They have songs that are 7 minutes of pure instrumentals. Songs that start/end big&fast with slow/easy in the middle. With over 4 decades of hits, they have a lot for you to see. Bring us along for the ride.
I’ve seen Metallica around 7 times live starting in 1986 and have been a huge fan since about 1985. They are just perfection musically and lyrically. James writes lyrics in a way that is very personal to himself yet general enough for the listener to interpret them into themselves. Welcome to the Metallica family where all are welcome!
I live in Santa Fe! Welcome, Maggie Renee. I hope you’re enjoying your stay here. By the way, that intro that Kirk Hammett played was a piece of a Jimi Hendrix song called “Third Stone From The Sun” which is amazing in and of itself. Totally worth checking out on its own if you ever decide to check out 60s Psychedelic Rock. As for “Nothing Else Matters” I think you already know this is a terrific song. Hadn’t seen this live version so I’m grateful to see and hear it but, the official album version is just so emotional and gorgeous. If you haven’t already checked it out after hearing this version, it’s a must. Great reaction video. 🤘🏼🖤
Another good song that is performed by Merallica is The Unforgiven. There are 3 songs by Metallica that have the word "Unforgiven" in the title, and it is like a movie and it's sequels. The Unforgiven (from the Black Album), The Unforgiven II (from the Reload album), and The Unforgiven 3 (from the Death Magnetic album, which you might like like because the intro on the video is played on a piano), and it sounds considerably different than the original.
My father saw them live in Prague this summer for his Birthday. He said that they were incredible, even after all these years and that they were one of the best concerts he has been to.
Maggie: please, please, please perform with a metal band or Home Free some day! Your infectious personality and you operatic voice added would be great. Good luck on your Masters.
@@maggiereneemusic hello & Happy New Year. Voice Plays just came out with this cover of Nothing Else Matters on Friday 13th. They did it so so beautifully. It will bring tears to your eyes the way they sang it. Would you please do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover of it please ?
Onr of the things that drew me to Metallica was the absolute beauty of the guitar in some songs, like the opening to 'Fade to Black. ' Check out ' Outlaw Torn' from S&M. You'll get to hear a lot more range from James than normal. Plus it has the orchestra, making it even better.
I wish I would've known you were in Santa Fe. I would've loved to meet you and talk some music with you. I hope you enjoyed your time there. I always love your reactions! ❤️
Did you know that VOICEPLAY covered this song? 😳 And I’m here to tell ya that they slayyyyyyed it. Totally unexpected moment in it and the vocals. Egads. Check it out! Also... I have been a Metallica fan for yearssssss. 🤘🏻
This was at the Live8 or some kind of awareness concert which started with Genesis they went on 1st because they was playing Old Trafford football ground in Manchester that evening
I would be super grateful if you would react to Marc Martel performing Nessun Dorma as both Pavarotti AND Freddie Mercury (search for Marc Martel Mercurotti). It is one of the most magnificent things you will ever hear! Thank you!
Metallica is one of the greatest bands ever and have influenced bands of all genres. Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets. Are just a few more you need to check out
Loved this the first time round (both the song and your reaction / analysis), and it's just as good the second time. Can't really go wrong with Metallica!
Great performance. Love your reaction and analysis. I would love to someday be in that audience watching you on stage. But no electric guitar, Dolly's feelings would be hurt. Also you are not allowed to be dingaloid unless it is EXTRA dingaloid. 🎸
Nothing Else Matters - This song has been adopted by my girlfriend and I, as our song. Hopefully this spring she will become my fiancée. Please consider doing a reaction to the cover of this one by Voice Play. Thanks.
I can't believe you said 'reactioning"...lol... If ya want to check out their thrashiest tune... try Listening to Dyers Eve... totally worth the listen
Love this song. Haven't seen it live before and found it difficult to make out the words. Which is something I find important. I need to know what is being sung.. So personally I prefer the recorded version.
I can't watch this... 30years+- after the first release of the original... It's just not the same power passion energy or dynamic... The official video is, light years better...✌
Deserved lack of viewers , compared to couple of yrs ago and it's legit ; many other and better female reactors did start doing great and pro analysis and they don't as money to react to singers .
I’m sorry, but i can not stand old song in the recent live..it’s egual looking play michael jordan and basket now..michael jordan it’s looking the play 80’s and 90’s years OLD SONGS AND OLDS LIVE SHOW

Yes!!! Their instrumental songs are pure classic music! I always say that Beethoven would be considered metal if he was creating their music today!
Orion
This song has so many more intricate details in James's vocals on the studio recording.
Elton John said that this song is a perfectly written piece of classical
Music. James got emotional during that interview.
in the youtube search bar, search "howard stern, metallica, elton john" there's an interview where elton brings James to tears talking about this song

Tell me a bad song by Metallica..... well, then there is Battery....which I always thought was Manta Ray.
They also did a concert in Antarctica making them the only performers to play on all 7 continents.
Its porbably been posted before, but Metallica in moscow 1989, thats the jam, best video EVER!
My father saw them live in Prague this summer for his Birthday. He said that they were incredible, even after all these years and that they were one of the best concerts he has been to.
