I'm heading up to Loch Linnhe tomorrow Dimitrios. hoping I can still catch a few species on light tackle and lures. watched a few of your videos and I'm looking forward to it. As always great videos :-)
Dimitrios Chariskos, thank you very much. I'm on the look out for deeper marks mate and I was told it's good fishing at the Castle near the connel bridge? I fancied somewhere a bit quieter to be honest :-)
Brian McGrath never tried there. For Etive I prefer the north side at Bonawe and further up. Don't think you'll find any sort of crowd this time if year..lol
Hi Dimitrios, I am staying at at Linnhe Lochside right now but i cant seem to catch any fish. Any good fishing spots you know I can go to? Or maybe some tips for bait. It would be great to catch some fish at the camping side . Thank you. Chris
HelioraMusic Hey pal tbh it's still early in the year at least for lures.. you could try the slates and at Kentallen but considering the cold winter we've had, I reckon it'll be May before the fishing fires up. You could give loch Etive a go at Bonawe though as it's a better winter spot. All the best
Dimitrios Chariskos. Hey thanks. I figured it might still be to cold. The slates are at loch Leven right? You need a permit for fishing there? Still hard to figure out where the slates are.
Dimitrios Chariskos. Hi there. Thanks for pointint me this spot. Today I went there. The turn left is quite tricky. I parked and there was a bench at the water where my wife and daughter sat. We spent there 1.5 hours. We rained wett and I didn't catch anything. Tried some bait on the bottom a few meters out which cost me some gear and spend time with lures. No catch but wow, what an environment. We even saw some dolphins? swimming there. Thanks again and we love Scotland.
