Trek Shorts is proud to present Emma Thornes next film and first Star Trek/Stargate Cross over story!! (Yes there are more!)
On a journey back to the USS Indianapolis, Ensign Reed and Ensign Stuart encounter a strange anomaly, one which brings a massive craft into their path. This ship is not from our universe and its presence alone will cause incalculable damage, Ensign Reed must jump into action and save the day.
Thank you to everyone who supported the 2021 & 2022 Trek Shorts Indiegogo, without your funding we would not have been able to get this fan and we hope you will come back and support the 2023 Trek Shorts Indiegogo which will begin in the middle of the year!
If you enjoyed this film then put a comment down below!

i would advice you dont make any money off of that caus you might get into legal trouble if you do
The moment you realize Gould ships would be really cool Cardassian ones with a little modification you could have a fleet of DS9 Alkeshes🤣
Loved the mix of Star Trek and Stargate and Emma Thorne’s acting is always a pleasure!
She’s such a wonderful actress
Love Emma Thorne as Ensign Laura Reed; a credit to the fleet!
She is indeed Gabe! She does wonderful in each film...and we have plenty more with her already filmed!

I honestly had no idea Emma did these. I didn't know she could act. That's awesome. She looks good in a Trek uniform. It suits her. She definitely lives up to Starfleet standards
Emma is wonderful, she has brilliant comedic timing.
Was there a backstory for Ensign Reed. I'd like to find out about that shuttlepod incident and her level 3 rating. She seemed alright in this film.
I might add: she CAN'T act...
Emma is one wonderful Little Duck in any size pond !
I gotta wonder who in universe approved the shuttle being named Skeleton Hands, lol.
....I know right but...we all know where its come from..OZZIE!
What did you think of the film? Any bits you liked especially?
@@SGUDistantHope I always enjoy seeing that actress in these. Reminds me of early Ezri Dax. The shuttle exterior and interior was a nice classic look too.
I feel like I should know what that monster ship was but I can't quite recall. And was that foreshadowing about the runabout? Gonna see her in that next?
@@GoodOldGamer Thank you!
...It's one of Ba'al's ships, as hinted ay by the musical cue! This is part 2 of the storyline which we started last year with "New Mission"
And.....Runnabout....maybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :P
@@GoodOldGamer Goauld Ha'Tak, or "Mothership." Off of SG-1. It looks great on here!
@@dragonsword7370 I figured it was something like that. I guess my brain wasn't accounting for a crossover, lol. I thought maybe it was a fan concept of a new alien ship, but it also seemed familiar at the same time.
Very good acting, a funny story and a solid presentation! 9/10 for a Fan-Production!
Thanks Beda, 9/10....high praise indeed!

Very nice. Very nice... indeed. For me, the dialog between the characters was probably the high point. You even managed to get character growth into a ten minute movie. The solution was a bit too reverse-the-polarity for me, but that's been a feature of Trek forever, and it certainly didn't stop me from enjoying it. And I liked you getting the Stargate theme worked into the end credit music.
I knew it! The real reason we never hear about stories like this outside of the flagship is that they just don't care! Medical didn't even bother to check if she had formed anomalous memories. Imagine the amount of finds sitting right under our noses, that we're just missing out on because all we care about is star power!
it's a shame she couldn't keep the Ha'tak
@@thanqualthehighseer I know
@@thanqualthehighseer i can see her now, coming back to her reality, with the Gou’ald Ha’Tak mothership coming along with her. And, wherever she goes, it comes along with her to protect her & be her friend. “Look, Captain!! I found this cute Gou’ald mothership just following me home😁😁! Can we keep Her?? Please??”
We definitely need more versions of lower decks, just imagine how many exciting adventures we're missing from all those b teams out there
@StarFleet_Tech 1701 yes but not all of us enjoy animation, not enough imagination I guess.
A brilliant, wonderful, exciting, heartfelt episode of all these curious “What Ifs”, & how she handled them all expertly. So moving and poignant. Fantastic all around!! More, please….
Everyone involved in this is incredibly... almost disgustingly talented.

This was great! I loved how the music matched the period as dimensions and time shifted. Great job all around!
That was fun to do, all those themes and somehow they had to fit together...Sam dreams up fantastic things to play with.
Also with star gate…not bad
I love to see the interaction of Star Trek and Stargate fandoms!
This, I think, is a great idea for a movie.
Lol when I saw the Ha'Tak I was like "Yes!". Would of been fun to see starfleet negotiate with the Jaffa or Goa'uld.
@@davidgipe997 Star Trek is no stranger to stories in alternate realities or timelines, so a cross-over event with the Goa-uld could work. Why? Because the timelines we know of (Prime, Mirror/Terran Universe, Kelvin), just happen to be timelines where the Stargate system was never found or created to begin with.
What's stopping Star Fleet (or an SG team) from crossing over realities? It's only logical.
@@dzomlija an Alternate McKay already built a ship that could cross over in other Universes and then there's the Quantum mirror they've used before. It was claimed it was destroyed in SG1 but it could have been a lie so that the higher ups could conduct operations to go in and out of Universes to pilfer technologies.
Loved the appearance of the Goa'uld mothership. This was pretty cool, great job.
Thanks Trent! It is only the beginning of the crossover adventure! Really fun for Stargate fans, i know i had a lot of fun making those shots!

Very good. The 2001: A Space Odyssey poster is a nice touch. Thank you for your contributions to the Star Trek fan film universe. 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Allot of fun and the main actor Emma Thorne was great. The slight musical ‘cues’ to each era and series where a lovely touch, you’ve earned a ‘like’ and a subscriber. The only suggestion would be to have some more detail in the summery section, maybe the credits listed their as well as in the credits scroll, just easier to to searches with. Also chapter breaks would be nice, even with a short like this. Keep up the awesome work
Nice use of the Star Trek (2009) theme in episode and at the end to tie into possible alteranate realities, as established with Worf in the TNG episode "Parallels"!
😊😊😊😊
And I love the inside joke from Ensign Stuart about having a voice for news, considering Matts' RUclips channel!
😂😂😂😂
"Hi! I'm Dimensional Eddie! What can I do for you?"

I liked the the transitions with the accompanying music from the show when Ensign Reed was shifting between the various era outfits. I hope the USS Indianapolis fares better than it's WW2 US Navy namesake.
My favourite part of this was pulling all the different themes together, it's very effective.
Very nicely done and she suits the uniform. I love the 2001: A Space Odyssey poster on the wall which is her favourite film.
Very entertaining! I feel like this pretty well captured that essence of that era of Trek as well. Always great to see Emma in this context.
Admit it, you just wanted to show off how Reed looks in various uniforms XD I especially loved her in the TOS red one; though the red hairstyle later on was great, too, considering that I like to use that style when going clubbing as well :D - though I can deal with the two strands rather well compared to Reed :P Maybe I'll use my red TOS uniform with that hairstyle for an upcoming geek party in July to honor her ;)
Hopefully we'll get more interaction between ST and SG, especially with Reed involved (great, now I want to go and read SG/ST fics... :/ ). And she so has to get to play around with the runabout :D
Loved the 2001 poster in Reed's quarters
Emma fit's in to a Trek set and role very well ..
First saw your wonderful films in the watch streams at Mac's World Entertainment I loved all of the films and this one is awesome as well Thank you all for your hard work in creating them. ❣🍃🌹🍃❣
Well done Samuel!
Great writing as usual!
Also especially liked the design of the interdimensional ship and the integration of special effects, extremely well done.
The background of the shuttle is very good, the actors' lighting possibly just a tiny bit too bright.
I appreciated the 2001poster Easter egg in the end scene, all of the ship texturing and rendering was great, the music has been consistently fantastic and the acting very good!
Still not a fan of artificial film scratch when such an effort is made for everything else to be pristine and 16:9 but I get it's a style ;)
When everything is digital, sharp, clear and so perfect, for me a artificial film scratch is a bit distracting, but I get most people won't notice and it's designed to be a subliminal way to make it feel more like film.
I've seen others go further and add a slightly out-of-focus / smeary look to make digital look more like 35 mm, and I just feel like once you made a step into superior digital movie making, it's a bit of anachronism to try to add from an earlier source.
But, some filmmakers make movies in black-and-white and 4:3 and add lots of static and "film shimmy" , Chaplin frame rate and even those old cigarette burn edit marks in the upper right corner most films had.
I'm glad you're not doing that too;
I guess I can handle an occasional replicated film scratch LOL 😉
🎉🎉🎉🎉 great job! 😊 kissed every second. Ensign on her own making big decisions and not getting killed. Bravo!
Very good!! 🖖😊
In my head-cannon, there was a post-credit scene of Ensign Stuart’s eyes flashing like a Goa'uld…No more transporters for him!

Interesting story, sadly, not once did she ever inquire the computer as to what happened to her shuttle companion. That would have been one of the 1st things I would have asked. Nicely done.
As a kid of the 80's, coming of age with Picard, Data, and co., this is eerily similar to what I imagined one of my adventures up in space would entail.
Cheers for making it happen, and kudos to the actress!

These fan made ST films are so much better than current 2017 onwards official Star Trek. They have kept the Star Trek positive ethos and principles, the episodic story approach
So much better than ST Discovery and Lower decks

I was a little skeptical of the SG crossover premise, but it wasn’t too heavy handed, and the universe jumping became truly entertaining and a little bit of funny. Actors, production value, the “feel” of Trek were all present in abundance. Another marvelous film from Samuel Cockings and crew-fine work!

@@SGUDistantHope I did particularly enjoy the actors-my favorite part of your Trek Shorts. Character driven and well written. That’s the key! So, yes, the character driven narrative has always been your strong suit, and continues to be, something missing from most fan films.
