- The House On The Rock (HOTR) INFINITY ROOM. Perched in the thin air above the forests of southwestern Wisconsin. A stunning piece of iron, wood and glass that strikes a peaceful balance with the beauty of the forest below.
When I visited as a child, I jumped towards the end and the whole thing moved up and down a little very fast. Startled an old overweight farmer, and earned me possibly my first look of hatred from a stranger. I now am 41 and would probably be the one giving the looks!
Cool place, I hope to go back with my kids sometime.
My family and I visited when I was like 10 years old. It scared the shit outta me and I look forward to going back as an adult. I made it halfway down the infinity room. Luckily, you are not REQUIRED to walk the corridor to complete the tour.
You need two days to really take it all in.
Went there today for the first time, I’m terrified of hights but I made it all the way to the lookout I was so scared but proud :P
