And that's honestly enough as far as I'm concerned. I don't play competitively so I just like spamming the same atk and one shotting stuff in story mode. can't say how many other people see it my way though
The thing is, they are thinking with a competitive mindset. They are taking into account a pokemon's viability in battle, but your average player doesn't do that when thinking of their favorite pokemon.
