@@kizaruthegreat Ah haha yeah I know, everything in Warhammer 40K snubs pretty much all Sci fi, but it'd be kinda funny to see the Locust get more and more progressively pushed back by the Orks and see them freak out about how badly they're getting their ass kicked. However, locust are probably stronger and tougher than your average guardsmen, so maybe they can put up a fight. But without a doubt a sea of green would take Sera lmao.

I hope the do make an RTS game one day because I loved tactics and gears of war is way to huge to not have an rts because I'm trying see some crazy big battles,death,destruction I need it hopefully they know gears of war is just more then an turned base game shit! Maybe a company of heroes type game fr!
That’s interesting. Personally, I’d want some of the cut Hollow creatures to act as roaming environmental hazards that attack anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. That would make gameplay more interesting.
Too bad Gears Tactics didn’t have mod support, a map/level editor, and multiplayer. Those three things would’ve dramatically elevated the game and kept it alive through user generated content. MCC coming to pc with mod support is quite likely one of the BEST things that could ever happen to Halo. The reason Doom, Half-Life, Minecraft, Skyrim, and various other games have been able to stay relevant is because on top of an already solid gameplay loop they’re EXTREMELY moddable.
They could have recycled the Shirtless Theron/Grenadier hybrid and made them elite Palace Guard, maybe like Queen's Personal Guard or something. Maybe make them like really elite Grenadiers or a separate class altogether. I even propose a name concept, "Palace Guard Master-At-Arms" or conversely, "Queensman".

Also the concept of prosthetic arm/limb weapon for some COG gears that lost a limb from a past battle would have been absolutely badass and gives me subtle Warhammer space marine vibes. Along with some of the hollow creatures and lead wretches would be absolutely SICK!

Honestly Gears Tactics could’ve been a dlc campaign for either gears 4 or 5

lore wise i hated gears tactics but gameplay wise it wasn't that bad. I'd still like an early locust war game with fully armored and equipped gears.
The half life 2 beta is still the king of cut content

I’m glad they didn’t do the wretches with weapons because that would of made no sense.
This was fascinating. I didn't get far in Gears Tactics due to not really liking the gameplay, but i did watch the cutscenes. It makes sense these wouldn't make the final cut given tactics is a prequel similar to judgement. I'm hopeful gears 6 will revisit them and we get some new enemies. Maybe instead of a Wretch carrying the scorcher you could have a Juvie do it? That Hydra concept could be applied to a mini boss perhaps? Abz you do the Gears universe the justice Microsoft has yet to do. Thanks for another lore video, and i look forward to the next one. Unrelated, but if we can't get Gears 6 can we at least get some Pedulum Wars games? There's easily enough material for a game plus DLC.

The wretches with weapons look like gremlins try to take cog raven
could you talk about the technology of Sera and how advanced is in comparison?
If you think about it that pneumatic weapon could be a game changer. If gears implements breakable/moveable cover into the multiplayer, imagine what you could do with this thing. When its fully powered up you could shoot blasts of air that destroys cover into bits and pieces wounding or even killing enemies who are crouching on the other side of them.
Even when it isnt fully powered this weapon would not be completely useless as it would allow you to crush enemies by pushing cover towards them which would swiftly slide against the ground pushing them with it while they sit on the other side and crushing them into a nearby wall creating a bloody mess.
I like the idea of mechanical arms as shown in one of the concept arts, so i think this 'air gun' could be physically part of the character we play as and in multiplayer it would be optional.
Now, i know this would be extremely over powered ingame but there are ways it could be worked around. For instance it could take a long time to fully power up for releasing a shot or its possible that its shots could be maneuverable once you develop the skill for it.
Or perhaps it would be a better idea if the gun had to be charged up like the embar?

Too bad Sony has completely abandoned all these great ips they have. Instead of crying to the governments of the world to help preserve their market dominance during the Activision Blizzard merge they should’ve instead made a plan to resurrect a lot of their older ips with Resident Evil/Dead Space style remakes and/or MCC styles collections. That would act as a great way to bring a lot of older games into the spotlight, and then they could’ve continued using those different brands (if they ever bring back Parappa the Rapper they NEED to include Chris Chan’s beyond atrocious song he made in a failed attempt to win a contest🤣).
I'm going to be honest I've never heard of gears tactics but I'll just say it's an ok game in my opinion

TACTICS COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT AND AWESOME GAME AS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PREQUAL TO THE OG GEARS 1 BUT THIS TACTICS IS STRAIGHT UP ASS
