Laundry hack that has changed my life - each person has a basket in their room, me and my husband share & each person has a day of the week where I was their laundry, towel, washcloth & bedding and it’s all put away so easy bc I know it all goes in one place! I have 3 kids and the my husband and myself so laundry is done Monday through Thursday and no laundry Friday through Sunday!

I LOVE this idea!!! Because one of the things I struggle with when doing laundry is the putting it away part hahah. I feel like I'm running all over the house.

@@fleurmumma7558 whenever! I let them collect up in a hamper in our laundry room and wash as needed! That doesn’t stress me out bc it’s a quick load to wash dry put away!

@@kaylanorris8334 same! That was the worst part sorting it then going all over putting it all away! All the socks that I had to sort 🙈

@@kaylanorris8334 Same here! But what has helped tremendously is decreasing our inventory! I highly recommend looking up The Minumal Mom about "Decreasing inventory or establishing a habbit."
For us, if there are too many clothes (inventory) in the drawers or closet taking up space where it's hard to know where things go and I have to re-shift everything before putting things away, then it can make that part of the job so much harder than necessary. I have 4 kids, am able to be a stay at home mom, and I homeschool them so there have to be systems in place so the home runs more smoothly. The having an assigned day for each person's laundry is so essential (13 and 11 y.o.'s do it independently, I help the 7 and 3 year old with theirs). They have only enough underwear to last 10 days, that's the limit that they have to stretch it if that's what they choose to do. If they miss their day, they run out of clothing and the natural consequence of waking up to no underwear is on them. What a great lesson to learn as a kid rather than as a young adult!

Thanks for another great video!! Loved it all, always feels like a treat when you have another one. I audibly said “ahh, yay!” When I saw it! 😂 You guys are simply my favorite, ever! SO encouraging & inspirational… Godly parents, taking care of yourselves spiritually, physically, mentally… high fives to you guys!! Those sweet babies are blessed to have you as parents, living to please God and love them & each other, intentionally. Keep up the great work!!
I too, would love a video on your healthy eating, I loved how Lucy was helping strain the kefir! 🥰 … It would be awesome to hear about recipes you grew up on, how you feel about all the advice out there (eating X amount of protein per day, fasting, etc!) Maybe Elisha could talk about his view of food/meals/Dads perspective. I feel as though food is so over-complicated these days - it truly takes up a lot of my mental space trying to “figure it out”. I did not grow up with a very balanced example and I’m trying to figure it out now so my kids have a good example. I’m 6 mo. Postpartum with #6 and the weight never seems to just “fall off/level off”. Anyways! Thanks again!! 🤍👏🏼

It is clearly evident that you truly love the Lord and seek to honor Him. Praying that He would continue to guide you and give you discernment as you raise your family and work in the ministry He has blessed you with. Love it! Thanks for sharing you guys- very inspirational! I’ve been getting up at 6 and working out for 20 min, reading the Bible and praying for 30 min and then going over my do to list. From the Get It All Done Club, I learned to prep the night before, so I write out my to do list then, get out my workout clothes, coffee, water, vitamins and book bag. I feel so ready to tackle the day when our 4 kids get up at 7! And I usually prep breakfast the night before so it’s easy peasy in the morn to cook or make. My laundry routine is clothing Mondays and Thursdays, Towels on Tuesdays and Sheets on Wednesdays. I try to start that up first thing too. Thanks again for this- I’ll definitely be taking some tips from this video!

Our four kiddos are all 3.5 years apart and it’s so fun but when we get to bed early at 9:30pm in order to get up 5:30am, that makes it trickier to have evening date special time. It must feel quite vulnerable to be too open in the Internet. People can be very judgemental and write nasty, overcritical comments. Maybe that is their way to protect their hearts. I know that nobody is perfect, nor do I expect someone to be. I don't idealize someone that appears put together, but appreciate the inspiration they can be for my life. I hope that makes sense, blessings ❤

How do you sleep train your babies? I’m torn on that decision because of recent studies and research saying they still wake up and need you/are in distress at night but learn not to signal/cry. It breaks my heart but I too am someone who wld love uninterrupted sleep, but that’s just a part of having kids 🤷🏽‍♀️ I find it hard believing that God says to have a lot of kids but also sleep train them and don’t have them sleep with you or be comforted by you, it’s just so confusing to me. He created them to be extra dependent right, idk? I look into things way too much as well lol

There are gentler ways of sleep training - look into it, do your research. I live in the U.K. and have paid a sleep consultant to help us sleep train our 5 month old. She was amazing, it was gradual and gentle. I don’t agree with cry it out but you can do a gradual withdrawal and your baby can learn to fall asleep independently

I don't like this trend of "vision or dream boards." It has its roots in the new age and I want no part in that. Sure, there's things my husband and I would like to see happen during the coming year, and we sometimes write those goals down. But ultimately, we want the Lord to direct our year, not us. You can't Christianise new age practices. 😕
