Gorgeous. I remember when this song was released. I adore the whole of Babe Rainbow, but this track especially. Saw the latest incarnation of the band playing live last November and they played this, I was floating on a cloud for days.
Heard this gem one early morning 2:00 am or so from someone broadcasting radio from a basement 1990’s he would play entire CD’s\LP’s. This song got me hooked to HoL, bought nearly their entire catalogue. Popular band in Britain hardly known in the U.S. 🎼🎸❤️
They really are overlooked cos they knew how to right proper songs a la " Girl with the..." , " I don't know why I love you " ?, " Beatles and The Stones " ---- but the peel session is the best version, really fckg good. Deserve more credit , all u hear is Shine On -- the very worst release sells the most-- well it just proves most ppl are idiots "Follow like sheep in a wolves clothes " Maybe one day eh...It's criminal for songs by The Liars/ Sweet Exorcist now) not to be so well known, guess cos they are interesting ,best songwriters/lyricists and melodic like "Paperboy" ,"
