Its not too bad, but definitely not worth what I paid, or generally what people are asking for them, haha. But you "gotta pay if you wanna play" as they say!!!
@@heavymetaldiecast it's exactly the same as your version, right down to the packaging. Price was very reasonable. I don't think they knew what they had. Very much enjoy your channel and your enthusiasm. Please keep it up!
@@mikefoster4984 its always good when you find a model at a great price, it feels like you won the lotto, haha. Appreciate you for being a part of the channel, and I'm glad you enjoy the videos!!
There was an edition made for deagostini that I have in my collection with a flying bomb that gave the possibility to be attached on top of the wings but it was an exclusive for subscribed to the bombers collection as I can remember, thank you for all your nice videos, cheers from Italy
Yes you are absolutely right, I found some info on those, which are even harder to find than these ones, haha. Your lucky that you have that in your collection, well done!! Thanks for watching and being a part of the channel!!! Appreciate it!! You will be happy with today's release, it's an Italian Bf 109G-6 😁😁
Glad you got one! These things are relatively rare to find, I'm glad I got one but it definitely cost me a lot (felt like an idiot looking at it's recent sold history now though) but it is a great model and a really unique one in any collection!
Yeah I had only seen it once or twice before in the last couple of years. I definitely felt a little butt hurt with what I paid also, but hey that's just the joys of the hobby!!! You have wins, and then you have models like these, haha. I just say to myself its because these are made with unobtanium that the prices are high 😂
Love that scheme for a very interesting aircraft. My local model shop had one back in the day but it was expensive even then and I would have preferred the more prevalent two engined one so didn't buy. However expensive a model is (if no one is taking the P!) if it fills the gap and you really want it then you go for it. Sometimes you do find a bargain if you are patient but this is not certain. Bit like gambling is this hobby! A roll of the dice whether you get it cheaper or not. Or whether you get a decent one or not. But that, is another story.
Yeah you do have your wins and losses in collecting second hand diecast. For some reason this is hard to find and people tend to put insane pricing on it at times. They just don't seem to pop up often that's why I finally begrudgingly pulled the trigger. Even so buying the one I did from a seller in the US was cheaper than I could get it from a seller here in my own country, haha. Even with the post, crap currecy exchange and taxes!!! But thats the thing, needed to fill the gap, I may have to start dabbling in building models eventually as I'm sure they won't make diecast everything. Thanks for watching as usual, always appreciate it!!
As for as I know the holes on top are supposed to be for a V-1 which came with one of these, in from what I can tell a different version of this model which is really tough to find
Yeah I ended up seeing some pictures of that after I did the video. Its the exact same aircraft livery wise, just with the V-1 mounted on top. Guess IXO figure we can just whack some aerials in the holes rather than fill them up for this edition, haha. Can only imagine what the V-1 edition is worth, haha
I also thought it looked small to what was in my mind, but I guess after all it was only a single seat aircraft. And was rough only 6 feet longer and wider than a Me 262. But yeah I definitely was expecting a bigger box, especially with the money I paid, ahaha
Oh did I,haha I'm loosing my mind in my old age, haha. Well if IXO start making them again they better make a new livery and not just throw more of these ones out or I'll cry, haha
I didn't know that IXO made ready-made aircraft models. I have some car models that are top quality. I learned something new from you again. Great, thanks for your video.🫵🫵👌👌🫡🫡🫡
Yeah they do a few, usually they are re boxed DeAgostini or Altaya type molds. See be aware as you will usually pay more for one in an IXO box, haha I found that with the Do 335 model I bought, it was pretty much identical to the cheaper one, just the paint shade was slightly different , but markings and pattern same. But was twice the price of the cheaper identical one, haha. Glad the video helps and thanks for letting me know!! Always nice to hear when people get some help from one of my videos!! Thanks for watching!!
@@heavymetaldiecast I have to thank you, without you I wouldn't have known, are the models still being sold? I can find no information on the IXO models homepage.
@@Schlachtkreutzer Always glad when a video helps someone. IXO I think may have stopped selling aircraft models, I'm not 100% sure. But this one is long out of production so you will need to search the second hand market for one. I found mine on eBay. IXO aircraft can still be found on eBay but always cross reference with those sold from DeAgostini/Altaya. As if you dont care about a fancy box they can be the same model just with a different price tag!!
@@heavymetaldiecast Thank you very much for the information, I will keep an eye out for it. It is a really nice model. Unfortunately, many manufacturers decide to always produce the same models, which is a shame when there are so many rare ones. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and lots of models under the tree.🫡🫡🫡
Never been a huge fan of jets but I do like the camouflage on this one though. 👍
Yeah its not too bad, just over priced though!! Thanks for watching!!
Wow, looks great

Good morning to you. Thank you for dropping past the channel. Have a great day!! 😁👍
Awesome model really like the arado
Yeah it's not too bad a diecast, just extra pricey than normal, haha
The camouflage job on this is beyond gorgeous 😍
Love this plane - such a cool design.
Yeah man she is an interesting bird, with a unique camo pattern. Thanks for watching!!
I stumbled across mine in a small shop in Shibuya Tokyo in 2007. Very happy to add it to my collection.
Oh great find!!! Was it this version or the one with the V-1? Hopefully you got yours at a reasonable price, unlike me!! 😂😂 Thanks for watching!!
