I really think that it would be cool to see a video of scrubs you'd be willing to buy vs scrubs that you wouldn't because you can easily diy a dupe. Maybe that could extend into a series of buy vs diy for different products, ex. soaps or masks.
I made the coffee body scrub from your other video, got the amber jars and everything. I. LOVE. IT. SO. MUCH. I've NEVER been so soft in my life!! I got Creme Brulee ground coffee, and it smells just beautiful!!
I’ve made many of your recipes including the body scrubs. I haven’t bought a body scrub ever since. There’s no need too when you can make them yourself. Thanks for the recipes 👌🏽
So cleaning up after a scrub is a pain. Like grease everywhere. Not only that, it's hard to come off my skin too. Thank you so much for the glycerine tip because I was about to buy a new scrub and now I don't need to
Maybe try mixing sugar/salt in a little bit of your shower gel/aloe gel/light body lotion if you don’t like the emollient residue of oils on your skin? It will dissolve quicker, but should be less messy 😊
What if you did a video where you remade store-bought body scrubs and compared the price? Like buying a scrub and making a dupe while comparing effectiveness, amount, and price.
*ABETWEENE* , you did it AGAIN!!!! You not *ONLY* provided just *ONE* but *TWO* body scrubs! Your video was the *BOMB* *DOT* *COM* *GIRL* !!!! 💯🔥👏💜 #Grateful.
The only scrubs I’ve ever used in the shower are the st Ives apricot (too abrasive for my face), Dr Teal’s pink Himalayan salt scrub, and crepe erase body polish. They all did an okay job but none of them were game changers. After watching this I’m motivated to make my own and I can’t wait 😊 hopefully they turn out so good that I can just continue DIYing them
I justmade a scrub with anything I’ve in hands: salt, sugar, body wash and lotion. Mix them and just use Iike store-bought scrub 😅 Work like a charm tho my skin feel extremely soft and smooth.
amazing, thanks for this video! ever since I've started to watch your videos, I have started to make my own beauty products and I enjoy it so much. Thanks again for sharing your recipes, will definitely try them!!
Could you do a comprehensive video that goes into detail about everything a typical self care routine/day should consist of for women? As well as why you choose to do each specific thing and how to best do it (i.e. what parts shouldn't you use a body scrub? do you do it after showering or before? what's your routine? do we really need eye cream or is there a natural alternative we can make?) I think it would be really beneficial for those women who never really received this type of self care advice from their mothers... I'm talking about me. I'm those women. 🤦🏽♀️😅 lol
Bring us ALL the recipes! I have made the coffee one and I am going to start making some of your other ones! Love your videos so thank you for sharing.
This was so good and simple to make. I thought it was going to take a long time and be difficult to make, but nope. You rock chica!! Thank you 🙏🏾 so much 😊
I love your videos, so aesthetically pleasing 🥰 and informative. Could you do a body care DIY on SUPER sensitive eczema prone skin? (Body wash, body scrub, moisturizer)
Thank you so much for making this video and listening to our feedback for you. The glycerin tip was exactly what I was needing..and from the sound of these comments a lot of others feel this way too haha. You have such a relaxing voice and a laid back vibe. I love your channel so much! Keep it up! Now I want to know if you have a good recipe for a face mask that saves money and is good for skin the way your body scrub is :)
Hi! I always have coconut oil around, so more recipe suggestions you have would be awesome! I know you've shown us before, but I love learning to use coconut oil in new ways for skin care. Thanks! 💕
Girl you got a new sub from me 😍 I am obsessedddddd with your videos currently binge watching making my ass wanna get out of bed and make myself pretty 😅
I’m still interested in seeing your go-to store bought scrubs though! Would like to see which ones I can try to replicate or to get an idea of other scents/ingredients I would want to mix
Love these recipes - so easy! How do you normally store your body scrubs and homemade skincare products? I used to make them a lot, but I got lazy because I couldn't store them in the shower.
if i want something, i add it to my cart/wishlist then wait...... if a few days go by and im still thinking about it, ill buy it. patience will ween out the things you actually want vs the things u think you want on impulse.
I've seen dermatologists say that salt scrubs aren't good for people's skin because it's drying and the actual shape of it is jagged. be careful if you use it on your face or someplace sensitive 😨
Hello! New subby:) do you already have a coffee scrub recipe? Really enjoying your videos! In the beginning of doing my at home pedi with your help. Thanks again! Oooo and yes a video of scrubs you don’t mind buying would be great!
GURLLL you are such a Natural beauty 🌺 I have everything to make the body scrub except glycerin, where can I purchase it? Thanks for getting this recipe back to us so quickly.tfs🌺 Blessings to you 🙌
Don't use castile soap.. As your skin after waxing is vulnerable and castile soap ph is alkaline it can damage your skin... Anyways. Your videos are awesome.. And you helped me alot... Thanks so much.. Lots of love from India ❤
however im not just altering it for looks or profit, the added soap is functioning as a cleanser to help rinse some of the oil away for those who dont like the feeling on their skin as stated previously.
Good night, I'll try making them. What can be used instead of candelilla wax? Why I love the store bought products are because of their strong scent and colours? What strong scents can be used and what colour can be added. Thanks for your advice
its optional so you can just skip the wax. you can purchase fragrance oils from many places online or in craft stores, as well as mica to change the color.
I wonder if I'm the only bootlegger who has put sugar in conditioner and lotion and just use that because like you said the oil feeling is annoying! Or the oil clogs razors smh
Is it just me or does coconut oil sometimes have a weird smell? When I apply it it smells nice but then like the next day it leaves a weird smell on my skin and clothes
I have a question, I know you’re not a doctor but I’ve noticed I tend to get some white build up around the opening of my lips. I don’t know why but it bothers me. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced this, if so, what does it mean?
Usually a sign of dehydration. Drink more water. And moisturize your lips. Also could be a bit of candida or oral thrush. If you have a white coating on your tongue and in the back of your throat as well. from a diet heavy in processed foods and sugars or contracted sexually.
How about honey as an ingredient? Actually it's my facial wash tool because I cant" support any soap or even rhassoul clay. I really like your skincare content as I get to discover your videos
We have a lot of unused Himalayan salt I shall now use for scrubs thank you. Can we add essential oils for fragrance or does that dry out skin? (Like eucalyptus etc)
Thx so much for sharing! Can these recipes be interchangeable? Like for the salt recipe can I replace the salt for brown sugar and vice versa? I don’t want to add the rose pedals & rosehip but everything else in the salt recipe but with brown sugar.
i’m like hyper aware of how weird this is gonna sound but your eyelids and lips have such perfect beautiful coloring
I cant stop looking at the area below her nose. It's so perfet.
Jasmine
She’s not wearing lipstick and eyeshadow? Wow. I agree with you.
i am wearing makeup 😁
It's the shape though😅
abetweene can we get a video please? 😭
I really think that it would be cool to see a video of scrubs you'd be willing to buy vs scrubs that you wouldn't because you can easily diy a dupe. Maybe that could extend into a series of buy vs diy for different products, ex. soaps or masks.
'Buy vs Diy'... catchy 🤔 👍🏾
that was the plan if you guys wanted to see it 😘 glad we’re on the same page 😁
Co-signing this Buy vs Diy !!
I made the coffee body scrub from your other video, got the amber jars and everything. I. LOVE. IT. SO. MUCH.
I've NEVER been so soft in my life!! I got Creme Brulee ground coffee, and it smells just beautiful!!

feel free to ditch the oil and just use glycerin
Maybe try mixing sugar/salt in a little bit of your shower gel/aloe gel/light body lotion if you don’t like the emollient residue of oils on your skin? It will dissolve quicker, but should be less messy 😊
@@blushandsky I actually never thought of this. I'm gonna try this next. Tysm
@@abetweene I did it last night, and it was so good. My skin is still really soft, without the greasy feeling. Tysm for this recipe 💗

Thanks for the tutorial!! 🍭 By the way... Your face skin looks fenomenal!! Do you use any DIY products on your face? If so, please share!!
I use a salt and coffee scrub. My husband makes fresh coffee everyday so rather than waste it I save the weeks and make scrubs. Smells so good!
