Do you really want to know why people are so negative? As a rule, they have nothing in their lives to focus on so they become negative. In so doing, they just continue that cycle of negativity. Also, they can hide behind the anonymity of the web, internet, whatever you want to call it. Just because they are negative about everything, doesn't mean they can suck us into their little world.
Many of us know a much more soothing and poignant version that gives listeners a chance to reflect as the words of Frost's poem reflect of simpler times when we could sit in the rocking chair and unwind to a slower tempo, from whatever the day was like. Lauren provides a brisk tempo and passion with a message, but any dislike is not likely jealousy as that would be a foolish assumption. I was expecting the words of Robert Frost from his poem that provides food for thought as people encounter crossroads, or that "fork in the road" in their lives. Which path to take or forge your own. I did not mark a "Like" or "Dislike" as hearing loss has not allowed be to hear all of her words. To put it a different way, I was expecting the speed or tempo of a gondola but got three rides on a cigar boat and still couldn't pick up on all of her words. Are some of those "negative person" going to jump on my for my disability? They would be those professional "dislikes" or "No's" on most everything!
Without going through Lauren Alaine's version again, today, I listened to my late sister's friend George Straight. I love his version, but a person can love two similar things at once. No doubt it would not take memories of my sister to listen to George sing this again. For me,, I sang the Frost poem version with my high school a cappella choir 52 years ago. As I research my family history, I can only imagine decisions they made before and since my earliest DNA ancestor some 790 years ago. Either song is a reflection in or of one's own heart. There is not truth outside of it, unless you love, too!

I love this song it makes me think of my beautiful 14 year old daughter. My daughter is bullied because she doesn't fit the typical mold this song sets a powerful message to young people its OK to be different we are not all the same embrace it and dont let anyone tear you down or tell you your not perfect as you are. Trust in yourself believe in yourself love yourself. I will be playing this for my daughter xx

You've got to love the maturity level of some of the people who post comments. If you hate Lauren so much, why are you even on her Vevo page? For those of you who are still living in 2011...the competition on Idol ended then. Time to grow up and move on. Or time to get a life. But leave this young lady alone. I've seen a comment about her being a bully. Really, it takes someone real tough to sit behind a computer screen and anonymously say nasty things about her.

There's some weirdo that goes around creating accounts and pasting the same slanderous comments on all of her videos, they've been doing it for years. The weirdo is obsessed. Probably jealous or something, I honestly don't understand why they would waste their time in this way. Of course, then there is the regular people that just don't like the song, in which case why are they listening to it :)

Don't forget that people generally listen to a full song before they decide if they like it or not. You don't have to come to the channel only if you like it, sometimes its to decide whether you do or don't. And there is nothing wrong with posting opinions. Even if another does not agree with them.
There's a difference between not liking a song and just being out and out mean and cruel. If you don't like the song, hit the thumbs down button and move on with your life. Why do some people feel like they have the right to call names and be cruel? Actually the funny part about this whole thing is people being cruel is what led to this song being written.

Victoria secret models are healthy and beautiful. Well, beautiful perhaps. Also perhaps healthy. However being overweight does not always mean a person is unhealthy. It's more likely, though not always. I've known people as thin as can be, who I'm amazed they haven't had a heart attack. On the flip side I've know larger people who lead an active lifestyle, and eat better than I've ever managed. Let's stop pretending that a person's health is why you worry about their size. You dislike it because, for one reason or another, it bothers you. It's not concern. It's simple distaste.
