Awesome build and setup. I have a wotg and a new FP sling. I like the first one a lot so I went with two. But my only use was plinking and dry fire practice. After taking my first class, my wotg sling just kept digging into my neck. I now went with a graves solutions sling. It is pretty minimal with a minimal pad. It does not adjust as easy as the wotg one though
Nice set up man. I ain't a long distance shooter but a buddy of mine is and he said that's a good build. I love railscales. I have an Anchor and some rails on my DDM4v11. I have an LDAG on my MK18. They make great stuff.
Gonna use a clip on night vision in front of the scope? Slightly saddened you didn't shoot it with the can. ;) I recently turned my old Rock River carbine to something like this. It currently has an ACOG ACSS. Recently got my can approved and prefer to shoot it whenever possible.
Thanks for your excellent video and the other videos as well 👍. Have you ever veged up with a Ghillie and practiced stalks. If so, a Ghillie video would be very much welcomed 🤘
I would like to see more videos around DMR setups! What ammo are you using? Do you have any 6.5 Creedmoor rifles or will you be picking one up in the future?
I feel like a 6mm ARC upper would preform so much better in this role, shoots a lot flatter, holds more ke over longer range, slight and fits 556 lower
It would, for a civilian or small PD. For the US military, the logistics complication of fielding a different CALIBRE round is not inconsequential. And is not worth it.
Grendel is superior. Arc is just a new trend. A 123 grain bullet at 2600 fps from a grendel has 35% more energy at 1000 yards the the best ARC round. The arc is slightly better at bucking the wind, but not enough to warrant the drop in energy.
Thanks for the video... As I see you did this video a while ago, have you modified or changed anything? What ammo (projectile grains, company, and actual bullet selection) are you using? Do you reload for your precision rifle? What chamber(.223, 223 Wylde, or 5.56) and twist did you select per the aforementioned? Thanks again... Sorry I didn't get to meet you at Shooter's Symposium in 2021... I look forward to taking your weaponized geometry when you run through Savannah. And, thank you for your service!
Nice setup. I need to get a clip on NVD for mine. Are you running 20rd mags? I find they help streamline the rifle's profile and reloading while prone. What weight/ammo are you shooting?
@Kinetic Consulting Can you put together something for a CQB / Fast Target Acquisition rig build. I just picked up a new POF Renegade+ 556 10.5" pistol and I'd like to build it for such. Thanks bro! 👍
I watched this and the LPVO video. Wondering what you could recommend to look for in terms of magnification for a DMR/SPR? I was thinking 3x - 18x but that might be overkill at the top end of 18x magnification for 5.56. Appreciate your thoughts.
@@KineticConsulting lol... You're in Miami, my typical luck. I had to retire from DOD to move to JAX, to take care of my mom. I wish I knew about your training, while I was there. My brother is still down there, he's Sgt of Ft Lauderdale PD. He is/was a weapons trainer, not sure if he's still doing it.
At 1x, scope shadow is significantly worse than my Trijicon 1-4x Accupower and reticle is just big enough to be usable for targets inside 25 yds. Weight is superb for magnification at this price point. Resolution is good, not great. I'll probably end up selling and moving up to a PA GLX 2.5-10x.
To this day idk this mans background. Hispanic, Indian, Arab? - P.s. im hispanic just curious this man has the blood of all sorts of different nations.
Long range shooting its like golf but for men
I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that when pulling out my gear

First! Definitely it has it purpose of reaching out and touch, sharing the same caliber and magazines of other team mates.
Tie shock cord to the two bipod legs so that you have a grab handle and allows for quick and pain free deployment.
Can't go wrong with a Craddock barrel. They do awesome work.

I haven't. I'm not a sniper nor did I do that in the military.
@@KineticConsulting But you are as meticulous as a Sniper, for sure. Looking forward, if I make it out alive, attending the geometry class some day 😊
I'm thinking of building a SPR/Recon rifle with an SR15 18" LPR base and the new Vortex 1-10x and maybe an offset micro red dot
As a LPR owner, if I had it to do over again I'd go with a 18" JP. Maybe even a KD4 spec BCM uppers.
I'm a fan of 16in and more magnification if possible
Nice rifle - a well thought out build.
Such awesome information. Thanks!

I like your build, definitely the barrel, I went with JP Riles. I put up a video to let me know what you think??
If a suppressor wasn't an option, would you still use that surefire over a brake?
Good video and good set up! Maybe shoot it in a future video? Good work
dude, love these videos

I am thinking about setting one up just like this…

I have my rifle setup video with my 10.5

I love the 3x18. I think it's perfect.
No such thing as overkill...
I think the opening title says the wrong thing, great video man
Shit man, you're right. 🤣 Left my template on there. I'll see if I can fix it and re-upload the video.
Looking to get into a 30 cal can... Sig 762, rugged surge, or surefire?
Len Seppanen surefire is king for rock solid mounting and minimal if any poa/poi shifts.
@@Richardjohnson6969 i read their customer service isn't very great
Len Seppanen I’ve never needed it.

6:06 pshoow!
Is it a normal service for Leupold to take a scope in and replace the reticle?
Not sure if they do it anymore. Worth a call
What’s the brand on that shooting mat?
Just a comfy one off amazon
nice rifle
Great video, what distances you shooting this setup?
Out to 800
What bullet are you using for that distance and what size target?
@@artofwar1776 usually 77gr otm from blackhills. They vary but at the farther distances, most are b/c size
Yeah, I think Blackhills uses a Sierra MK. Love that bullet.
How do u like that stock on the fence of getting one
I like it a lot. Very versatile
Fits just on a mil spec buffer tube ?
@@bencardenas7524 yup
What’s the length of your rail? Also, I just purchased a 5 x 25 x 56 Arken optic. Is that over doing it?
I believe it's either 13-14in can't remember. I have a different rifle now. 5-25 is definitely over doing it.
Recommend 3x-18 (or close to it). I heard 18x can just hit 1000yds without trouble. Should be more than sufficient for mid-long range.
@@KineticConsulting I agree with the Tremor 3. Anxious to try it out. Hearing good things!

Sometimes, when I get nervous, I stick my hands under my armpits and than I smell them like this! Superstar!
Why 16" over 18" or 20"?
Because I can Suppress it and still reach out pretty far
What kind of clip on are you using?
What clip are you talking about?

Yes
Kinetic Consulting Trail Glades or Homestead Training Center?

I noticed alot of people don’t use ADM lowers
I've been happily using mine for the last six years. That bolt release/catch is real slick.
They’re the only lowers I buy. I’m a big fan of the mechanics
Lol bro you forget to change the title of the video in the beginning, it still says bridged or articulating NVGs. But very nice video besides that!
Yeah lol. That's my template I forgot to change

it is 16 inch, he says at 3:02
