For me personally, these are some of the best arrangements I've ever done because they're with some of the best people ever. I couldn't have done it without these amazing, incredible musicians and am so pleased with how this album turned out and I know you will be too! Thank you so, so much for all the love and support. Rounding out this extremely auspicious day is track 6 from the new album, the theme for Auresco, the capital of Torna, hometown of second best boy Addam Origo (Jin being best boy of course I love them both ok 😭❤️). THIS ARRANGEMENT LITERALLY CAME TOGETHER IN A WEEK FROM START TO FINISH NO LIE 😂 back in November I got all crazy and was like welllllllll we've wanted to do this one forever I'LL JUST WRITE IT and pulled out a version I had dashed off for viola/cello/oboe during a creative bender pre-Magfest in 2019 and expanded it for violin and piano. Lucky for us @PitTan was on board to record in a pinch and we reached out to a local cellist friend we used to play with all the time, mmhashbrowns, just for old time's sake to do the cello part and it all just kinda fell together lol. The piano is mostly filler for those sweet string lines so my part was kinda noodly ahaha. Though I gotta say, I do love the Auresco night theme a lot for the piano centric part, but somehow this ended up being more like the Auresco day theme lol. Anyways, happy how this one came out regardless! A masterclass in efficiency, which NEVER happens around here lmao.

You know, there are some sections of this song that, when played on the piano and violin like this, kinda remind me of parts of the Mechonis Capital, Agniritha theme for some reason. Beutiful.
I was just trying to think what this theme was reminding me of, that's exactly it! And that theme is a beautiful masterpiece too, so that's high praise
at 0:53 or so, yeah. That's definitely either deliberate or the result of the same composer reusing that motif.
There are also bits of Invidia's BGM.
OMG I HAD NOT NOTICED THAT BEFORE AND I'M OBSESSED WITH THE AGNIRATHA THEME WTF IS WRONG WITH ME 😂😂 thank you so much for pointing that out!!!! interesting to think there might be parallels between Auresco and Agniratha, I guess the only thing I can think of is they were once thriving and happy communities tragically destroyed 😭Also interesting to think that Kiyota may have been deliberate in borrowing a bit from Agniratha for Auresco. I'm inclined to think it was just one of those things that happened subconsciously hahaha, she does have a very distinctive style that permeates all of her compositions!

haha, i've been using the night version of Auresco as my alarm sound ever since Torna came out, which made waking up slightly less painful xD Auresco is my favourite recent video game town, it gave me Clock Town vibes for some reason.
This beautiful arrangement and superb performances do it more than justice. Love it!

I _LOVE_ the Auresco theme as it's my favourite town theme from the series (which is saying a lot cause, y'know, _Xenoblade music_ ), and you four did such an awesome job capturing that austere but emotional vibe from the original. Beautiful cover! Auresco's theme has such a somber, nostalgic feel to it that just hits different after the events of TTGC, and you all captured that emotion perfectly with this arrangement
