@@DantesInferno96 He killed himself (accidentally) in Arkham City, but after completing the game, you can see that his body's gone. The assassins take him and bring him back. If you don't have the Season of Infamy pack, you'll never know what happened. I don't have it so idk what happened.

the end of Mr. freeze was actually pretty sad to me
It is sad...but also really beautiful that his and Nora's story arc finally got to a conclusion instead of prolonging the inevitable. Stories like this are probably the best thing on Arkham Knight as they show how everything is really going towards the end, be it good or bad.
But I do feel sad for them, they would deserve more time together.
Also I'm glad that for this story they went with the old Mr. Freeze not the crazy stalker one from New 52.

It's Conroy and Hamill, that makes this universe the same as the Animated series which, in turn, is the same as the Justice League and JLU cartoons.
Commenting a bit late, but the Arkhamverse is not in the same universe as any of the 90s/ 2000s cartoons, it's just it's own universe. All of the characters from the Justice League exist in this universe, but it's never said whether they are actually part of the Justice League.

+Davis Moniz true. But if you played the game in consoles the boss battles were disappointing. Actually I can't call them boss battles idk WTF they were. There was no true iconic boss battles like in Arkham City against Solomon Grundy, Ra's Al Ghul, Mr. Freeze which was my favorite boss battle & Clayface. The story was predictable to me & some parts were recycled from Arkham Asylum. The Hush & Azrael build up in Arkham City was made into a disappointment in Arkham Knight. Batman Arkham Knight was a disappointment IMO

When the original batman arkham asylum came out it blew me away - - the combat was dope and it was easily the best batman game ever. The ending cut scenes were spectacular.

He never had a chance at saving her. That's what makes his story so tragic. He tried desperately to hold on to her because he was afraid of her leaving him despite time and death moving on against him. Freezing things is a metaphor for his obsession with attempting to keep things in his life frozen in a place where they are still beautiful and cannot be touched by time or death. This ending shows him finally accepting that he was only robbing Nora of what little time she had left, and that a life cut short by time is better than a memory frozen in place for eternity. It's a moving character arc that mirrors what many of us go through when we can't accept change and try to hold on to the past. And to think this guy started out just making ice puns
of all the reworking on a charather backstory, no one ever got as much development as freeze. but no matter how you look at his story, he is the saddes of bat antagonist
