- In this IoT project, I have shown how to make the Home Automation using NodeMCU ESP8266 and Blynk 2.0 to control 4 relays with real-time feedback. For this smart home project, I have used the FREE plan of the new Blynk IoT platform, so you can easily make this simple IoT-based home automation system to control the appliances with WiFi and manual switches.

Important points:
**In code, you have to update only the BLYNK_TEMPLATE_ID & BLYNK_DEVICE_NAME as shown in the video.
**Keep all the 9 files (.ino & .h) in the same folder.
**You can only control the appliances if the WiFi is connected.
**Please take proper safety precautions while working with high voltages.
During this internet of things tutorial video, I have explained all the steps to configure the new Blynk 2.0 platform for any ESP8266 home automation system. Also explained how to create templates, and add Datastreams (Virtual Pin) in the Blynk IoT cloud account. If the NodeMCU connected with WiFi then you can control the relays from anywhere in the world. And you can also monitor the real-time feedback in the Blynk IoT applications. So with this smart house project, you can convert any appliance to IoT devices and control them through the internet.

Thanks a lot, I met success but had to struggle a bit because the App now has got updated. Moreover I don't have to use the switches/buttons so modified the on value to zero and off value to one and it worked! Looking forward to more such videos from you.

9:17 im getting a problem on the part where you connected the Esp. my Esp is blinking led and is not connecting to the mobile wifi, if says ip configuration failed.

Try the same code, let me know if you face any issues. You can use D4 instead of SD3 in circuit

Thanks for sharing this video. I would suggest one point here as feedback in real time problem. if we connect the components as per this circuit diagram which cause relay failure and getting application damage because of spontaneously changing the ON/OFF in the relay via mobile app . Better we can have 2 way switches in that having 3 pins for connect power signal and not control signal cables. This is suggestion if we are going this real time scenario at home.

i have a 12 volt rely and want to use it for the same project but it needs 12-volt power supply but i don't know how to connect that to rely . its connect to right bottom pin or Center pin. and it still needs GDN or 3-volt pin from esp 8266 or not

Nice project can I do that without push buttons. If yes then please tell me how. Do I need to skip the switch and connect ground directly to GPIO pins.
Sir , it worked and facing a issue that on turning on the loads from manual switches , relay is turning on and off and the manual control isn’t working properly, so its due to 1 way switch?

Hi!this was a great tutorial and was able to control the lights, I watched an older method of this by codemetry and that guy as integreted with ifttt and google assistant
He used google assistant in this and used webhooks in that and he configured with blynks server ip adress but he used digital pin whereas you used digital pin so can you make a tutorial on how to connect ifttt and webhooks?
Ifttt is not free anymore. And I try to use available free platforms in my project
