This song makes me think of my mom, who died two weeks ago today. My mom was a single mother who brought me up on her own. I definitely did not make it easy for her either! I never told her enough that I appreciated everything she sacrificed for me. Unfortunately, now it's too late. Please don't take your Mom for granted, she won't be there forever.

My daughter used to play and sing this and feel this way about me. God knows I wish she still did. I pray she can still see herself like her Mother does ❤
to all the haters: let me tell you something. I HAD a momma that had 5 children that she raised while she was dirt poor. her and my dad worked hard and loved us all very much. always wanted the best for us. she helped everyone. loved everyone and died a cruel death. I watched her suffer to draw every last breath for 3 whole days before cancer finally won. she didn't deserve to die that way and her passing has left a profound impact on my life. I still grieve everyday. she loved this song and this young lady and cried when she heard her perform it as she related to her relationship with her own mother. this song was played at my mother's funeral. to this very day it still grabs my heart and brings a tear. if I could only be half the person my mother was, it would be a great accomplishment. so if you don't have anything nice to say, please respect those of us who this person and song means a lot to. hateful comments are never constructive. and if you're gonna call someone ugly please follow it with a picture of yourself. thank you

No worries. This little song made me cry, quitely, on the down low, long before my momma had to deal with the fact she just outlived her poor little body. I loved the Momma. She was the kindest person I have ever known. However the world thinks, don't care. Glad that some really genuine people seem to think I may look like the Momma. And by the world standards, meh, but by my standards, that is frickin' awesome.

My mom is my hero I lived with my mom since I was 8 years old and me and my mom are so close and when they tested me for cancer my mom got down on her knees everyday and prayed and I came out negative.. My mom has been there through my hard times and good times I went in a program when I was 16 for 5 in a half months and came out after my 17th birthday and now I'm going to be 18 and my mom is still standing by my side no matter what I'm going through my mom is a ANGEL THAT GOD SENT TO ME FROM HEAVEN.. My mom is such a amazing person.. I love you mom... ☺😊😇❤💙💚💜
This isn't for my mother. This is for my Grandmother. She did EVERYTHING for my sister and I, and she basically raised us. When she passed away, I felt like I lost everything I ever loved in this world. She was my grandmother and mother rolled into one!! And I learned all of this, from her. You have a lot of soul and heart your very pretty and a strong singer my sister sent my mom this song for Mother's Day I love your voice so much it's amazing and don't pay attention to the negative comments they know nothing your great I want to be like you when I grow up
My mother does a lot for me and my brother. She promised me that she would get her GED and graduate with me, and she kept that promise. She has had some health issues involving her throat because she swallowed a chicken bone that tore up her throat, which left her unable to eat whole food. Lack of nutrition made her drop down to 90 pounds. My mother has survived by using a feeding tube to get her nutrition. She just finished her first semester of college and is on track to become a cosmetologist. I am starting college next month also, and I am going for early childhood development.

I do not know how tonight is the first time I've ever heard this song. I absolutely love it. I lost my momma about a year ago. I just turned 17 and I can only say its been real rough. This song made me think about her so much, reminding me each of us ( my twin sister, little brother, and I) carry a piece of her in our hearts. I really needed this song tonight. So beautiful. I will never ever take for granted what'sin front of me ever again. That was something momma tried to teach us for years. Momma's y'all are angels on earth. God blessed me with the best momma.
