Returning to Equinox! It's my all-time favorite and most-played frame in all of Warframe. In all honesty, as I said in the video, I don't touch her that much anymore cause this build is so ridiculously strong that using anything else on her feels like a waste of time BUT you should definitely give it a go. It is very involved but oh SO STRONG. Hope your are all well :)

❗️ IMPORTANT PSA ❗️
This build doesn't need 9 forma AT ALL. I forgot to say in the beginning, but I showcased the same build only needing 4 forma on overframe. THIS BUILD ALSO DOES NOT NEED 4 ARCHON SHARDS. You get the same results using Madurai sling strength. I apologize for not outlining this further. Watch the entire video!
So messing around with the arsenal, you can get almost the exact same build with 0 forma, nonarchons. Corrosive projection, cunning drift, power drift, overextended, stretch, p continuity, blind rage, fleeting expertise, augur message, augur reach. Efficiency is lower, and not quite 100% shield gate, but enemies are frightened, and in last slot I put rolling guard for pesky eximus. I also swapped molt augmented for molt efficiency, not 100% sure what duration is for in this build, a 30sec terrify is more than enough to kill enemies, and capped channeling efficiency is 75% which you get even without the arcane. Great idea, can probably shave a bunch of forma off of it, though.
@@darkblade190 Blind rage just tanks the builds efficiency and makes it very difficult to keep up energy consistently.
@@darkblade190 if i may, just have rolling guard for tank the eximus is quite tricky, but you can put 2 augur mod on pistol so you can shield gate, but the biggest probleme is indeed energy management, without (p) flow you can barely do 2 rotation of terrify + maim, and with armor strip, molt aug is a bit waisted because your weapon build enough maim dmg, on top of that without yellow shard or natural talent you need madurai for the casting speed or it get you killed because you cant allow you to use 1 abilitie to safe u after animation because it can messed up your nuke rotation with the neutral effi, but if you can run in sp your build i can only applaud you because it look though as f*ck for me
This build is incredibly optimized and really only works with the way I demonstrated. The values are so precise that doing it any other way you find issues arise
@@kyaii it’s like 4 less duration (which I’m not sure the point of duration is on the build other than slightly less energy consumption with maim uptime) and lower efficiency which hurts but I used zenurik for passive energy orb increase. Same strength and range values, corrosive projection still makes terrify a full strip, and the sling strength ability doesn’t actually give you much other than slightly higher initial slash damage when you start maim, but the multiplier is fixed. It could use some casting speed, either swapping rolling guard for natural talent or a couple of yellow archons, but I managed steel path just fine (even only using pistol and glaive for nightwave). I’m going to experiment more later.
Also, check your polarities when modding. I’ve noticed some of your builds are unoptimized with polarities, costing extra capacity and forma. For instance if you switch constitution with augur reach you’ll save an extra 3 points. I love the content, your builds are fantastic, I just think you can make them a bit cheaper.
This build made Equinox my favorite frame. It is just insane, how powerful you feel when you annihilate whole rooms full of enemies and your teammates think it's a bug. Thanks for this great video man, been following you from the beginning and you're by far my favorite WF-RUclipsr! Keep it up!!

If you want to do a really similar build you can also forgo the Aura Forma and keep both D polarities, and go for Corrosive Projection, Rolling Guard and Augur Secrets + rank 9 Transient Fortitude. It's the perfect amount to fully armor strip with Corrosive + Terrify with Overextended on. In this case you'd use Streamline instead of Fleeting Expertise. You can also totally forgo the Archon shards, or you can use them instead for Casting Speed and Duration.

Thanks for this build. I fell in love with Equinox as she was my first prime and the one to carry me through the entire starchart and my first clear of Thermia Fractures. Now I finally have a reason to pull her out again. Kinda wish I didn't have to hop into operator though. Only have like two red shards.
Yea it is unfortunate but I find investing the reds to be worth it here!
dunno if this is of help now lmao but I opted to sacrifice arcane energize for molt vigor and use the zenurik wellspring to get both energy over time and get 45 strength buff on next cast
tbh its not that really necessary. i swapped fleeting expertise for primed flow swapped molt efficency for molt augmented. the increased duration from not have fleeting helps the drain on her 4th. and the 60 % strength from molt augmented means i dont need archon shards or madurai buffs to get the full strip. and the energy economy without fleeting is still fine to me cause i have a max arcane energize

Equinox has been my main for 6 years. In recent years though I mostly use her for her slow ability, paired with gloom enemies basically stop moving, let's you have the full "gun experience". I love how theres so many ways to play this frame. Im gonna implement your build in my kit ùaybe replacing cunning drift constitution and continuity with augur secrets, message and natural talent since i dont have that many archon shards

Nice build man and very nicely explained. Been playing wf for 8 years and was never a fan of equi but I might give it.anoyher go, simply because I love changing frames all the time, it gets very boring if you "main" any of them.

Yo this build is amazing
A couple things i did different was take off constitution and add primed vigor cause i was dying too fast. And took off stretch because 42m of range is still pretty good and i felt like equilibrium is better for health as youre constantly taking energy by having your 4th active the entire time. And added molt augmented for more ability strength
This is next level of perfection. Insane how thus Frame can be so OP and i only used hwr to farm xp xD

If u use corrosive projection with umbral intensify and augur secrets, you only need 1 red strength shard to meet the requirements of terrify once you cast provoke. No molt augmented or Madurai required.

I know they've add a bunch of stuff with this latest patch but I fell in love with this build despite it not really being sp viable anymore and would love to see your current take on it.

Been using this build and it’s fun as hell! Just a quick question, what buff do you recommend for the Amber Archon Shards? Just got a Tau Forged one and want to continue to optimize it.

great vid but, imagine using tauforged shards, wouldn't that free up a mod slot, change it to a duration mod to free up the duration arcane to be more consistent at the cost of a tiny bit negligible decrease in duration while winning a whole arcane slot? or even be able to use the augur mods on the frame instead of the weapon in case someone don't want to put them somewhere else?
For me, I would drop Cunning Drift for PSF, Power Drift for Augur Secrets (no need to bother with knockdown since we have PSF), Constitution for Streamline, put rank 4 Fleeting Expertise (for lower duration of 105% but higher eff of 175%, this is because the duration bonus is more impactful to the drain if we have better eff). But this is just my style since we're also acting as a box breaker, lower duration & higher eff feels better. For beginner that doesn't have PSF, yeah your setup is better.

@@kyaii i dropped power drift for cata shields, but switched shards around a little, currently i have 2 reds, 2 tau reds and a yellow but will go for 3 tau reds and 1 norm red and a yellow, all strength and casting speed, needs 5 forma overall but I'm happy they're still kicking. i was heartbroken to return to this build to see how the shield gating changed it as ive been off for the past 2 or so months, but re-evaluating shards has brought it back haha.

Its such a shame equionoxs form change wasent her passive similar to limbo the helmeth is a nice system but it feels so shitty breaking the syerges or uses of the frames themselfs well done on the vid i havent played with equinox in a long time ill defently go back for some fun :)
Yea its unfortunate that this is the best build for her imo. She does need some sort of rework or buff to make her 2 forms more synergistic imo
Hey ive been trying this build out for a bit and its definitely putting in work. My main issue though is energy, once you run out and the CC from Maim and Terrify are gone you just kinda blow up. Any idea on how to help reduce this? Sometimes RNG just refuses to drop energy orbs.
Or should I just use energy pads lol
I personally find the energy economy to be fine with this build. Are you running energize? Same exact build? It needs to be pretty much exactly what was in the video to function properly unfortunately, but so comes with power like this.

Mmmmm 🤔interesting I think the reason why DE is confused is that bleed/slash is post to ignore armor suggesting that it is a glitch No clue if DE would Nerf it or fix it But it would make sense As it’s effectively acting as it shouldn’t be so IDK 🤷 what they going to do So have fun while it lasts That’s all I can say.
The nuking regular enemies part is excellent, but this build leaves her absolutely defenseless against boss types like acolytes or Corrupted Vor. In that example run with the Phenmor (which I assume was Mot on SP), how did you deal with them? Phenmor sucks against Acolytes and you sacrificed a viable secondary build for the primer/Augur mods, so did you have a way to kill them?
Yes i just tried this build in sp 10 seconds in and i was already on the ground
Build works perfectly fine for me, bosses can be dealt with easily through a vastilok too.
i don't know what i'm doing wrong but i just can't seem to replicate the full armor strip you get in the simulacrum even though i have more STR than you do (swapped an archon shard for a tau forged).

Would subsuming the second ability be better so you could use the night form for more comfortable survivability
No as it requires you to be recasting abilities alot since they do not stick from day to night form. There is no room on the build for the augment that allows this for her 4th ability either, and it would also require you to recast your 3rd. There is no need for better survivability than the crowd control and shield gating provided by Terrify anyways. Also everything should be dead anyways
I still have an issue with the eximus units not being effected by terrify and i also dont get why ability duration matters on this build so much
As her 2 isn’t really needed, you could slot 3 tauforged crimson archon shards and remove power drift to use her 1’s augment so you can have access to both her forms.
Swapping forms gives extra shields which completely messes up shield gating
@@kyaii oooh, good point. Maybe do what I suggested but use Catalysing Shields instead (since shield gating was changed in Whisper in the Walls)?

It contributes. This build is so heavily min maxed you can't really drop anything

Why not just use molt augmented? That arcane energize doesn't do crap. Put equilibrium in place of that power drift and add health/energy regen mods to a Vulpa.
You watch the video? I explain why I use everything and why they NEED to be used. Also arcane energize is the only way to keep energy economy up. There is no room for equilibrium if going for absolutely maxed out stats.. which this build does.
This build is definitely powerful, but there's A LOT of setup and maintenance to it. I miss the old days when you'd have a rhino buffing you, and your ticks would insta kill the whole map. It was a set and forget build.
Question: can you use this build for lvl cap? Any frames can kill easily in the first 30’ of survival

You don't really need it but if you can... why not? It lowers drain on Maim and increases terrifys cc duration (even if they all die immediately after)

I have two questions: First, up to how high a level does this build work in steel path? Second, if you have Primed Sure Footed, should this be built differently?
It works very high but I can't give an exact level. And if you use PSF then obviously you won't have max range but that isn't such a huge detriment just not fully optimized such as the build in the video.

Not really. Use 3 abilities and kill 3 enemies, then kill them all. If you need to use Madurai, then it is more involved, but seldom do I see builds of this power.
How would catalyzing shields fit into this? I'd imagine it'd allow you to have good efficiency alongside shield gating right?

Wait I'm confused.. if you replace the first ability how do you switch to day form? Isnt it night form by default?
The form in whitch you start a mission depends of your emissive colour. If is a bright color you'll spawn in day form, is is a darker color you'll spawn in night form.

I don’t know if I’m understanding this correctly but doesn’t Equinox’s third ability (Provoke) also scale with ability strength? If it does then you wouldn’t need all these strength mods as the multiplier also scales. I’m thinking about how ability strength affects the armor strip (terrify).Please tell me if I’m wrong, really love this man but kinda confusing some times.
It does. At 139% strength it provides a 28 strength bonus that hits the threshold terrify wants.
Sorry if I’m missing something obvious but on the Warframe fandom page (idk if it’s reliable but I’m relatively new) it says that a max rank intensify (ability strength 130%) is a 56% damage multiplier. If I’m misunderstanding something on the fandom page then please let me know
It says “Provoke, after being affected by equipped Ability Strength mods, stacks additively with Ability Strength bonuses when applied to other abilities (e.g., with a maxed Intensify, Equinox's abilities will gain 0.3 + 0.2 × 1.3 = 56% Ability Strength when cast while a rank-3 Provoke is active).” Please tell me what I’m not getting
Also for 139 to get to exactly 167 that is a 20% multiplier. And 20% multiplier is base multiplier on Provoke. So that would mean it wouldn’t scale with strength. I don’t know if provoke scales but you said it does and according to the Warframe fandom 130 strength on provoke is 56% multiplier, which equals 203% ability strength. Idk how it scales so going to assume that 139% strength is higher than that.

Yes these builds are good but I don’t understand why people insist on cutting out frames core mechanics
This is so good, but you so rarely show the whole mod screen that it was hard trying to put it all together myself. Just a convenience thing but I think could increase quality in the future.
