Classic Pink Floyd best music ever.......This is a wonderfully done version , he keeps it real 💖🎶🎶🎵💙 🌙🌙🌙 🌙🌙🌙 so pleasing to the ear 💜 Solo is pretty good 💛 🌙🌙🌙 🌙🌙🌙 🌙🌙🌙
The artist did one thing that is hard to do; he kept the emotion of the original song. It may be simple to copy the notes of a song, but to be able to entice me to feel the same thing as Pink does when I listen to their version is a feat not to be trivialized. Good job!
Only thing wrong with this performance is... I wasn't there to witness it in person. I absolutely *love* this. It's so flawless, the tone is perfect, the beat is absolutely perfect... It's just... So amazing!!
I think that Roger Waters and David Gilmour would be pleased with this rendition. I certainly am pleased with it. You retained the mood and, I think, even augmented it somewhat by playing in a subdued manner and with a tinge of blues. And I didn’t even know that harp-guitars existed until seeing this video! Very interesting!
Anyone can do a great "remake" like this using their own arrangement and style. I would be astounded to hear someone do a better "cover" of this solo than Irene Ketikidi. ruclips.net/video/n8N59HZFVgg/видео.html
@@kelhawk1 that backing track and the solos were played at a reduced tempo. Played at full speed would be better, as would using more bending/slides and hammer-ons/pull-offs rather than so much picking. After-all its the multistep bends and the blend of other techniques above giving the smoothness and "silky-ness" which sets Dave Gilmour's style apart from others
I could listen to this all day. Simply perfect and beautiful. Outstanding job man. So relaxing and well done. Real music. I love it. Bought this on iTunes last night.

Gosh, you know - I always felt like Comfortably Numb is a critical song-- that it's about how in adulthood you become numb to life and just go through the motions, while in childhood you had hopes and dreams which you later completely forgot. ("The child is grown, the dream is gone, I have become comfortably numb") Like you're no longer happy or sad anymore, you're just numb-- and you're okay with being numb like that ("comfortably" numb) - but it's still not happy.
I suppose it’s unreasonable to expect the solo to match. However this performance is stunning and mesmerizing all the same. I could listen over and over again.
I... my limited vocabulary can't formulate the words needed to express how much I love this. My only critique is that it ends about 5 hours too soon. Seriously could listen to that all night.

I’m usually a rough critic but to the 1.1k who unliked, why? I’m actually curious to know. This was flawless in my book.
Maybe they disliked his fingernails
It's a great cover, with an interesting instrument... my guess is that the dislikes came from him not using the same instrument for the end solo.
I honestly hate the smacking of the guitar for some kind of beat. It’s distracting to the song.
Maybe because vid is montaged and can be seen something that was not really played ? And there are guitar hits and no music ?
Hussein Khalife Well, it’s very good but a bit too much like elevator music for my tastes.
Its an addiction.... I cant stay away from this song by Jamie and the harp
