Your video is so through, I think it might help to put terminology in captions because sometimes it's hard to hear what you're saying due to dialect differences but I think putting technical terminology in captions during the first occurrence will help. Thank you for the video
Thanks for the tutorial New subscriber, please am little confused on the sleeve part, after cutting out the first sleeve, u open it and measure 11.5 for the arm hole and later divide by 6 and it gave u 1.9 you times it by 2 =4 for the cir to be Fuller please i want to know why you divide by 6 while ur sleeve circumference is 9
Thanks; well explained. But how i did not know how u got ur 9inchs for the off shoulder? Am making this style now, but got confused on the 9inchs explanation 🤔 Please kindly reply 🙏
my chest is wide and I find that inputting the bra-strap to bra-strap measurement mine being 6.25" is so close to the arm hole, it barely has any allowance left. should i add the hemming allowance in that case?
you can always increase shoulder measurement. I sometimes use between 7-7.5 and still get good results. Just make sure your measurements are correct especially your round shoulder measurement, it’s the most important measurement here.
To get your chest line , subtract 2 inches from your bust line. That is if your bust line is 10 minus 2 inches, that means chest line is 8 inches. Or measure your armhole depth
When connecting the dart on the off shoulder to the bust line, it passes through the chest line, so whatever you get after connecting the dart on off-shoulder to bust-line becomes your chest line dart. After doing mine, I got 1 inch on the chest line. Thanks for the feedback, let me know if this is helpful ❤
The waist dart is 0.5 on both sides. To get the underbust dart, add 0.25 to 0.5 =0.75 on both sides of the underbust. So underbust dart would be 1.5(0.75+ 0.75). To get the dart for off-shoulder line, use the underbust dart, mark 1 inch on the side facing armhole and 0.5 on the side facing the CF, then add 0.25 to both sides. Connect these to the bust point, after connecting, the chest dart would be formed. So just measure what you have on the chest line.
Not well explained. Nice outcome. When doing a tutorial u can't assume the viewers know certain things......the purpose is to explain what, how and why. Nice top but I'm completely lost.
I will be so glad if you can kindly do another tutorial on the sleeve part cos you were little so fast for me to understand it thank u if possible kindly send me ur WhatsApp number for better inquiry thanks so much
I love the decency of the dress

The 6 is a standard measurement used when cutting full circle.
I didn’t divide it by the circumference
@@riyalandfashion thanks for replying me, Now i understand where you got the 6 but i thought u should have said 6.28 instead lol
Thanks for easy teaching
Glad you like it 😊

Explain better for a beginner how u get chest line thks

Let me know if I misunderstand your question
Please is the aim hole depth different from chest line🙂@@riyalandfashion
So beautiful
Very nice.. a new subscriber
Thanks and welcome
You are just too much God bless you
I love this top😍😍😍😍
I’m glad you do, thanks❤
How did you get off shoulder measurements
Wear a bra, measure from one strap to the next at the point you want the off shoulder.
Watch this video: ruclips.net/video/caUAI7pkVcc/видео.html… I showed how to take the measurements in between the video.
Please redo this construction video. However, your 1st video showing how to draft the pattern was good.
Beautiful 🥰👍🙏
Thank you very much!
Welldone 😊
Thanks 😊
How do you get the measurement for one bra strap to the next
Wear a bra, from the point where you want the off shoulder to start measure from one bra hand to the next.
Didn't understood your explanations well especially on the first sleeve
Pls how do you get the dart for the chest line ma
When connecting the dart on the off shoulder to the bust line, it passes through the chest line, so whatever you get after connecting the dart on off-shoulder to bust-line becomes your chest line dart. After doing mine, I got 1 inch on the chest line. Thanks for the feedback, let me know if this is helpful ❤
@@riyalandfashion this passage is still not clear to me
The waist dart is 0.5 on both sides.
