I’ve been saying the same thing since his 1st podium interview. He’s sharp as a tac. As a St Louis Rams fan. He’s creating a culture with Les I’m proud of. Go Rams
What I took away from this interview is how articulate Sean is. He answered every question leaving zero confusion! He could have a career in keynote speaking or sports commentary if he wanted 💯 Another dope interview fellas!
How can you not love the Pivot?! This show allows every guest to be seen and perceived in a different light. The guests always feel comfortable with RC, Fred, and Channing to naturally be themselves and speak with transparency, honesty, and vulnerability.
I see why Sean Mcvay moved up to head coach quicker than anybody else ever has in NFL history. His attention to detail, charisma, and the way he presents himself is remarkable. I’m only 23 but his social awareness and ability to talk with anyone in the room with such substance in every word just oozes from the screen. I hope I’m able to talk like this one day especially in interview settings 😂
Exactly. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging facts. Especially for in his situation because he can be like "I definitely have had opportunities that not everyone has, but I've made the most of each one too and not everyone does that either."
The Rams are my team. I grew up in L..A. when they were there until 1994 & was overjoyed when they came back to L.A. in 2016. Coach Sean McVay has been the best Coach the Rams have ever had as far as I'm concerned. And not only has he taken us to the SuperBowl in 2019 but we won in 2021. I love everything about that.
As a Rams fan since the original LA RAMS, McVay is such an asset. To hear him say last year he wasn’t the coach he knew he could be, spoke volumes. Realism is important. I respected this man and was so great full for 2021 but now it’s even more.
Love how he asks all three of them what they did to motivate themselves. He is genuinely interested in other people and always looking for chances to learn. That is per of what makes him great!
The humble approach he takes to his craft, and the amount he cares about others makes me absolutely love this dude a thousand times more than I already did. Not even a Rams fan, but damn that's a hell of a coach and one hell of a human.
I’m a NFL fan! Specifically Cardinals and Browns due to where I lived, but this dude is so inspiring. Listening to him vs current Browns coach Kevin Stefanski is night and day! Good luck to 2023 Browns though.
Coach Mcvay Awesome 👌 from Quality Control Coach In Washington To Head For the Rams 🐏 SuperBowl Winner 🏆 Incredible Journey Hats off To Coach Mcvay !!!!!!!🙌🏾💪🏿👍🏿💙💯 ....
Another great interview. The OG's know how to ask the right questions and let the conversation flow. McVay was amazing as well. I literally look forward to these every Tuesday and Friday.
This is why the pivot is so important! I already loved mcvay as a signal caller now I realise how much of dope guy he is! Nothing but respect for Sean he will be in the nfl for a longtime. Big up the pivot guys too great episode.
I hope the rest of the country can see why this man became a ROLE MODEL for me when he took that rams job. I still watch the introductory presser with him and Les and you could tell then and there that if this dude can coach like he can talk and inspire…… we are gonna be fine 🔥 Love this coach so much.
Going from a coach that had no passion and repeated himself in every interview to now having THIS man. I knew something good was coming from the hire but he exceeded all our expectations. So happy to have you as our head coach Mcvay !
Its funny Mcvay would not stop talking and at one point RC thought he was done turned to walk away, and Sean started talking again and RC looked around like did anybody see me. Lol
In 1999, ESPN picked the Rams to finish dead last in their division. Las Vegas gave them the HIGHEST odds (3500 -1) to win the title. Out of every sports team to every win a title, the 99 Rams were LEAST expected to win a championship, let alone do it with a backup QB who wasn't even drafted and who had spent his time in the arena league. If ANY team can shock the crap out of some people, it is THIS team. In fact, they're KNOWN for doing things that NO one expects them to do. Few things make me happier than watching the "experts" eat crow as the Rams defy every convention and every ODDS maker.
Anyone who was in STL in 99 remembers the Domino's story. The Rams were a shit team for a few years before that. Domino's had a deal where every touchdown the Rams scored, the price of Pizza reduced by like $0.99. The greatest show on turf was that year and the Rams were scoring 4,5 touchdowns per games. Guys in STL were buying pizza for $2-3. Domino's deliveries were highest when the Rams played. Absolutely insane.
Such an amazing interview! Mcvay is amazing at understanding the opportunities he got early on and cherishing and taking advantage of them! And his ability to communicate is what makes him so successful
Been a Ram fan since 1973. Been waiting for a Sean McVay without realizing it my entire time as a Ram fan. Will never take having this guy as the head coach of my team for granted. Great interview.
I'm a life long Rams fan. I thank the football Gods every day for bringing us Coach McVay. What an all around humble and awesome man. Just subscribed to The Pivot. I think you guys do an awesome job.

Cowboys fan here...I personally have been looking up to McVay for years, his age and his accomplishments that speak for themselves is truly inspirational. And I bring up the team only because this goes well past the locker room in the realm of leadership and maximizing opportunity by being a Lion amongst the crowd.
Its funny hearing him talk because you can almost hear “the gruden” in him lol. I know he isn’t a gruden, but he really sounds like a younger John at times.
Jaycee Horn, top ten pick. Joe horn went from a late round pick out of a JUCO in MS to a pro bowl player, the greatest TD celebration of all time, barely missed a Super Bowl because he went to Atlanta to play with Vick but Vick got arrested, and last but not least Joe got caught up in the NFL health care fraud case. That would be a great interview
Amazing interview as always, McVay is the goat. Glad to be a Rams fan. Aaron Donald interview would be dope or even Marshall Faulk. He can talk about spygate and how the GSOT was predicted to finish dead last the year they blew up and won it all...the McVay hire dinner too.
When the Rams made the decision to pay Todd Gurley, and he got injured the way he did. That’s what ended RB’s getting paid. And McVay is on record saying the Rams will never pay another RB because of that situation, and the rest of the NFL teams followed suit.
He is not forgotten there's a reason why Sean McVay brought him back for for a day so he can retire a ram like Sammy they said he is a student of the game and he Geeks out over it so he knows what kind of person Steven Jackson was and is
I knew that coach and Channing played high school football against each other..my son played both schools and Marist High was the shit on the football field and still is! Great interview!
McVay is literally one of the greatest speakers, period. He’s a sharp dude. Those Rams have a pillar in their hands 💯
I’ve noticed the coaches in pro sports always give better interviews than the players 😅
I’ve been saying the same thing since his 1st podium interview. He’s sharp as a tac. As a St Louis Rams fan. He’s creating a culture with Les I’m proud of. Go Rams
Idk he was kinda long winded to me but I ain’t mad at nobody for being tuned in
Very sharp and stand up coach.
@@SCBB24 Oh he’s DEFINITELY long winded lol. But not in an annoying way for me 🤣
What Sean does better than anyone I’ve ever seen is use people’s names while talking to them.
Yeah, especially in press conferences lol
Facts bro my man is sharp af I forget ppls names not even 10 seconds after meeting them 😂
Yeah you can tell he's conditioned himself to do that. A quality I have trouble with myself, but I've always respected it.
I just love how all 3 of you interview your guests. You work off one another so well. Respect
What I took away from this interview is how articulate Sean is. He answered every question leaving zero confusion! He could have a career in keynote speaking or sports commentary if he wanted 💯

It is very impressive can’t lie
How can you not love the Pivot?! This show allows every guest to be seen and perceived in a different light. The guests always feel comfortable with RC, Fred, and Channing to naturally be themselves and speak with transparency, honesty, and vulnerability.
Oke of the Main reasons why i havent watcher a debate show in yrs
That impromptu conversation at the end -- with four OGs standing around and chopping it up -- is why the Pivot is undeniable.
I like how humble coach is with how he reflects on his experiences that led to a super bowl
I see why Sean Mcvay moved up to head coach quicker than anybody else ever has in NFL history. His attention to detail, charisma, and the way he presents himself is remarkable. Exactly. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging facts. Especially for in his situation because he can be like "I definitely have had opportunities that not everyone has, but I've made the most of each one too and not everyone does that either."
The best in the NFL coach still don’t get enough respect for putting my rams back on the map…. shout out to all the real Ram fans🏆🏆 💛💙

Pulled the rams out of the dark ages… back when 8-8 was good lol… go rams

Agree! Love this kid. We are so lucky to have him.
I have much respect for Sean McVay, he is intellectual, competitive, articulate, passionate and hard working. Best of luck in 2023!
Cool ass Humbled dude. No attitude at all..All people in life should act like him..👏👏
As a lifetime Ram fan this interview was a treat ! Love you guys at the pivot !
Love how he addresses each one by name. Dope show

That has moved up to one of my favorite Pivot interviews of all time. Last 5 minutes was 🔥!
