Such a great game I love all your videos on AoF! Always great narration and story telling. The beast men vs rat men are by far my favorite battles you have. Thank you for creating such amazing stories and content!!
So, this is my first time viewing your channel. TY for such a narrative battle report! I will be subscribing and viewing the others in this series. Also, GREAT job with the interlocking foam mats... I never thought of that, but i like it! Definitely going to watch the making of video(s) for them! Keep up the good work! And thanks again!
That was quite the battle! It was a very close and hard-fought battle, especially with all of those brutes carving a bloody swath through the ratmen, though they fought exceptionally bravely. I get the feeling Dr. Ratnik's trials are only just beginning, with grievous wounds and a lost of patronage (and thus protection) to contend with. Though he is rather crafty and canny and hard to kill in the fact of overwhelming odds, which will no doubt serve him well in his recovery from this setback.
A great game and a great video. First of all, I am very jealous of your white tents, they look really good. On the game, I think that caltrops roll was very influential, and that blue ratman warrior was a real mvp. Again, very entertaining, congratulations.
Cheers Vitor! The tents are from Mantic's Terrain Crate range: www.manticgames.com/terrain-crate/military-campsite/ I got them as part of the Kickstarter, many years ago. The caltrop roll was disappointing, but I think the areas of grass worked well enough as a "soft" chokepoint even without the threat of being trapped. Not that the Beastmen minded being funneled into a meat grinder.... 😆
Just started to get into OPR last night, decided to youtube some game play and stumbled upon your channel. Amazing work, and seeing the pop up with the dice rolls, quality and defense numbers really helps understand the game. Now to wait on my printer so I can test out a skirmish myself.
So 3 games of rats vs beast, in all cases the beastmen loose. Yeah dice RnG is one thing, but at that point one has to start wondering about balance. Thanks for the videos though, keep up the good work!
Cheers Myrdin! Yeah, the ratmen have a heck of a lot of tools and nasty special rules that punish the far simpler beastmen. Especially pre-nerf poison.
I did want that blue Ratman to live, glad he made it.
The guy deserved to live so I'm glad he made it as well!
really enjoy all your games. Thank you for all you do are doing.
Cheers James, I'm glad to hear it!

Cheers Robert! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying them!
I'm glad the "good" Doctor survived.
He certainly got lucky! It was looking like it might have run out at a couple of points!
What a finale! Awesome game! Looking forward to more of these short stories that give additional glimpses into your world.
Cheers Nils, glad you enjoyed them!

And I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the video and hope you enjoy the others too.

The Brutes are very well named! But muscle wasn't quite enough in the face of genius!😂
Great narrative game always an excellent watch
Cheers Darrin! I'm pleased you enjoyed it.

Great Battle report as always! Looking forward to seeing if the Ratmen dare return to challenge the Beastfolk again!
Cheers Oliver! I'm sure they will be much better prepared next time... hopefully they'll bring more caltrops!
Been looking forward to this :)
It took way to long to put together! Stupid life getting in the way!
What a great game!
It was certainly down to the wire!

Cheers mate! I'm glad to help out!
wow that was a close battle!
Certainly was! Teetering on a knife's edge!
Where are these miniatures from?
They are 3D prints from One Page Rules.
Well that was a frickin' cool series
Cheers mate! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Felt so bad for the beastmen. They were just trying to defend their homes 😢
Yeah, rough luck for the old Beastmen!
So 3 games of rats vs beast, in all cases the beastmen loose.
