Having Edwards as the second back really will give the advantage to Edwards. He is a finesse runner and should break some good runs once Mullings has softened up the line.
Edward’s can still be one of the best backs in the nation this year. There’s a few minor adjustments I feel he could make. I notice when he’s running in between the tackles his pad level is way too high. He needs to bring those shoulders down and keep his head up., this will help his vision and balance. I’d really like to see him run more violently through that line so he can break tackles more often pop it outside and be the Don that we all know and love. Wouldn’t be a bad idea lining him up in the slot, this would cause mismatch nightmares for the defense.
Michigan passing offense is not on Orji. The OL got a pass block grade of 18 (out of 100). Evan Link got a pass block grade of ZERO. No QB is going to thrive in that situation. First thing is they need to figure out the Center and swap Link for Gentry, then figure things out as they did last year after PSU. I think they will get there, hopefully by the Oregon game. Orji, as long as he doesn’t turn the ball over, he’s still the #1 option. He’s not Denard but teams have to account for him running. His passing will improve with more reps and better pass blocking. Getting Loveland back would be a plus. I see 2021 Cade with wheels as the goal for the passing offense. The team has a chance to be as good as the ‘21 team if they keep working on the pass pro.
100%! Take a look at Alex's incompletions last game, out the endzone when nobody is open, a little over on a deep route where the wr is held a bit, two while on the run because there is barely any pass pro, and hits guys in the hands. The 5th I don't recall. Good decisions, I'll take it, line needs to improve drastically.
Like what do you want him to say? "Yeah, Donovan is bum and Kalel just stole his job. Idc how my players feel out there, screw their confidence. I will throw anyone under the bus any chance I get. As soon as Kalel has a rough stretch, I'll be sure to shut him down too." What player wants to play for that guy?

Good point 👉

Have orji throw the ball 1000 times in practice with the blitzing he seen Saturday and more

@@MrPlosh ah finally, the voice of reason! I agree. He throws a good ball, just needs more in-game reps. He'll be OK.
Please put Mullings and Edwards on the field at the same time, please 🙏🏻?
They could be saving that for ohio
Just keep winning! 🏆
Go Blue.
Coach is kind of gaslighting the fans by not addressing the obvious (e.g., Mullings needs to start, need a much better passing game, etc.)
Huh? He literally said that they will have that discussion as an offense. Do you not understand what that means?

Don’t need a better passing game if the run works 🤷🏼 this is football not madden. You don’t need to pass for 750 yards and 10 touchdowns
Sharon Moore like a superbeta
How long before teams scheme for run only? This QB issue is a major problem as we move forward.
Teams have already been doing it for almost 3 years now, what are you worried about?
That started week 1, where you been?
Teams literally do that already? How’d it work for Penn State last year?
@@jamescooper3324 you cannot be serious comparing this O-line to last year? 😂
@@ATLTonyThis line will get better.
