Same thinking here for my F10 550...go with a bigger sidewall for a Non-RFT to finally increased comfort. Got many quotes and spoke with many people; was thinking of wheel-well rubbing. However, by going to a 245/45/19 (fronts) and 275/40/19 (rears), sidewall goes up only 0.5" and height by 1". Therefore, no rubbing.

So i have 275/40-20 Nitto nt555 G2 on the rear & 245/40-20 Continental Extreme Contact DWS on the front. Best combo EVER!
    p.s. Nitto does make 275/35 in 20" don't know about 19" rims.
Anyways the Nitto tires are larger sidewalls compare to the same exact tire side of other brands.
Example: a 35 size sidewall is more like a 40/45 size sidewall compre to other tires sizes.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500, best bang for the buck (IF they come in your size, that is.) I have them on my F10 M5 (and my Focus St....AND my Lex GS430 lol) It uses an old Bridgestone Race/Autocross rubber compound. I get 25k-30k miles on a set. And, they have an even sexier tread pattern than all the others :-P

My question is this. Have you experienced the ps4s on any of your cars? I went from them, to just the rear indy 500 and was extremely disappointed. Drift nation is all I can say. I used to brake boost launch at 2k in my modified bmw, everyone swore I was awd I hooked so hard. indys would spin on 40 rolls! Definitely not a performance tire! Not even a little but. It's an average tire. Sorry. I wish you were right. I think I'll just buy another set of ps4s tires. I'm tired of this trial and fail search. I'm sure the indys are fine for regular hp cars. Or non competitive drivers. But I'm all about putting my power down. And racing. I'm not trolling. I just want this dude to be happy with the tires he buys. Don't believe the cheap hype bro! I did. I even had the tire guy scratch my GTS M3 wheel! Yay!

I have Continental Extreme Contact DWS on my ‘16 535i M Sport. I feel in love with the tires back in the day on my ‘06 A4. Great value, comfortable ride, low road noise, cool tread pattern, great dry/wet traction as well. I know they aren’t as performance driven of the PS4s but i have no issues carving up the roads in GA.

Just found your channel and have coincidently done many of the same exterior mods to my 15 535i M Sport but looking forward to everything else you are doing. Powder coated the rims black about a year ago and put on a set of Pilot Sport 4s's at the same time. Wow, they are incredible tires and well worth the money. Had the run flats previously and the difference in handling, road noise and comfort is night and day. I've had pilot sports in the past on other vehicles and loved them but this latest version is a noticeable improvement. The big Michelin logos on the sidewall are a nice look as well. You can often get a good deal if you are a Costco member as they typically run a discount on Michelins every other month.

Nitto vote here. Let's be real here 90+ % of the time you're not pushing the tires anyway. The nittos are going to perform just fine. I got my 550i with michelins on it and I won't put them back on. I'll tell you what I have on mine I put cheapo achilles atr sport 2 tires on mine and haven't been disappointed (by the way they're owned by michelin). I was going to buy nittos but it was kind of a screw it lets see purchase. They're so cheap if I want to roast em down I don't care in the least. Incase you're wondering some nittos and toyos are also made in indonesia. I have had zero issues launching or pulling.

Hey what's up splitt mods, i had the same decision as u 2 yrs ago. When I got my car it had Dunlop run flats, I live in Indiana so the snow can b a b*tch . I ended up getting Michelin pilot sport a/s 3+ n they have been great for me but now i have winter wheels so i tend to use these mainly for summer now. I don't have the 4s but the a/s 3+ have been great so far in all conditions. Good luck on your choice👍

Those were drift nation in my modified 335i, I say no to indy 500, I'm happy with the ps4s. I drove for 2 years on them. It's been on plenty of mountain runs, many many many street dig races. Won many races I should've lost in due to my dead hook from a dig. They handle in the wet like its dry out! Slamming on brakes is a mother to your organs lol! Smooth, zero road noise. I love them 100% I've never experienced a tire this good before. Now its replacement time. And I am also in search of an alternative due to cost... I think I'll be disappointed in anything besides Michelin... the indy 500 was pure trash for me. Like a basic average tire. A roll punch at 30 was a guarentee drift scene on my car. Definitely your friends in denial. I went from brake boosting off the line keeping up with awd Audi's using launch control on ps4s tires. To having zero faith with indy 500 off the line. Even if I needed to shoot out into traffic I'd just wait for an open space. Cause the indy 500's would spin and not allow a simple maneuver into traffic... I would not recommend the indy 500 to anyone with actual power. If you have 500hp or better to the wheels walk away from the indy tires. Maybe that's why they call them 500, cause that's the traction limit.

So, my buddy just came over last night with those nitto G2 tires on his GT350 shelby cobra, and I gotta say, they seem okay for a quick light to light rip, but there nervously waggy on the freeway... like tiny inputs at 80mph felt like it had flats! I'm not sure about them... his car had the older pilot super sports. But I drive it then too. And it was a solid confident feeling on the hwy. So it was most definitely those G2 tires. His car only had 12k Miles and had never been in a wreck, so it's not the car. He was ecstatic about his purchase, so he came to show me. But in conclusion, they struggle to track in a straight line. Maybe it's the sidewall design? To be honest I'm in search too of an alternative tire. I can't afford 1700 bucks for each of my cars to replace these awesome ps4s tires! Maybe the G2 works on this guys car. But it was sketchy af on the gt350, if that was my gt350, I'd take those right back off. The quality of control and handling was stripped away from his car. His car reminded me of my M3. That's saying a lot! So the gt350 handled great with Michelin tires. And really bad with nitto g2, I swear I'm not affiliated with Michelin. I'm trying to find an affordable alternative... so far only the cup2 is better. Why can't they be cheaper...

I agree with the Continentals. I run the DWS 06's on my winter (stock) wheels and I'm pleased with them. Good mileage, quiet, perform pretty well, not bad in snow, etc.
I run the Continental Extreme Contact Sports on my summer setup (staggered 245/35/20 Front and 285/30/20 Rear). Slightly cheaper than the 4S's. I can tell you first hand the Extreme Contact Sports are the best I've run on any car. Pushed them hard on a sunny 90 degree day, they heated up to about 150 degrees and stuck like glue. Very pleased! I'm pushing 542hp and 733lbs tq at the wheel with a 2015 f10 550i xdrive.
