I have been a long time fan as you are aware Jamie but I have not however followed through with a desire to get a harp guitar myself. I believe it is time for me to make that a reality. Should I buy a cheap one to start or an intermediate level since I am determined to learn to play it?

To answer your question Tim, I don’t recommend buying too cheap, timberline has the best price, even a used one can work. It can be a fun instrument to experiment with, you don’t always have to make it complicated. In fact it really slowed down my tempo when I started, thinking about proper feel, resonance and timing. However if Harp Guitar isn’t in your cards, with 6 strings there’s so much you can do also! It’s a never ending journey of learning and discovering!
