    Hi Jamie, I am in Barbados for a month and I will like, to know if you have any specific Salon, for eyebrow and cuts. Thanks for all the information, very helpful!

      Hey Belinda! Hmm thats a good question. I'm the kind of girl that does my personal grooming by myself.. but some recommendations from friends are theloft246, my_salon, dkehairstudio all on instagram. If you're looking to maybe try microblading, try infinitebeautybarbados.

    Could you do the video about 12 month welcome stamp? Maybe you could even make a video how to go through that proccess, how to fill out the form on the web site (becouse there might be some unobvious things). I guess lot of people considering to come using this programm.

      @@temkavibornov614 No. At least not yet. Do you live there? Did you use this program? I want more information about it, like from someone's point of view that did it. I emailed the 12-month program people asking them questions and I'm waiting for a response. I have a dog. Can dogs come? Since this pandemic, are a lot of businesses closed? Is it like a deserted island, kind of? I would really like to know basically is it worth leaving Texas. What are the benefits of this 12-month program? What are things they don't tell you?

      @@arianamccoy1734 I just found out this programm not long time ago. What i know for now is what is on the web site. You need to pay fee when you arrive there (about your dog: if you can proove on a paper that he is a part of you family then i think he can join your trip😀), you need take a covid test and if its negative you are free to go. So it will be like your second home for the next 1 year, you can go in and outta island during this year and its no problem. Also notice that its for people who works remotely and make at least 50k USD per year or they have means to provide themself during the stay. There are lots of benefits to go there and i cant tell that its a desrted island. I work remotely and considering to go in the beginning if the next year. Now i am gathering information. If you are also considering to go and looking for the info we can connect somewhere and share info with each other, bounce some ideas off etc

      @@temkavibornov614 Right. I read all of that. And was approved and it's saying the next step is to pay $2k for the working visa. I'm just curious is there any benefit....I pay $2k for a working visa, I have to find the place to live, from watching Jamie Rocke's videos it's expensive to live there. The food is expensive...it's just flat out expensive is all I get from her videos and the research I'm doing. So I guess what I'm getting at is the "benefit" of going there just to be able to say "I lived in Barbados for a year." I hope that makes sense. Like, if you want people to go there, is the housing discounted? Is the internet discounted since we have to WFH. I wouldn't mind living there but what's the benefit

    Good day I hope you are well Thanks for the latest update as to Covid 19 in Barbados, I agree with you one death is one too many but all things
    consider Barbados is doing well as it relates to Coivid, how is Barbados doing otherwise, what's the economy like, what's the mood of the people like, I can imagine as a tourist economy there must be a real struggle to some extent? and last how are you feeling and doing all the best GW

    • @jamierocke
      @jamierocke  3 года назад

      It's hard to tell if the economy is suffering. But I'm sure that Barbados is still recovering from the doings of previous govt. I'm not a public sector agent, but just from the number of visitors to the island you see in restaurants and supermarkets suspect a lot of persons are taking advantage of the digital nomad welcome stamp. As it relates to the mood of Bajans, I can never be certain, even pre Covid. 🙂

    In the UK we're reminded that not everyone can easily wear a mask due medical conditoons they have. So now when I see someone not wearing a mask I assume it's for medical reasons.
