I believe Mike Redpath is extremely knowledgeable about many things especially Bellanca. We are very fortunate to have him and his willingness to do some of the paint and fabric repairs our birds sometimes require. I can’t wait to see the final product.

I agree. It takes someone well versed in these planes to keep them in tip top shape and safe.

Hello, WY Fly Guy from Sydney, Australia.
Thank you for showing your Bellanca. Some of the issues that Appear to me are:
    1. The fabric degrading around windows. I wonder how to preserve to stop further breakdown.
    2. The NAV lights on wings, should they be red/green or combo landing lights?
    3. The stringer line under fabric on the wing top. Is that a concern for laminar flow over?
    4. The gaps between fuselage and wings: do you have covers to direct air over and under?
    Happy Easter

The fabric and paint around the windoes is being repaired. The nav lights are brand new and in great shape. The clear covers are old and will be replaced. The crack on the wing is merely paint and will be watched but no repair is needed yet. The wing fairings were simply removed for inspection and will be reinstalled. Cheers!
