Spars Go into compression.....spars belong in the top of the wing Then you have room for the servers on the bottom And a spar...can go all the way almost to the tips.... My jeep is really stiff Has strapping tape and spas Floats like a feather.... Doesn't like humidity because it doesn't have any camber in the flaps
A few years back I made a very similar thing using the old multiplex fox chuck glider which was quite a bit smaller. It turned out to be a really fun easy build and easy thing to fly. I always wondered if anyone would ever release a cheap and cheerful EPP chuck glider that was a bit more generous in size.. So I guess here it is... Now what I'm wondering is if anyone will release one with a 2m wing span for $100 or less... Wouldn't that be awsome!!!
I modified an Albatross FX707S 1.2 metre chuck glider that slope soars really well. ruclips.net/video/xuqOiFce_mw/видео.html there are a few build videos you might like to look at on this channel as well?
I used to fiberglass spar and did they almost the entire top surface of wing the then I added fiber tape top and bottom so the top surface goes into compression and the bottom surface goes into tension .. On my cheetah..
I tried to keep my build as simple as possible but there would be lots of ways of improving the flight characteristics of this model. Thanks for the feedback.
@@modelmakingmaniacs8600 i don't have any hills in area but i already mount small brushless motor on nose of the plane and i cruise around above fields, very good cheap aricraft indeed

That's an absolute ripper build mate. Learnt a lot from this video so thank you and keep flying.
Thanks mate. Zippy little glider. Great fun to fly.
Awesome build man. Looks great!!!
Pretty responsive, but fun to fly off the cliffs at Hallett Cove South Australia.
@@modelmakingmaniacs8600 niiiiice!!! Like those updraft gliders right?
1.50 To increase the length of the pushrods just turn the servos over so the output shaft is further from the aileron. 😜
Great idea. I'll make sure I look at that on my next build.

just got red cheetah glider and also want to make this RC (and even FPV because i have TX06 FPV system)
good fun to fly in an up draught off a small cliff or sand dune.

Nice vidéo. What is the weight of the battery, mAmp, and C?
70gm, 1300 mAH, and 20C or 30C. These are 2S 7.4V Li-PO batteries.
Cover with brown paper and mix 50 50 PVA and water. Be hard than U as a teenager
Thanks for sharing your ideas. These models are so cheap and inexpensive that i could try your idea on my next one.
No mention of Motor.. Flight battery... or even propellor used
Converting a foam chuck glider into an RC plane. 3g servos, BR2211 , 1700kv Racestar motor, 2S LiPo battery. 7 x 4.5 prop.
