this frame was the hardest to farm for me. Fuck Tyl Regor like seriously. Equinox made me hate the entirety of Uranus. I avoid this tileset like the plague because of all the pain its caused me lmao.

I have always struggled greatly with Equinox's energy consumption and weak ability damage but this video makes it make a lot more sense, you HAVE to use all her abilities together to stuff debuffs and buffs before doing any kind of nuking / tanking.
If you're trying to use the nuking ability, don't rely on the over-time damage from Maim (unless you're in a mission with enemies under level 20, it won't kill anything), instead use your weapons to build the damage by killing enemies; But the damage from the channeling, while minuscule, can help to stagger enemies for a while... Night-form is the better tank as the 3rd ability reduces enemy damage and can heal with the 4th if needed...
This frame is only viable for focus farm. Very weak frame for SP, to make decent build you have to spend all avaible slots, there is no space for any stats mods, very weak frame, why complicate the life if there are way better frames, which are enjoyable to play.
been having fun running pillage over her 1 for the nuke build, with corrosive projection, pac n prov, and molt augmented she hits the 328 str required easily. honestly it might be possible to hit the full 400 str and run a different aura. I also decided to drop catalyzing shields as I didnt really think 1.33s was worth the mod slot when base it's 1.0s, so might be something to play around with. Good guide! Edit: With transient fortitude, umbral intensify, augur secrets, power drift, molt augmented, day form 3 maxed, and 2 archon shards in str with at least 1 tauforged, you reach the 400% str barrier for full armor strip with no corrosive projection. absolutely not worth it but very funny nonetheless
Do note that the slowing ability of Peaceful Provocation caps out at 80%, so if you're focusing on that ability you don't need more than 200% ability strength, so as far as helminth abilities go, it's better to go with an armor stripping ability imo... Also the abilities are just inverse versions, so even if you made your build focusing on a specific aspect, the other form will also be as effective in the intended use...
@@TheGadeckaterrify is much better for her because not only does it not require 400% strength, it armor strips through walls and pairs very nicely with her 4. Not having to build max strength allows for much more flexibly in the builds and normally means you can make use of her augments without losing out on as much.
@@L1amba I've found that 200 STR Pillage can work just fine. You still get the shields, you reduce their defenses significantly, and often by the time they get close you will have hit them with 2 Pillage for the full strip...but Maim hits so hard that half armor strip is usually sufficient until you go deep into endless content.
Warframes should have an extra Mod Slot for Augments, where you can put one in. This with a big update going over outdated/flawed abilities would be awesome.
I would love to get back to using Equinox. Especially on builds where I could use both day and night forms at the same time as situation or mission changes.
@@WarframeFloyeah, that looks kind of the playstyle I am thinking. Reminds me a bit of playing the druid in WoW by just having more options. Could perhaps enjoy slapping on Duality (for fun mostly) also and replacing that Flow with Archon shards for even more action on the field. Looking nice.

Efficiency affects both the initial cost and drain of her channeled abilities, and has a bigger impact than duration alone on the drain cost. Some duration is still good though. I run a R4 fleeting expertise, and rarely if at all have any energy issues. Better than trying to run multiple mods for duration.
@@7of475 My build has 13% duration, terrify still lasts long enough to get the maim and mend/terrify wombo combo off, and the massive amount of efficiency means 0 energy issues. I just wish her 4 had more range.
@@7of475 If you're gonna run both mods, you might as well only use a R3 fleeting so you don't take as big a penalty to your duration. There is no point in overcapping needlessly. Either run one, or run both up to the cap, but not over.
@@anthonyrodriguez-provost961Over capping efficiency DOES have an effect with sub 100% duration channel abilities. Depending on your Equinox build, you don't really need duration, and over capping outpaces the energy cost of just hitting cap directly in my experience.
@@7of475 That makes no sense, as even trying to overcap efficiency stops you at 175%. Adding more doesn't change the value. Having less duration doesn't affect it either, as efficiency directly cuts the base cost and the drain. Having less duration just means you have a higher starting drain cost that efficiency then reduces. As example, if you have a 20 energy drain base and cap efficiency, that makes 5 drain. But if you lower your duration to say just 50%, that will make your new base drain 30, which efficiency will cut down to 7.5. It's not making it better, you're just mitigating a negative at that point. DE even states you can't reduce the cost any further than 1/4 of the original value, so you *can't overcap*
Equinox was my first prime, i started playing her in a support role and enjoyed it a lot. Then i got her augments and have settled into a power transfer hybrid build. I also use her as a sanctuary nuke to help power level friends, and use a max range maim treasure hunter build with her. She's been in my top 5 frames ever since i first got her
Trust me just play a few missions and she makes ALOT more sense! when i was making this video it took me so long to read her abilities and figure her out but once i played a few missions it just clicked! pick a playstyle you like and then just go with it
Just watched this june 2024 hadnt played her in ages I'd got 4 archon shards in her 😮 i was like oh ok must have put some work into her ,watched the very good day is pants night is skirt (genius btw) vid and was having a blast after not playing her for to long . Great work flo 👏 awesome vid ❤
Once I found out about duality equinox became my only played frame :D Few things I want to add about builds. Since her 4 day form apply a bit of damage, it synergizes very well with helios/any other pet with Vicious bond causing aoe armor strip. So much so, you might not even need terrify anymore. Hydroid subsume, paired with augment, even with low strangth covers huge aoe, reduces armor and applies viral stacks to a huge area for a huge duration. Again - great tool to boost 4 and 1 damage Tried out different mods after shield gate rework - suprisingly fast deflection feels the best on her. It also affects Duality too, (unlike other mods) giving it more i-frames But holy... there are SOOOO MANY BUGS going about Duality....
Make no mistake. I love bringing my Equinox to arbitration defenses just because I can clear the tileset rather quickly with my build (sub minute rounds). There was one time as of recent that my good friend brought another friend using Harrow who eventually at some point stopped what he was doing to just sit down and play his instrument. I literally had a good laugh at that.

I remember maining her for a while before becoming a Limbo Main. She does not mess around even before the shield changes. If you can build her right you can make both halves devastating especially with her Duality Augment.

One interesting thing, if you're only using channeling abilities you can ignore duration and use fleeting expertise and streamline, and the drain will be minimal
I love equinox night form to slow enemies and dmg reduction, the problem is that at high level there are really a lot of enemies that drains your energy pool really fast, and while using his ability you can't regen energy (i don't remember about energy orbs, but arcane energize surely don't work) so it limits a lot its use
My girl! ❤ Equinox, the 2nd warframe i had in my arsenal (1st being my starter excalibur) and the warframe that carried me all the way in this game, had been "interrrupted" from continuing the game, then came back and i see the helminth, other warframes and more stuff for equinox. With the amounts of builds you can make with her, she can almost have everything prepared, crowd control, dmg reduction, shields and health regain, etc. All she is missing is a good way to gain energy without helminth and she is set (not counting energize here). 1 thing i will mention: her passive is using old equilibrium (pre dagath update), so to use it properly you need sinth fyber on pet to make it work. But most likely you will be taking equilibrium so it will not matter much. Overall, an excellent warframe that can take you on almost any content, tho she could use some "tune ups" instead of a full rework. Hope you had fun trying equinox flomin 😊
actually just started playing with my equinox prime (among other frames that are normally gathering dust in my inventory) since the plague star event came out and i got all this free forma to mess with gone a both forms kinda build with range/strength/duration but dumped efficiency, so i can shield gate with 1 using catalyzing shields/brief respite/augur set mods, nourish/energize/primed flow to sustain it, so maim vs armor needs a long time to build up, but very good for playing dayform as a gunzerker kinda build with hunter munitions torid or latron and swapping back to night to refill overshields when needed. shame the 4 augment isn't just how the frame works as is, so can't fit every little thing i'd want, like needing cast speed from yellow shards and energize (or a helstrum deathcube but i don't have one), replaced 3 since i wanted 2 for acolytes and it doesn't play well with changing forms regularly like 4 with augment does. surprisingly comfortable for a pure shield gating & low efficiency build, can still nuke SP corrupted grineer when you finally pay attention to your buffs and notice you've got 50 million maim charge built up lol, and obviously corpus/infested you can just spam it regularly.
Equinox Main here. She’s amazing in every way, she’s versatile, she can do most everything and do them well (except drop physical barriers). I personally love the duality augment mod that allows me to get her other half when I switch forms since I love Spectors in this game
Kyaii has an incredibly in depth and high investment build video on her, it's a little outdated due to the shield changing nerfs, but i replaced power drift with catalizing shields and hsed archon shards to make it work. Basically as min-max-ey as possible for day form nuking using terrify.
Equinox is one of the few frames I like to play the others being hildryn, nova, loki, volt and mag. I've been playing a long time. I would like to use equinox alot more but I don't understand her as well as the others your video seemed to help me out a bit I will try the terrify since you said armor strip with maim I may also try hildryn ability as well where she armor straps and gives shields.
Ease in with night mode, stack some damage safely. Then switch to day, power up, and push the damage over the tipping point, nuke with maim, slide back into night form, and start stacking damage again.
I'm considering getting equinox prime this was very informative to me considering I focus on support, survivability and offensive most of the time (probably one of the reasons why i choose nekros a lot) as for the builds I may make personal adjustments to the builds (like i always do with builds i always make personal adjustments)

Pro tip, subsume ivara skill give you negative strength use night form enter a public session Place a invisibility bubble and activate your 3rd skill, now enemies do almost double damage and won't target you, your teammates will love you
Would Precision Intensify make more sense than Transient Fortitude in most of these builds? Particularly ones using Terrify, since it full armor strips at such a low strength level
Equinox was my third frame. I was an idiot and bought it off the in-game market cause I didn't know any better. Never really learned to use it effectively, but this guide makes a lot of sense so maybe that will change.

8:02 This is entirely incorrect. Efficiency affects energy drain for channeled abilities and has a greater effect than duration. Really you want to focus on efficiency and just keep duration positive to avoid draining extra.
I found an absolute madlad who just gave equinox to me for free, i had to give one of my rivens in return, i am still processing the fact, and im so confused, i hope you find people like him in game as well. :)
I love Equinox so much. Her versatility is sooo good. I confused some players during an Archon Hunt Defense who apperantly haven't been using her at all or just leveled her. I've been healing Chipper the whole time and at some point he got really low like 10%ish, popped my 4 and he got all shields and health back and people were like "WTF just happened!?" 😂 I almost always use a setup which uses both of her forms, cause I love that aspect of her. being able to switch forms. It's crazy how well she can adapt to different situations. Very underrated frame but hella fun!

I got a buff my team build, which is kind of pointless, but outrageous if you think about it. I throw roar on equinox making her and all her teammates, get double dipping on the Damage. If you run a faction, Damage moding triple dipping. On top of that, she buffs power strength with her mod, peaceful provocation to 80%. Plus power donation (aura mod)can buff your teammates up to 110% plus roar.
I really like listening to a RUclipsr talk about whatever build they've put on their Warframe, then looking at the stats they chose. Typically, what I'll do next is completely ignore the specific mods they used and use my own to try and replicate the same idea with my own Warframe. The result is a very similarly built frame with very different builds in terms of the mods used. I took the support Equinox from this video and replicated it onto my Equinox, kissing Range goodbye in favor of Strength and Duration while trying to not go into negatives with Efficiency. What I got was a Warframe that can go from 600 shield to 2000 incredibly quickly.
my favourite equinox build is a night form sleep build that subsumes marked for death to amplify finisher damage and spread it to all the other enemies in the room (it also spreads sleep super far with calm and frenzy augmeny)

The problem with equinox is that she's reliant on high % in pretty much all of the stats making beginner's build for her kind of garbage, by the time most folks have the mods they need to do something decent with her they either have better frames already or forgot about her completely. That said you can leave efficiency neutral by making use of yellow archon shards or arcane energize & simply go high range/strength with mid duration & peaceful provocation, you'll get an extremely versatile equinox that can do basically anything, I've rarely had reason to bother using any other sort of build for her. My only complaint with her personally is that she has so many good augments but due to peaceful provocation being such a staple & her high stat requirements that I've almost never had room to used them apart from extremely niche builds. She's one of those frames they could highly benefit from having most of her augments subsumed into her kit.
For anyone that sees this, she’s really not that complicated. Just have to break her down. Its basically two warframes in one, so two completely separate frames. Her first ability just swaps between each frame, frame 1 being day, and frame 2 being night. Or vice versa. In day form she will have less clothes on so think of day as more bare. In night she’ll have a robe and be more clothed. Think of a nice summer day, youll be in shorts and less clothes. Night time youll be in robes and bundled up. Makes sense if you think about it. Her second and third ability are pretty self-explanatory like read ability screen and youll understand them. For her fourth, basically as you kill enemies, you build up a damage number. YOU WILL BUILD UP A DAMAGE NUMBER IN BOTH DAY AND NIGHT FORM. Since night is health it just does a conversion like xyz damage build up will be xyz health/shield regen. U just need to know, In day form, the higher the damage number, the more damage she will release, and the more damage you will do to enemies. In night form, the higher the damage number, the more health and shield you will regenerate to team members and yourself. So to do a full squad heal just build the damage up a good amount. To do a nuke just build the damage up to a good amount.
I farmed equinox many years ago and recently farmed her again for helminth finally and I found the fastest way was to use Infested Mobility helminth on Mesa and my invis doggo, run through super fast and then take out maniacs the second they spawn
I wish we had an augment that kept her in her dual form (Both night and day), then the abilities become tap and hold abilities. Would be such a nice playstyle.
My Biggest Problem with Equinox is visually. The "Day Form" is a big bulky and on default dark colored being. While the night form is small but somehow is the form she is tankier in while the other is the dps one. So weird and i dont like the looks this way at all.
You say you utilize Shield Gating but i remember DE saying something about changing shields so you cant really damage gate. Has DE changed it or has that not happened yet?

I really hope DE would allow her a specter like Wukong if you have equipped Duality and every time you activate Metamorphosis you just switch between them. I literally can't be the first player who has this idea ._.
Correction: both duration AND efficiency reduces the channeled drain of channel abilities, and having 175% eff is more effective than having 275% duration on the drain
well equinox arnt technicly full channled abilitys since they drain a set amount of energy each cast/enemy unlike gloom which drains constantly every second and channeld abilitys have uncapped effecency
I prefer running Empowered Blades for the aura mod. You get the shields back with mend and you're buffing your DOT status effects whether that's with maim or the weapon you're using.
I love equinox she is best girl, I've mained her since her prime came out and it was the first prime I farmed out myself. My main build is a duality build but I have like 5 other builds if I want to change it up a bit. I will say i was kinda dooming for a while after the ammo nerf since i used to use zarr with her clone and had to find something new but i was very fortunate to find out how truly powerful sporelacer secondary was especially when you make it battery with the arcane. Combine me using the cedi to prime stuff in the room for her and glaive prime to kill anything too beefy and its super nice. A pot of button pusshing and weapon management but it's fun to me.
Yeah zarr made her duality clone great. Sporelancer was my second go to as well, but then I got a riven for the tenet envoy and with a faction mod, using the toxin progenitor, the clone makes every shot count. I haven't looked back since then lol.
I think you have convinced me to dig into this frame again. I got some good use with it when I was ESO farming with the nuke but sorta left it on the shelf since then. Edit: Okay, that was a short party, and I didn't like it. I understand all the various utility abilities, but most of them...just don't do much...at least not in an ordinary gameplay loop. Maim start / terrify / shoot a few enemies / end maim still wrecks, but survivability is highly suspect. Its also one of the most difficult frames to mod. It feels like it needs about 4 more mods than it can physically fit. There's barely enough mod slots to make the abilities feel good, but then there's no space for survivability, utility, or augments. Equinox just feels like it needs to be put high on the list of frames in line for a rework.
Funny that you mention farming Tyl Regor is awful. Back in Update 17 when they added Equinox, as well as introducing the Uranus lab tileset and Regor’s revamped boss fight, I was trying to farm for her parts the old fashioned way because I thought the boss fight was fun. Well I managed to get all the parts except 1. Around this time it was October and the devs were holding a Halloween costume contest. I made one and submitted it, and while I didn’t win, they still awarded 500 platinum to all participants. Anyway, back to farming. After 15 Regor fights, it turned from fun to tedious and I was getting sloppy, and still didn’t get that one last blueprint. Finally the tedium got to me and I said screw it and just bought her outright with the prize platinum 😂😂

Small note: you have to actually farm 8 parts to get equinox from the titania assassination, which averages out to around 20 runs for most people

I actually run max rank Fleeting with Streamline, then sub 100 duration. Having over the cap on efficiency actually makes up for the duration deficit.

Having less duration just means you have a higher starting drain cost that efficiency then reduces. As example, if you have a 20 energy drain base and cap efficiency, that makes 5 drain. But if you lower your duration to say just 50%, that will make your new base drain 30, which efficiency will cut down to 7.5. It's not making it better, you're just mitigating a negative at that point. DE even states you can't reduce the cost any further than 1/4 of the original value, so you *can't overcap*
Equinox was my first prime, i started playing her in a support role and enjoyed it a lot. Then i got her augments and have settled into a power transfer hybrid build.
I also use her as a sanctuary nuke to help power level friends, and use a max range maim treasure hunter build with her.
She's been in my top 5 frames ever since i first got her

Few things I want to add about builds. Since her 4 day form apply a bit of damage, it synergizes very well with helios/any other pet with Vicious bond causing aoe armor strip. So much so, you might not even need terrify anymore.
Hydroid subsume, paired with augment, even with low strangth covers huge aoe, reduces armor and applies viral stacks to a huge area for a huge duration. Again - great tool to boost 4 and 1 damage
Tried out different mods after shield gate rework - suprisingly fast deflection feels the best on her. It also affects Duality too, (unlike other mods) giving it more i-frames
But holy... there are SOOOO MANY BUGS going about Duality....

Make no mistake. I love bringing my Equinox to arbitration defenses just because I can clear the tileset rather quickly with my build (sub minute rounds). There was one time as of recent that my good friend brought another friend using Harrow who eventually at some point stopped what he was doing to just sit down and play his instrument. I literally had a good laugh at that.

I remember maining her for a while before becoming a Limbo Main. She does not mess around even before the shield changes. If you can build her right you can make both halves devastating especially with her Duality Augment.

One interesting thing, if you're only using channeling abilities you can ignore duration and use fleeting expertise and streamline, and the drain will be minimal
I love equinox night form to slow enemies and dmg reduction, the problem is that at high level there are really a lot of enemies that drains your energy pool really fast, and while using his ability you can't regen energy (i don't remember about energy orbs, but arcane energize surely don't work) so it limits a lot its use

Equinox, the 2nd warframe i had in my arsenal (1st being my starter excalibur) and the warframe that carried me all the way in this game, had been "interrrupted" from continuing the game, then came back and i see the helminth, other warframes and more stuff for equinox.
With the amounts of builds you can make with her, she can almost have everything prepared, crowd control, dmg reduction, shields and health regain, etc. All she is missing is a good way to gain energy without helminth and she is set (not counting energize here).
1 thing i will mention: her passive is using old equilibrium (pre dagath update), so to use it properly you need sinth fyber on pet to make it work. But most likely you will be taking equilibrium so it will not matter much.
Overall, an excellent warframe that can take you on almost any content, tho she could use some "tune ups" instead of a full rework.

actually just started playing with my equinox prime (among other frames that are normally gathering dust in my inventory) since the plague star event came out and i got all this free forma to mess with
gone a both forms kinda build with range/strength/duration but dumped efficiency, so i can shield gate with 1 using catalyzing shields/brief respite/augur set mods, nourish/energize/primed flow to sustain it, so maim vs armor needs a long time to build up, but very good for playing dayform as a gunzerker kinda build with hunter munitions torid or latron and swapping back to night to refill overshields when needed. shame the 4 augment isn't just how the frame works as is, so can't fit every little thing i'd want, like needing cast speed from yellow shards and energize (or a helstrum deathcube but i don't have one), replaced 3 since i wanted 2 for acolytes and it doesn't play well with changing forms regularly like 4 with augment does.
surprisingly comfortable for a pure shield gating & low efficiency build, can still nuke SP corrupted grineer when you finally pay attention to your buffs and notice you've got 50 million maim charge built up lol, and obviously corpus/infested you can just spam it regularly.
Equinox Main here. She’s amazing in every way, she’s versatile, she can do most everything and do them well (except drop physical barriers).
I personally love the duality augment mod that allows me to get her other half when I switch forms since I love Spectors in this game

Kyaii has an incredibly in depth and high investment build video on her, it's a little outdated due to the shield changing nerfs, but i replaced power drift with catalizing shields and hsed archon shards to make it work. Basically as min-max-ey as possible for day form nuking using terrify.
Equinox is one of the few frames I like to play the others being hildryn, nova, loki, volt and mag. I've been playing a long time. I would like to use equinox alot more but I don't understand her as well as the others your video seemed to help me out a bit I will try the terrify since you said armor strip with maim I may also try hildryn ability as well where she armor straps and gives shields.
Equinox is one the hardest frames to get in warframe. Gotta run the same mission 10-15 times to get all the parts and blueprints

Ease in with night mode, stack some damage safely. Then switch to day, power up, and push the damage over the tipping point, nuke with maim, slide back into night form, and start stacking damage again.
I'm considering getting equinox prime this was very informative to me considering I focus on support, survivability and offensive most of the time (probably one of the reasons why i choose nekros a lot) as for the builds I may make personal adjustments to the builds (like i always do with builds i always make personal adjustments)

Place a invisibility bubble and activate your 3rd skill, now enemies do almost double damage and won't target you, your teammates will love you
Would Precision Intensify make more sense than Transient Fortitude in most of these builds? Particularly ones using Terrify, since it full armor strips at such a low strength level
Equinox was my third frame. I was an idiot and bought it off the in-game market cause I didn't know any better. Never really learned to use it effectively, but this guide makes a lot of sense so maybe that will change.

I love Equinox so much. Her versatility is sooo good. I confused some players during an Archon Hunt Defense who apperantly haven't been using her at all or just leveled her. I've been healing Chipper the whole time and at some point he got really low like 10%ish, popped my 4 and he got all shields and health back and people were like "WTF just happened!?" 😂
I almost always use a setup which uses both of her forms, cause I love that aspect of her. being able to switch forms. It's crazy how well she can adapt to different situations. Very underrated frame but hella fun!

Late response, but he's using "Nautilus" sentinel with his "Cordon" mod.
I got a buff my team build, which is kind of pointless, but outrageous if you think about it. I throw roar on equinox making her and all her teammates, get double dipping on the Damage. If you run a faction, Damage moding triple dipping. On top of that, she buffs power strength with her mod, peaceful provocation to 80%. Plus power donation (aura mod)can buff your teammates up to 110% plus roar.
I really like listening to a RUclipsr talk about whatever build they've put on their Warframe, then looking at the stats they chose. Typically, what I'll do next is completely ignore the specific mods they used and use my own to try and replicate the same idea with my own Warframe. The result is a very similarly built frame with very different builds in terms of the mods used. I took the support Equinox from this video and replicated it onto my Equinox, kissing Range goodbye in favor of Strength and Duration while trying to not go into negatives with Efficiency. What I got was a Warframe that can go from 600 shield to 2000 incredibly quickly.

my favourite equinox build is a night form sleep build that subsumes marked for death to amplify finisher damage and spread it to all the other enemies in the room (it also spreads sleep super far with calm and frenzy augmeny)

The problem with equinox is that she's reliant on high % in pretty much all of the stats making beginner's build for her kind of garbage, by the time most folks have the mods they need to do something decent with her they either have better frames already or forgot about her completely. That said you can leave efficiency neutral by making use of yellow archon shards or arcane energize & simply go high range/strength with mid duration & peaceful provocation, you'll get an extremely versatile equinox that can do basically anything, I've rarely had reason to bother using any other sort of build for her. My only complaint with her personally is that she has so many good augments but due to peaceful provocation being such a staple & her high stat requirements that I've almost never had room to used them apart from extremely niche builds. She's one of those frames they could highly benefit from having most of her augments subsumed into her kit.

For anyone that sees this, she’s really not that complicated. Just have to break her down.
Its basically two warframes in one, so two completely separate frames.
Her first ability just swaps between each frame, frame 1 being day, and frame 2 being night. Or vice versa.
In day form she will have less clothes on so think of day as more bare. In night she’ll have a robe and be more clothed. Think of a nice summer day, youll be in shorts and less clothes. Night time youll be in robes and bundled up. Makes sense if you think about it.
Her second and third ability are pretty self-explanatory like read ability screen and youll understand them.
For her fourth, basically as you kill enemies, you build up a damage number. YOU WILL BUILD UP A DAMAGE NUMBER IN BOTH DAY AND NIGHT FORM. Since night is health it just does a conversion like xyz damage build up will be xyz health/shield regen.
U just need to know, In day form, the higher the damage number, the more damage she will release, and the more damage you will do to enemies. In night form, the higher the damage number, the more health and shield you will regenerate to team members and yourself.
So to do a full squad heal just build the damage up a good amount. To do a nuke just build the damage up to a good amount.

I farmed equinox many years ago and recently farmed her again for helminth finally and I found the fastest way was to use Infested Mobility helminth on Mesa and my invis doggo, run through super fast and then take out maniacs the second they spawn
I just wish i could keep her night form all the time, it's so beautiful, its a crime that i need to keep changing to see the night form

My Biggest Problem with Equinox is visually. The "Day Form" is a big bulky and on default dark colored being. While the night form is small but somehow is the form she is tankier in while the other is the dps one. So weird and i dont like the looks this way at all.

When you shoot people in your gameplay how does your damage spread to other enemies like that? Is it an arcane or a focus school?
If you're referring to the torrid it's because of the incarnon form. Other than that the gun itself may have some kind of radial effect

Correction: both duration AND efficiency reduces the channeled drain of channel abilities, and having 175% eff is more effective than having 275% duration on the drain
well equinox arnt technicly full channled abilitys since they drain a set amount of energy each cast/enemy unlike gloom which drains constantly every second

I prefer running Empowered Blades for the aura mod. You get the shields back with mend and you're buffing your DOT status effects whether that's with maim or the weapon you're using.
I love equinox she is best girl, I've mained her since her prime came out and it was the first prime I farmed out myself. My main build is a duality build but I have like 5 other builds if I want to change it up a bit. I will say i was kinda dooming for a while after the ammo nerf since i used to use zarr with her clone and had to find something new but i was very fortunate to find out how truly powerful sporelacer secondary was especially when you make it battery with the arcane. Combine me using the cedi to prime stuff in the room for her and glaive prime to kill anything too beefy and its super nice. A pot of button pusshing and weapon management but it's fun to me.
Yeah zarr made her duality clone great. Sporelancer was my second go to as well, but then I got a riven for the tenet envoy and with a faction mod, using the toxin progenitor, the clone makes every shot count. I haven't looked back since then lol.
I think you have convinced me to dig into this frame again. I got some good use with it when I was ESO farming with the nuke but sorta left it on the shelf since then.
Edit: Okay, that was a short party, and I didn't like it. I understand all the various utility abilities, but most of them...just don't do much...at least not in an ordinary gameplay loop. Maim start / terrify / shoot a few enemies / end maim still wrecks, but survivability is highly suspect. Its also one of the most difficult frames to mod. It feels like it needs about 4 more mods than it can physically fit. There's barely enough mod slots to make the abilities feel good, but then there's no space for survivability, utility, or augments.
Equinox just feels like it needs to be put high on the list of frames in line for a rework.

Funny that you mention farming Tyl Regor is awful. Back in Update 17 when they added Equinox, as well as introducing the Uranus lab tileset and Regor’s revamped boss fight, I was trying to farm for her parts the old fashioned way because I thought the boss fight was fun. Well I managed to get all the parts except 1. Around this time it was October and the devs were holding a Halloween costume contest. I made one and submitted it, and while I didn’t win, they still awarded 500 platinum to all participants. Anyway, back to farming. After 15 Regor fights, it turned from fun to tedious and I was getting sloppy, and still didn’t get that one last blueprint. Finally the tedium got to me and I said screw it and just bought her outright with the prize platinum 😂😂
