Thank you for the informative video Lloyd Braun. I am watching hydrovac workers in front of my house right now, which brought me to this video. I have to go poo now.
I work as a hyrdo vac operator and I really like doing it. It is literally playing in mud. That truck is pretty small compared to the one I work with, but it is still super cool!
@@LeskoBrandon2x I don’t “want to live” in -40. I don’t think any right minded human being enjoys living in that shit. But I have no choice because that’s what our winters can be like.
Driving same as any vehicle. Problem you get is trying to keep the plumbing and pumps from freezing. Work with hydrovacers in just -25C is a struggle. -40 you have to spend a ton on fuel for heating, not to mention it is really hard on the equipment and crew. I demand hazard pay for anything below -25C.
very nice video and the commentary , I would like to suggest, as I can not wait, please instruct the crew team to wear PPE as one of the personnel was not wearing hard hat.. please follow safety procedures. thanks

Great video, thanks! I didn't know what hydrovacs did before
Под асфальтом есть слой брусчатки...... Интересные технологии!!!
Awesome!!
Thank you just started working for a company that does this
I just got hired with a hydrovac company today.. This video was really helpful
@@davezahayko9973 How do you like it? Considering making the switch from fuel tanker work.
Can I use parts of your video to show what Hydro excavation is?
Good vídeo.
These single axle units are the best! We’ve used them before in real tight spots. Only question I have is are they safe to run in -40 weather?
Why the fuck would you want to live somewhere where it’s -40 😂 no way Jose not this guy

@@albertaproud7855 you have a choice. I lived in -20 and that was enough to make me move south lol

@@dantruong2582 totally agree with you 100%
"whatever it is underground " root trees?
You can’t still damage the pipes coating!!!!
And even if you did it could be recoated easily. Much better than a damaged pipe spraying everywhere.
They are very loud ...
