- Adding Cruise Control to the Mahindra 2638 HST Tractor can make for much more comfortable operation. When operating for long times, holding the HST pedal to the floor can really tire out your leg quickly.

The single best addition to my tractor! Esp when grading my mile long gravel road! My leg used to ache before this!
@@MountainLaurelMetalworks does the switch lock into place or does it pop back into place? locking or momentary? My switch does not lock..wondering if that is why mine wont work.
Mine is a momentary switch. the unit uses a relay to engage the electromagnet. This is how the cruise auto-disengages when you hit the brake. If your switch does not stay engaged, it's possible the brake sensor is not working correctly. Are you using the Mahindra kit or some other? If you want to post a video question, I'd be happy to look at it and compare it to mine.
@@MountainLaurelMetalworks the packaging says Mahindra-TYM.
The only thing I can think of is a bad connection / connector (bent pin, damaged, etc) or a connector not fully seated. There were only a couple of connections, so it should be pretty easy to track down. Without seeing the installation, I can only speculate.
May i use that kit for my TYM 394 HST Tractor? What is the price of that? That should be wonderfull if so.
That would be hard to say, TYM, Mahindra and RK brand all use the same basic chassis, but there could be variances. Does TYM have one available? It's probably worth checking with a TYM parts dealer. I purchased this from a Mahindra parts supplier. I'm sure you could purchase one and try. Depending on the return policy of your local Mahindra dealer, maybe you could return it if it does not work.
Mine don't work
That stinks! It's a lag saver for sure! I just graded 1 mile of gravel and that used to have my leg trembling afterward. This cruise saves the day for sure.
Mine doesnt either. Just installed Saturday 4/29.
