A SECRET Pokemon Card You'll Never Find in a Pack 🤫

- There are super valuable cards any one of us could pull in a pack of Pokemon cards. But, there are also super rare cards that we have a 0% chance of getting in a pack, too. This video explores one of those types of cards, something I've just added to my collection, and I'll show you what they are, how much I've paid, and what I plan to do with them.
Also, we pull some hits from Hidden Fates at the end of the video too, so make sure you stick around for that! Thanks for the amazing support, this channel is growing like mad, and I can't thank you enough for that!

Only Staff card i ever got was Altaria from Roaring Skies because for some reason my league received a bunch of extras so everyone in the prerelease got a Staff version 😃 lucky to have it because I've never been an organizer!

One question, do you have another main channel by any chance, for 2k subscribers you have extremely good video cuts and edits in the videos, the video quality is also extremely good, as well as a very good camera. There are very few 2-10k subscribing channels that offer such a quality.

Oh my gawd how did you do that??? 4:16 are you zooming in? moving the camera physically closer? 4:16 the light shimmer is amazing too are lights moving in the background or just different shading from camera movement? Doing them justice for sure that Donphan looks 3D
Ahh thanks for noticing! My camera is on an automatic slider so it moves super smooth, and I’m literally waving a light behind the camera to give some shimmer to the holograph. 😅

Plz talk about how you fund the niche you are casing. do you buy and open boosters and then resell the hits to cover the costs of the keepers? And would also love to see more about the scream Pikachu that hides in the background.
Thank you for asking! In fact most of the money I’m investing comes from outside ventures, from businesses I own, investments I’ve made into businesses others own, both directly, and within the stock market. I am making a little bit of money from buying cards and selling them after appreciating, but I’m funding the higher end pieces of my collection from those outside income generation tools.
So malamar is technically a squid upside down and the cool thing is you evolve it’s previous evolution at a certain level as long as your console is upside down.

It depends on your goals and what you want to do! Open for fun and perhaps pull something good. Hold for long term investment. Or flip for more immediate potential upside.

Fun fact: Inkay and Malamar were released with the XY games and to evolve Inkay into Malamar you have to turn your 3DS upside down when it levels!
Yeah I found that out recently and I was like, okay! So the design of the Pokémon made me flip it over intuitively, hah!

Question for you Pat, what do you think about the new style PSA booster pack cases (the ones that do not require the top and bottom to be folded)? Will it change your collection strategy in any way? Will it make you sell any of your current graded booster packs?
They look amazing! I’ll keep my old ones for now but anything new I’ll be looking for the new slabs and likely now be submitting them to PSA myself, which should in the end be cheaper actually. The old ones I may sell eventually so they all match but it’s also a good story to show in my collection when they changed over.

I really hope they do a Pikachu and Legend of Zelda Crossover. its the 25th anniversary of Pokemon and 35th anniversary of Legend of Zelda so it seems like a logical crossover to celebrate both franchises.
