Push by Matchbox Twenty - Acoustic Cover by Sutikapu!

Push was written by Rob Thomas, the lead vocalist of Matchbox Twenty. It tells the story of a tumultuous relationship from his past. Inspired by a high school girlfriend who vindictively ended their relationship by donating his clothes to charity. With limited resources, Rob relied on the generosity of local bands who supported him by providing t-shirts and other items. As a result, he spent the following months wearing various band t-shirts, which became a defining aspect of his personal journey.
In an interview, Rob revealed the true essence of "Push" by explaining, "I was actually writing about my own experiences. It reflected a time when I felt manipulated by someone, but instead of portraying myself as a victim, I decided to shift the perspective and depict myself as the one doing the manipulation. The song became an expression of my desire to assert control and take someone for granted."
