It was a Carvin performance that inspired me to upload my first RUclips vid. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/CCk9F_sq_eg/видео.html It might be obvious that I'd had a few beers:o)
Like Hendrix Stevie and Buddy guy has it all. Even Hendrix wasnt the greatest singer but Carvin can slang some strangs. Lets build this guy up folks we need a blues revival
@@braindeadtoo : some say Clapton is overrated but Clapton influenced a lot of legendary players with his style. Now I ask you: who will ever say that he is influenced by Carvin? People will more likely refer to SRV.
@Dizzy Guitar Your comment is seething will jealousy and rather rude.... Carvin, overrated? Gods no. Have you even seen him play live? I wil lsay this: he's definitely a showman, and showboats a little too much for my personal tastes. However, he is supremely talented and can be forgiven for the former. One would think as a fellow player, you'd have a bit more appreciation for another artist! Instead you come out with nasty comments like "who will ever say that he is influenced by Carvin". The hell is wrong with you? I, for one am influenced by Carvin, his passion, love, and soul shows through his playing. I seen him live on the West Coast of Ireland last year, and was blown away. I've seen a great many artists from my time living in Canada and working in a really famous Blues Bar and honestly, Carvin is 100% one of the greats out there. In fact, I'd go as far as to say he's underrated. I do believe he'd get alot further if he lessened the showboating and focused a little more - yet, it's also a part of his style of playing. Much like Jackie Chan's "Comedy Martial Arts".
Love this dude.. Reminds me of a real bluesman…
Cuz he is 🫡 just discovered him a few weeks ago… feelin grateful
Awesome
I've known Carvin since I was 11 years old saw him at First Round Draft with my parents, my Uncle Dave was his best friend. Good times. I'm 41 now.
I watched this man play in mid 90's. At a restaurant/club in Tempe Arizona. He was good then. I imagine he is excellent by now.
I saw him twice in Belgium around 2010, he is unbelievable, a incredible showman that likes to be on stage !!!

@@DizzyKrissi He's a great showman and a nice bloke. That's why I like him. Not too many great guitar players also put a smile on your face.
