👉👉🚨 🚨 ERROR FIXES --- READ ME 🚨🚨 👈👈 This video was done on a M2 Mac Studio, I can confirm to have updated, jailbroken and further used my switch on my m2 mac, silicon mac works! "Could not connect to device , try reconnecting or restarting your device." This is a common error while using Android file transfer that I've come across, there's two easy fixes. 1. Make sure certain mac apps are closed, the "preview app" when open causes this error to appear for me, every time. So try with all apps closed. 2. Make sure to use the right USB C cable, one that can transfer data. Not all USB C cables do this, so make sure to use an appropriate one. - - - - - - - - - - - If youre installing a game and it cancels or doesn't work after 100% here's a few things that fixed this issue for me. Also read the notes in DBInstaller, it will tell you what's wrong. 1. Update Atmosphere, hekate and your switch firmware. Some games require certain official firmware to run. **This fixed my issue personally** 2. Sig patches are not up to date. 3. Some games simply won't work because of region, file type (NCI vs NSP) or just how they are dumped. Try other kinds. Good luck!
Hi, I read somewhere that it has to be a USB A to USB C cable (which has to be through a dock), but is a USB C to USB C cable able to do this? How do I know if the cable is usable for file transfer? Thanks! I'm using a Mac M1 Pro btw
how would it work when a game has update nsp files or DLC? Do i just go on and install them like base game files(drag and drop em on android file transfer)? And what software should i use to extract rar files which have multiple parts? I used winrar on windows but idk its weird on m1 macs.
@@rokkumangaming7690 yup you just highlight em all, drag and drop and it’ll install them! You can also install them separately after new updates and dlc get released. The beauty of dbinstaller, it does it all for you.
@@rokkumangaming7690 for extraction on Mac I like Keka a lot! It’s opened stuff other software wouldn’t. I made a video about Mac apps I really like that are free.
Sorry, I'm having an issue with Android File Transfer. After I run the 'Run MTP responder', I get a error notice on my Mac for Android File Transfer saying: Could no connect to device: Try reconnecting or restarting your device. Do you think it's a permissions thing? It does pop up by itself though. Thanks!
A weird fix I found for this, is to make sure apps/software are closed on your Mac. Having Preview and some other apps interfere with Android file transfer for some very weird reason, preview was the one app that directly caused the issues. Closing it fixed my issue.
so basically this is not viable on Mac M1 right ? Any1 can do it on M1 Mac ? Because the folder switch is not gonna appear so we cannot copy DBI ( right first step of this guide lmao )
@@DuongNguyen-gv8qr this was done on a m2 Mac, so it works on silicon, I just added new games and apps to my switch a few minutes ago. I assure you it works.
@ could you tell me how to the folder switch appear on your screen ? I see at the comment below, there are people struggling too.( included me T.T ). And the file android transfer it said there is no android detected ….
@@DuongNguyen-gv8qr Two things to do, first make sure the USB C cable youre using one that can send data. The second thing some mac apps don't let the switch connect to the mac, I posted in another comment. The "Preview" app on mac when it's open won't let my switch connect, so make sure to close all apps and try.
Hey, uhhh, just as a fair warning, I'd advise against using DBI (like you did in the video) for your switch to install games since the developer threatened to put malware inside their source code speifically to target english speakers designed to perma brick/break your nintendo switch. We dont know why, but it is currently not safe to use DBI in any capacity, please don't reccomend it to people 😅

hi I have updates with rar file how do i install them?
You need to use something like unarchiver to open those compressed rar files. Then whatever was in those rar files you would drop into AFT
