Those poor people. Miserably wet, hot & flooded for many days to come.
I live here
Luckily didn’t get flooded just lots of water on the road
Stay safe!
Just imagine if it was a 5....
2 million folks lost power over a cat 1? What's going on?
It’s a strong category one, with longer more sustained high winds, and the eastern side of the storm hit a very very populated area. 3-5 million ppl directly hit with 80-100 mph winds is no bueno. Also bad infrastructure and planning 😢❤
@@Ilovesports25I’ve never been in such a strong storm, they said where I was it was only going to be 60mph gusts but it looked more like 70mph and so scary.
Well, texas got what they voted for . . .
@@patrickwalsh4615 no one deserves to go through pain and loss, doesn’t matter who voted for what, everyone is a human being and deserves life. We lost 8 people with this storm.
@ashleym5440 hmm . . . If only there was a precedent of people dying due to loss of power during storms in texas . . . Oh wait . . .
Wow that buccees needs to survive
Texas seems to have a real issue with customers being without power for long stretches of time repeatedly and is it true the Governor is responsible for this because of corrupt deals with energy companies ??? What are they going to do to make Texas communities more resilient and resistant to flooding and the other elements that are commonly disastrous there ? So that their citizens aren't continuing to suffer these crisis situations repeatedly qhich are and can be readky and cost millions to clean up How much would it cost to create flood resistent communities set up to redirect water and ansorb water and manage the water in a productive and beneficial manner containing or controling where it goes .re distributing it where it can be used or is needed ?
Should be gone by "Next Week"!
