- Hello enchanted ones! And welcome back to this really fun video!! So if you don’t already know a few weeks back my camera BROKE!! And it has been taken ages getting fixed, and last week my very kind friend lent me hers in the mean time so THANKYOU I wouldn’t be able to do any videos without it as my phone camera is so bad!!
I really hope you enjoy this video, the fairy festival was so fun and I will absolutely be going back next year! I’d love to know what type of fairy you’d become if you had the choice!!

This oak reminds me a lot of the one my dad adored and wanted to become part of, when he died, I had him cremated and dug him all around the roots so he is now a part of the biggest and most magical tree I’ve ever seen 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️💚💚💚xxxxx

When I was little, I spent hour upon hour looking at my Mom's book about gnomes (by Wil Huygen.) I especially loved the diagrams of the gnomes' house in the roots of the tree -- so cozy and homey! And the clothing that they wore! I used to save the pointy hats after a birthday party and cover them with construction paper and wear them as my gnome hats.
So, I suppose I am a gnome!

I'm growing a mini oak tree from an acorn i discarded, little did i know it started growing. totoro would be proud. cate blanchette was allowed to keep her elf ears and got them bronzed so that she could display them in a picture frame, i always thought that was cool.

It is kinda of funny how today I was visiting a Swedish town here in the United States and I actually had stopped and took pictures of some huge oak leaves that I had seen so, I guess I will be carrying those around because they are on my phone. 😁 and well I have a birthday coming up around the solstice and my tree is Oak as well.

You have already won you are the Fairy Queen 🧚♂️ When you mentioned about fairy folklore made me remember something. When my daughter was a little girl a lady told her where we live fairies 🧚♂️ like to live in flowering vines. So I planted Trumpet Vines ,Morning Glories, and Ivy in a corner of our backyard. Thank you for taking us to the fairy festival. I would be a sunflower fairy. My daughter would be a forest fairy. Watching this video was fun and magical.

You looked lovely and so enchanting! My family orignated from Ireland and love our enchanted history. My dad's tree is the oak, mine is the ash, and my sister's is Hawthorne. My sister and I made wands from fallen branches from our individual trees. I am obsessed with trees! I am always bringing leaves, pine cones, acorns, fallen seeds into the house and placing them in special areas around my home. Some I have are 20 years old!

Never worry about passers by staring. I regularly dress up as characters and head off to my local park to take pictures (weird hobby, I know!) and I often got strange looks and people coming up to me. When I say ‘I’m a photographer and it’s just a bit of fun’. No one has ever been nasty.

What a clever costume ❣️ I agree with using as much found and recycled items as possible. I think I'd be more like a dryad who lives as a tree or nyad who lives in the stream. I wish I lived in a lovely forest, but live in a high desert; they do have native little people who are said to hide in our mountains. I do leave offerings in my garden for them. 🌞

You made a beautiful Oak Fairy! I love your costume - I honestly think it was the best one there, from I could see. The others costumes didn't look handmade (maybe that wasn't a requirement?) and at least one looked like an alien fairy. I would never have thought of using sheer curtain panels and a belt to make a skirt! Brilliant!!

Greatly enjoyed this video, I have worked in a costume shop for 15 years so I know the amount of work it took to make your costume. The fact that you made it from articles you already had. I have my wizards costume that I made for carnival in Venice and on special occasions the wizard can still be seen. You will always be my favorite fairy 🧚🍁🌹🍄✨❤️🎩

Your skirt really blended in with the woodland floor, and after making a few out fits for my children over the yrs, I truly appreciate how long it took to sew and cut out your leaves 🍃. Thinking about what fairy I'd be I'm thinking of a yew fairy 🧚♀️ as I'm a protective type of person to all friends and any family, and wish to keep then safe from bad spirit's.
