Really enjoyable film. I liked the focus on the Burnham and Tilly characters. The actress who portrayed Burnham did a nice job capturing her character.
"I have watched this office, as I have, for 40-years. Believing, oneday, that others like me would walk through that door; that my hope was not in vain. Today is that day, and that hope is you." - Aditya Sahil, STD
Nice way to blend TOS and Disco elements; I do hope those 79 rescued officers and crew get a thorough medical analysis to make sure there aren’t any leftover active alien cybernetics!
Or DNA code added.

More classic, traditional Star Trek in the style of DISCOVERY! in addition to some remarkable special effects, it is amazing how this motion picture starred two ladies who look and act just like the real Michael Burnham and Silvia Tilly from DSC! 🙂
I bet you all had a lot of fun making that- well done.
Super job by all no matter those who've done nothing in there lives and cutting you folks down below, you are all stars, lighting, writing and all who used there personnel magic creating and sharing of there selves, thank you all and super job 🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
"For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky"
I enjoyed watching . Fun idea. I think everyone did a great job.
Very Awesome!
GREAT STORYLINE AND ALSO GREAT VIDEO SPECIAL EFFECTS, JUST WISH IT WAS A LONGER STORY TY SO MUCH
I love it so much that young people still like the original Star Trek and Enterprise!!!! It's been 60 years and it's still popular.
Nice 1!
Good job guys and gals.
Very nicely done everyone.
Interesting how you retconned the ship class to a pre TOS class and made SNW class the “official” class of TOS.
It pays about as much respect to canon as the real STD. 🙄
Not the GREATEST fan film I've seen but it was nicely executed. Good job.
The Shuttle is flippin' awesome!!
Did anyone else notice ... Ensign Pulver? "I just threw your damn palm trees overboard... now what's all this crap about no movie tonight?' (Mr. Roberts) Also ... Dykstra? As in special effects wiz John Dykstra? Nice little in jokes.
Great job, Great effects, Loved it!
Very cool!!! Very well done!!
Wow, your TOS-era props, sound effects, sets and models are just on point! Really amazing stuff. Nice work folks.
Great job guys. Like the story and the FX are very nice. Well done!
Spectacular job! Well done! Really enjoyed the show!
Congratulations Team Tesi. I thought everyone involved did an outstanding job. The story, the acting, the fx, music everything was just great. I want more!!!!! :)
Awesome job Guys !!!
Good idea not to 'engage' the Borg ship. That Cony Class wouldn't have stood a chance against it. Nice crossover of TOS / Disco. Beautiful set.
Really enjoyed this - great to see elements of Discovery included in a fan film. 😀
Great job!! And a post credits scene too!
Faster than light no left or right.
Lots of fun. Great work, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
What an interesting mix of both TOS and Discovery. Very nice.
It's good, but one flaw , Borg do no take prisoners, the crew would be directly assimilated ... or would be in the process of assimilation. The crew that came back were still the same.. Micheal mentions archers reports but no mention of phlox way to fight the Borg assimilation
Thanks very much Ray! it's always a pleasure to work with you and the Neutral Zone crew.
Great job to making discovery crew do such a good job and likeness plus now we know the borg were someone how there but not as smart yet. Thankfully 😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤well done.
Such a first class act, everything was perfect. Awesome job done and please, bring us more!
Some nice technical work. Too many plot holes for me though. Two days to repair the ship but the crew has only been gone a day. That's a plot hole you can drive a truck through. The engineering ensign on the Constitution being less capable than jumped up cadet Tilly? Tilly didn't even finish the Academy. Archer never saw a Borg cube either if memory serves correctly.
you got to make tilly and burnham look good
There are some mistakes. The borgs during NX 01 time was from the future from the Star Trek first contact. Plus the suppose borg vessel wasn't a borg vessel. They simulated a ship and turn it into a borg ship. When The NX 01 approached the Borg ship. The borgs didn't see NX 01 as a threat until the NX 01 took action to make them as a threat. So when Michael order the crew to approach the ship on thrusters. The borgs still saw your ship but didn't take any action because it was not a threat to the borgs. The borg ship can easily take over the ship. Other than that it was still good.
I was the VFX artist for the film. Originally, I explored building and texturing a CG model similar to the assimilated ship seen in the ENT episode "Regeneration," but since dialogue described the ship as a cube, I had to shift directions. In my mind, the cube seen in this film is much smaller than a traditional Borg cube, bigger than a Constitution-class starship but not by much. It's a long-range scouting vessel that looks like an early version of the tactical cube seen in VOY.
Not exactly canon, I know. (And believe me, I know. I've got a 30 year old collection of Trek technical manuals, blueprints, and sourcebooks on my shelves.) But, I think it worked for this film.
You're right that was a tactical Cube from Voyager like the one that they search for spare parts on I think a transworth coil!
Fantastic work, thank you!
Nice to see the Discovery characters in a fan film! Great work! :)
Awesome work on the production as well as a great crossover storyline. I commend your work, Ray and the entire crew/staff!
Great job everyone. Thanks for the show.
This is amazing. So good to see fans taking the time and effort to do this. Bravo.
Outstanding!
I've always thought that the whole 'Borg won't respond until you threaten them' was a serious disadvantage when you boarded their cubes. What's to stop someone from boarding and planting anti-matter charges all around the cube and then detonating them?
The first time.... nothing. The second time, the Borg will have adapted to such techniques and neutralize the charges before they can be detonated. Stopping one cube never stops the Borg.
Why board anybody, just beam it over and detonate
I feel like they'd realise the charges were a threat and act accordingly. The problem is I think this line is no longer being used in the way it was originally meant to. When they first came to this conclusion they figured that even a small group of individuals were practically inconsequential to the collective as a whole so the Borg wouldn't attack unless they were provoked. Since then it's been shown on multiple occasions not to be the case. The Borg understand individuality and that other lifeforms can cause damage on their own without the backup of a collective. Maybe they won't immediately attack but they'll surely be more observant should anyone board. Does that make sense?
Yes. And logical... possibly more logical than is often shown.@@uosdwiSrdewoH
The Borg in the alpha quadrant in the twenty third century, a whole bunch of them should have assimilated more people into drones but the seventy nine people rescued only had some implants and they left the ship damaged and the junior officer's alone but not assimilated which is not Borg standard operating perceedcer so something is strange is going down here and in my opinion they were too busy repairing the ship to complete the assimilation of the crew.... bottom line those Borg were slipping eight ways from Sunday 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏!!!!!!
we saw that in voyager where if enough drones are dead the cube is basically crippled.
Fantastic work!!! Love it!! Downloading and adding to my library!!
Great fun! Well done!
Well that was pretty darn slick. Good acting writing sets costumes. Hope to see more!
Thanks 🖖
Well done! Nice to see the two eras of the original series 1960s Enterprise brought into line with Discovery. Sad to hear recently that this will be Discovery's last season. It has come a long way the past two years when they moved to the 31st century. Thank you for a job well done! :)!
32nd century not 31st!
the blk female transporter operator look just like a resident on one of my properties crazy!!!
A great film! I don't know why but i just found it?
I enjoyed that thoroughly!
My species has no thumbs so I give it 2 horns up!
Awesome job on this fan film. I love the crossover idea.
Thanks!
This was awesome 😎 thank you.
Beautiful sets!
Fascinating (as Spock would say) Discovery officers aboard the Connie. Seems Timey Whimey to me.
Was thinking something like that. I enjoyed it but It’d be like a 60’s TOS character in gold uniform turning up in The Wrath of Khan. Bit confusing 🥴
not really they're basically mixing the two aesthetics together. since the discovery uniforms are still in use in the 2250s and the constitution class was sporting the TOS style uniforms we just see the change from the audience perspective but i'll assume that the season 3 TOS uniforms were supposed to be what they were wearing in the 2250s just no budget for the pilot.
Very nice! I enjoyed the story, the acting was great as was the visuals. Keep it up!
Fun show!!!! Ty
Good work!!
Brilliantly done
Albright, are you kidding?
This is the first time I see these characters acting as adults.
Hello. Even though "Prodigy" is my #1 current "Star Trek" show, I love this fan production.
Well said🖖
@@Raggedymannn Thank you!
This was great!
Ray Tesi did an Awesome job as well as all the others. But I especially enjoyed the Camera Angles, Lighting, Special Effects and Music !!! KUDOS to All !!!
Nice Job on the final project! Some great editing by Ray Test and spectacular VFX by Keith Hamilton! Great work by the actors and crew! Congratulations on the release of this new film!
I guess one can call that maneuver against the Borg as a "sneak & Snag". Sneak up to the Borg cube ship and snag the hostages without being detected. Well done to all in this episode.
Awesome film! Great work Ray Tesi and team!
Thank you to our Neutral Zone family!!
This was excellent!!
I loved it 👍
Very nice. Cool that the Borg cube looks less advanced than the 24th century version
Curious question: did the writers of this fan film actually watch ENT: Regeneration? Or did they skip that one and guessed about how things went down in that episode. Cos this was a complete miss and every reference was totally wrong! Not just the cube, as said below - but Archer rescuing his crew by sneaking up on a Borg vessel and beaming them off safely... nope. Never happened that way! In fact, Archer only tried to save 2 aliens and they were already in the process of assimilation - Archer blasted them into space. NX-01 never snuck up on the Borg ship - the first approach, Hoshi was trying to hail them. The second approach was more aggressive with NX-01 firing phasers to disable the ship so Archer and Reed could board it, and Archer discovered that there are no longer any human lifesigns anymore on the arctic researchers. Then, they blow the thing up with bombs and about a dozen photon torpedoes.
The good, though: Tilly's actress was remarkable! Burnham's actress got her down pat, but was actually a bit more over the top than how SMG plays the role.
Everything else was confusing. Like, when was this supposed to take place? Nothing fits into continuity so was there time travel? Also, was this filmed after the reveal of Robert April's race swap? Because if Disco characters are involved, shouldn't April be black instead of TAS white? It doesn't fit...
A nice attempt at a "what if" but... it played out more like a parody than anything else.
The other stuff you guys did, though - the time travel episode - was pretty good! Keep up the great work!
This one, though, was a miss.
Very interesting this visually feels more like how Discovery should have been. Just parts of TOS verbatium with small amounts of new tech, uniforms and characters added to further the story. Not just a dramatically major retcon of all elements and technology just to seem "newer".
Someone made a boo-boo, Robert April was commander of the Enterprise before Chris Pike's tenure.
that's a good catch. they literally couldve used any other captain and bam this film would've been flawless.
Not a “boo-boo”. The ship depicted in this film is not the Enterprise. It’s the Constitution. As this film took place after April commanded The Enterprise, it’s perfectly reasonable to assume he could be commanding another ship after commanding the Enterprise.
April accepts promotion to Admiral and became Starfleet Commander, he is the "Bob" Kirk speaks to in one of the episodes.
@@allanwhite5747 This film takes place at least 10 years prior to TOS. There's no established date for his promotion. You could maybe say that the SNW episode establishes that he's an admiral by that episode. But this fan film takes place at least two years prior to that episode. This fan film was also shot before that episode was released. So, it's only a 'Boo-boo" in your mind.
April commanded the USS Tiberius for 3 five year missions before taking command of the Enterprise, the Tiberius was his first command as a Captain.
Great job! I'm not a big fan of the Borg being in "Enterprise" and in TOS because they were unknown when Picard met them. I did really like the overhead bridge shot, nice work... Not really sure about the plot of "sneaking up" on a Borg cube, but otherwise I enjoyed it. :-)
I caught the Easter eggs with the crew names Dykstra and Pulver. Very clever.
Michael did not cry, so not good at all...😅
🖖
THE first appearance of the Borg!!! AWESOME SAUCE
I really enjoyed this video! It's really too bad that it couldn't be a 1/2 hour show to put more details into the story.
This was an excellent fan production. I think paramount limits the length of fan productions. Regardless this was extremely good.
Can't say I care for the hacked up Discovery and Archer era series and how they mucked with the TOS cannon and lore, but I appreciate the the passion put into this fan made effort.
The borg made all of them fat as hell.
❤❤❤
How did you get those sets??.Maybe they were left over from Star Trek Continues?
Whatever it takes!!!!
Great effects…
I did the visual effects. Thank you!
WHAT IS THAT AT 4:15
Commission a new ships.... NCC 2141- USS MIDWAY (Neo Constitution Class) ... NCC 2052- USS Pasadena (California Class)
Loved this episode. At 10:25 is that a TO-66 bipolar transistor package stuck to his face
Ha ha! Yes! Good catch!
I love fan fiction Star Trek, but the Borg fan fiction should stay in the proper timeframe of TOS. Yes, I know Enterprise went there but they didn't allow the borg to survive.
Another Tale from the Neutral Zone done in true TNZ-Style! Well done!! Great film! Great story Ray!
Ensign Pulver. Lol 😝. I get it!
Great job in all aspects! VFX, lighting, music, makeup, acting, story, etc. 2 questions: thought gold was command on Constitution class? What episode did Archer encounter Borg on?
I did the VFX. Thank you! "Regeneration" is the name of the Enterprise episode with the Borg (though they were never named, I don't think).
Why is everyone in Starfleet overweight?
So ... when Pike took command of Discovery, he put on a Discovery style uniform within one day so that he wouldn't stand out as separate from the crew.
And Burnham after at least two days to a week on the Constitution?
Still in her Disc. uniform.
I hope she washed it.
Only Star Trek captain who never had a problem with the Borg? Yeah. All right.
pike was temporarily assigned to the discovery as its new captain. makes sense.
burnham was not going to assume command of the constitution.
ace
A Mary Sue story? Jeez.
It's acting him but not as we know it
Ensign Pulver, heh. :-)
