You’ve probably heard some traders say, “Buying breakouts doesn’t work”. That’s true to an extent. You can’t just buy any breakout. You’ve got to have the right setup - a high-probability setup.
Remember, patterns often repeat! Tune into the video for a chart example with Genetic Technologies Limited (NASDAQ: $GENE).
Criteria number one? The stock should have a history of running. History may not repeat, but it does rhyme.
You also need to keep an eye on the liquidity. Remember, you need the ability to get in and out of the stock quickly. Big volume attracts more traders, and that can create those big moves.
There’s a key component here: news. Companies love to jump on hot sectors. Tune in to find out what to look for in press releases - and how traders latch on.
What else do you need to watch for? Multi-month breakouts - support and resistance levels are key here.
And the last piece of the puzzle is that afternoon VWAP hold high of day (HOD) break on unusual volume. Watch the video for Bohen’s explanation on how that can give you confirmation … and why you want to see that U-shaped volume like in the $GENE chart. It can help you determine your entry.
Remember, always be skeptical of these low-priced stocks. They aren’t meant for long-term holds. So if the setup comes together, know how to ride the move.

The VWAP break with volume is something I love to watch for. But the key levels is something I seem to have issues with.

Would u hold AHT overnight?
Jan.-Feb. 2021, BNGO ran from (where I got in at .51 in Jan.) ran to $15.69 by Feb 12, in less than 6 weeks, But I got out in 3 stages. Up $25,000.00 in 6 weeks. Had I traded it perfectly, I could have walked with $60,000.00 and more! When will it run again? Currently around 0.69-0.70.

How important would you say relative volume to the first spike is? I get why former runners can run again but I also worry about longer-term bag holder's from the first spike if there's less volume.
