but, mostly bought by people visiting the city from other areas. A good philly cheesesteak has your favorite combination of griddled thinly sliced beef (rib eye when you're feeling rich), some kind of cheese, and usually peppers and onions. Edit: also, sorry for jumping down your throat with my first reply :)
So much cross contamination... I didn't see any cuts where you had time to stop and wash your hands after handling that raw meat... The cheese might be good because it sat near the heat for a bit but the outside of the rolls is basically covered in raw meat juice. It is rare to get food poisoning but please make sure to let people know to clean their hands or at least wear gloves in between handling raw and cooked food. I did notice that you let the spatulas sit on the hot grill to cook off any raw meat contaminates which is a good habit to get into.
Thank for watching and the concern - I agree that I could have been a little more careful on this video, but plenty of people eat rare beef - some even eat it uncooked - there's a restaurant near me that actually sells uncooked burgers.
Next time stand in line at the deli and get the cheese sliced fresh. Ruined a good sandwich with that pre sliced packaged garbage ! Put a garbage can near you instead of using your pockets! And no plates! Amateur! Next time have the helper make the sandwich instead!!
Looked good but I definitely would've had some onions and bell peppers sizzlin right next to the pile of meat.
I usually do two piles now - plain and one with onions/peppers! :)
Hey my 22 inch walmart special griddle came with griddle no stand and bonus hood carry bag but how do I install the hood onto the griddle
that 22' blackstone with the stand and hood is the best value/performing griddle for the price.
Great job just ordered a cover for mine have you tried beef hotdogs wrapped in bacon 🥓
Thanks - not yet, it's on my list though!
and top them with fresh tomato and onions try
Do you have a link where I can get Exact set up hood and stand included?
Walmart-$174 , Amazon $180

How in the hell are you going to cook Philly Cheesesteaks without onions??? blastphamy!! lol

Yup looks great, just NEED the peppers n onions.
What's the difference between the silver one and the black one?
Different color?
I would have added the onions & peppers with yellow American cheese (no cheese whiz), but nice job on the sandwiches.
Yeah, my wife would agree - I like em where I can taste the meat/cheese, but she likes the peppers/onions on it
Looks amazing!
Thanks man!
I have that same set of plates
Nice! I can't remember where we got em, but they're great.
how do you order that cover
Dennis Ritter they sell the grill, cover, stand, and adapter hose at Walmart for $147! You can also buy stand and cover on Amazon separately.
Looks delicious 👍
Thanks Vabasser! Can't wait to make them again.
I got a black stone , I’m going to use your recipe 👍

Yeah, my best so far was rib-eye.. expensive, but superior.

Looks good! Subbed 👍
That heat was too low.. Need more heat.
Hey Lunch - sorry for the late reply.. I'll do lower heat with more meat on there as not to overcook and dry out. Thanks for watching!
it does not seem like the grill is hot.
Also, where's da whizz?? Gotta have cheese whizz lol
Where's the bell peppers, onions, that's just a regular steak sandwich with cheese not a Philly!!!!!! 😝

Mr. HomeOwner I’m not used to seeing the provolone! Yea it’s an option but typically see it with American and yes of course the whiz!

This wasn't rib-eye.. just the cheap meat - tasted great with that cheese! I hear ya though about the trash can - would make things much easier! 👍🏻
Triggered much Mike? Who cares what he used and who cares about a garbage can. Complain elsewhere
I see cross contamination handling the seasoning right off the bat... I would wash my hands with every interaction with food and seasoning
No onions. Should of got the 36 inch
The 22" was a fathers day present - recently bought the 36" as well if you check some of my recent videos 👍
FIRST YOU HAVE TO FIND A BLACKSTONE GRILL THAT WORKS...........!!!!!!!!!!
Much better ones out there. Short of a waste of time.
