It’s great to see New England in the Hunting sphere, great legends in the woods but also incredibly difficult to get. I am proud to hunt here. From South Shore MA myself.
@@derekjohnson4109 More wilderness is what makes it hard. No corn, bean or alfalfa fields to work off of. The deer density is super low. It's a place where you're not allowed to bag two deer in one hunt, they want you to work for it in order to raise the population. I'm in NH now, coming from PA, I was used to game trails- ain't no trails here.
@@kenpagal727 they are out there. to get an older buck to cross your path around here you have to be persistent and really pay attention to detail. things that would never scare a young buck or doe will ghost a mature buck. Goodluck
got a 128'' 5 years back in foster RI dressed 212lbs looks great on the wall next to the eight pointer from Winn co Maine I got on Fri the 13th 2015. Nothing like the woods of New England. Private land permission is hard to come by but I too love hunting small public land. Hunting 2 now with the bow.....lots of sign, lots of browse and acorns. seen a few does in both spots. Fall in New England is truly magical! To he hunt.......
I hunt and live in northern Maine. Hard place to hunt bucks. I would have flanked in working the wind snuck up the hill top and set my saddle in one of those trees and shot that buck. Run and gun hasn't caught on in Maine yet
You could be right! Body proportions are just as important as size, if not more. But it's no science, definitely an art, and you guys hopefully know best!
It's ashame when people need to sit behind their computer and criticize another's lifestyle that in no way affects them. If you don't like hunting, that's fine, leave them alone!

I can't wait to Hunt for the first time starting next year.awesome video!!
NH hunting sounds amazing. "it's really warm... high 70s"
*laughs in sad Texan*
I like hunting NH it's the hardest place to hunt but bigger body bucks are worth the wait
Why is it the hardest? I would’ve figured more wilderness in northern NE in general would give you more opportunity.
