Now he’s the head coach of my Atlanta Falcons. First official black head coach for the franchise 💪🏾. Should’ve hired him after 2020. He’s the epitome of a leader of men 💯
Nah Ryan made me proud he was pressing on those head coach question issues. He asked the hard questions and stuck to it even though it was his friend and it was on camera. Pure respect! ✊🏾
Yea the convo got weird cuz they wanted him to say something he didn't want to admit to. And then said I'm Rich I'm White 😬 cringe moment. He should have just said look fellas I can't say something that could make a owner not want to hire me to coach a team
Class act and a good cultural fit for Atlanta .. we need our QB and I can tell how he speaks the team will listen and receive and Gel together well. Let’s Go Falcons 🔥💯🔴⚫️
I would love if the pivot did 3 specials where each of the host is the special guest along with another guest host for the episode who was a important feature/influence in their career at the time. So Ryan, Fred and Channing get an episode each where they get their flowers and their career, highlights, escapades, and legacies are the topic of discussion. 🥰
Sounds redundant when they've already spoken on their legacy in the show and always making a reference to their achievements and people that have helped them along the way. I see no need for it.
I respect a man who drops jewels and yet still protect his chickens. He has a family to feed. Great episode again. The Pivot is killing it. No hate all love here. I want everybody to shine.
As it should be every one plays there role, a lot of times we ask too much of people that we wouldn't do, like you said appreciate the knowledge but we also have to acknowledge they system we all fall up under
I get it , he chooses his words wisely and kudos to him . But it makes me respect and applaud those who say F it and speak on the truth because it takes a lot of courage. And the truth is not a secret we all witness it
What's funny is that in the game that Fred talks about at 16:34, he had 20 carries for 128 yd and 3 TDs (along with 68 receiving yds). Fred was unreal.
I love The Pivot.....everyone looks like they are truly enjoying it. There is nobody trying to dominate the show, screaming and yelling. This is a top 3 show for me.
I'm glad Raheem redeemed himself and got himself back into the conversations of being a head coach in this league because he had a raw deal on his first take but I'm glad he's enjoying fruits of his labor with the brothas of PIVOT!! SALUTE FAMILY!!
I love how this podcast really shows how important coordinators and guys that don’t exactly get the spotlight like players/head coaches are to a team’s success. Favorite podcast just after a few episodes keep doing what you guys are doing! Would love to see Randy Moss on the podcast too
Man….this episode really showed Coach’s personality, which the media never showed while he was a head coach. I would have loved to have played for Morris and coach under him. Great interview! 💪🏾🔥
Raheem Morris in the most strategic elegant mannerism told them, "you got me fucked up. I'm not messing up my bread to justify your perspective." I enjoyed the interview, but Raheem is no fool. He's still working for the NFL...he's not retired like these cats. He isn't allowed to genuinely speak his thoughts at the moment. Overall, amazing interview.
I think he basically said, but indirectly, "yes there's an issue with owners having bias with hiring head coaches and that needs to be addressed BUT at the same time, we can't act like the guys who did get the jobs are all bad coaches, they worked hard for this too. Respect to all the coaches, but there's an issue with owner biases for sure"
When he said look I am white. There’s nothing else you can say after that. That means he’s not going to ruin his wealth for a black cause. Which he has every right to feel that way. I may disagree but I’m not him. He has to live with his decision. I personally understand why he would take the safest path. Not every black person is built like Malcolm and Martin. That’s why those 2 men are great men. The rest of us are just men.
MAN!!! Pivot did two interviews at the same time and the second one was off the cuff!!! WHAT!!! Like these guys are so talented at what they do, that it comes off as second nature. Love this group.
This interview was a master class in speaking alot without saying nothing at all.. My man's wasn't falling for none of the bait, but was respectful as can be.
@@biozio186 absolutely, which I mean I understand the guys wanting Raheem to be 💯 but I also understand him and his desire to be a head coach again. There is no way you want to risk your livelihood. I really hate it has to be like that. I keep wondering and asking what would happen if all the players who wanted things to be inclusive all decided to not play until things change. Like the Missouri team that said they wouldn’t play until their president stepped down. He stepped down fast!
He’s trying to not sound like a salty cop out when he talks about his Tampa stint. I get what he’s doing, you have to be amiable for these owners. I personally can’t be a sycophant for anybody. I’m not saying it’s wrong though, do what you have to do. I think they should respect people’s differences and not try to puppet them.
Never heard Raheem open up like that, solid dude man, and he will coach again. Can’t be overstated enough, but it’s criminal these dudes are not getting head coaching opportunities
This podcast kept a smile on my face the entire time! I also LOVED the visible reverence and how hard the guys we're trying to get Raheem to stop saying "safe responses",regarding his career. Loved this episode and looking forward to the merch drop!

I love this "You ain't seen a white man play like me." 🤣🤣 Eric Weddle is awesome. The Pivot is the best show.
Yeah... I always looked at weddle a bit harder when he was coming out of Fresno State.... His play at safety wasn't plain or vanilla
Harrison Smith is the only one that can kinda compare to Weddle and its a wide chasm. Weddle can hit and play the ball.

I love the chemistry between you three. Crowder is one of my favorite people in the world! Everyone needs a friend like Crowder lol
Warrick Dunn would be another great guest for the show.
This is a very underrated comment! 🔥💪🏾

The NFL needs an award in his name to honor the works of former players outside of football.
